Funny that everyone is allowing you to spread misinformation but the bolded is wrong.
The INEC chairman stated that his primary duty is to announce the results. APC had 97 percent party agents of PUs. PDP had 99, LP 69.
First, it is no one's fault that LP is struggling with organization and communication issues. They are asking their agents to send the original PU result to a WhatsApp number on their Twitter account. This is information that should have arrived at the state situation room less than 2 hours after voting. The Partu agents should dispute the result at the National level instead of chasing shadows. How can you confirm that your agents signed the sheet at state level but you are looking for result to be uploaded first on IREV? How do you tell the electoral umpire to pause collation of votes?

Now, while the INEC chairman insisted on continuing was simply because every vote counted was validated with BVAS. So BVAS was used for the validation of votes and all votes counted were validated by it. The only issue it had was not being able to upload the result sheet..

If you go to court(probably the results have been uploaded) and it tallies with the collated one, you simply wasted your time. The Commission is also not mandated by law(I am quoting a professor of law on ChannelsTV) to first produce the uploaded sheet before announcing a winner. According to the electoral Act 2022, the returning officer(INEC chairman) has the right to make certain decisions provided a review is possible within a week.
In the same Electoral Act, there is no punishment for not uploading PU result except if it was done "willfully". Meaning that unless you criminally decided not to, then you didn't do anything wrong. Now you will need to prove criminal intent and motive.

I urge you all to tackle certain false news. They make the election less about BAT's strategy and more about rigging. Certain people view this thread and we should not allow the uninformed run with this agenda

I mentioned it a far back as February

Where are Labor Party agents original result sheet?

Why did their agents sign and agree to manipulated results?

Use your brain if you have one

Blaming INEC for evidence. In the plaintiff's final submission, did he request "again" that INEC should dutifully release certain materials?

INEC gave LP the papers. The problem is that LP has a shit administration. The papers that INEC submitted to the court and LP was accurate enough with the ones LP agents submitted.

Also recall that LP had to open a FB ROI page to gather PU copies from their agent. It is these copies from their agent that could have been used to protest the results. They either didn't have them or it tallied with INEC result.

It is also silly and plain stupid to expect INEC to submit Copies that are not in tandem with the final results.

The tribunal won't have passed judgement if INEC "still" haven't given LP the papers if they paid.

And for a fact, LP got their papers

On the allegations made by the LP that President Tinubu was not qualified to contest in view of the $460k fine in relation to narcotics charges in the US, the court held that trial and conviction by a court is the only way to prove guilt.

The case was a civil forfeiture case as it is a unique remedy which rests on the property being the target and not the person.

The case was in the civil docket of the United state north district court Illinois.

They should have flogged the LP lawyers for this particular petition

I will set the facts straight for all unbiased readers and call out your lying
Facts.

1:Tinubu legally challenged the case in competent court of law. This means that your first statement is disingenious and very well misinformation. You made it look like one must be present to legally represented

2 The second statement doesn't make any sense.
What is the "costs " of prosecuting a case that can net US $1.8m?
Was Tinubu reachable?
Was his lawyer represented?
Was his company(Mobil ) represented?
Was any of the defendant represented?
Was there any hearing?

How did the prosecutor simply decide to this these? Any evidence?

3 Here is the frozen/ forfeiture argument of yours. I remember pointing out that Russia frozen assets will simply be returned after USA takes $500k based on your story. There are several types of forfeiture. When an asset is frozen, $500k is collected when their is no judicial involvement (Administrative Forfeiture). There was a hearing in Tinubu's case: It was definitely not an administrative forfeiture since we all have access to court documents.

You lied again. The USA could have taken everything as not all forfeiture has a $500k limit.

NB; Anyone more familiar with the US justice system can correct me I am wrong

I have never taken a law class in my life but it is clear to even an idiot that Civil forfeiture/administrative forfeiture is different from criminal forfeiture.

Many reasonable people here already knew the decision of the court from the day the petition was filed

Yeah. Possible. I wouldn't say unlikely though. Many years ago, I read about the Russian 'art' of maskirovka (маскировка: 'disguise'). And while I'm not pro-Putin (at least the current incarnation of Putin), I'm almost certain that maskirikova is what is at play here. Military deception to "fool" NATO and the Ukrainians. I believe it's aimed at lulling the Ukrainians into a false sense of 'security' that dog is eating dog.

The timing (weekend) if the Wagner mercenaries insurrection is very suspicious.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_military_deception
bb

You need an understanding of current situations. I have observed several destruction of depots. The videos have been verified and confirmed by BBC and CNN. The statements of The Wagner boss are so impactful that I would be surprised if it was planned. Research how many people alive and free that have made half the statement the Wagner boss have made about Putin. New law has been signed already

The crisis in Russia is actually real. To stage manage such a ploy in this information age and at such minute details to achieve this level of chaos is almost impossible.

Wagner has cast the die and if they destroy any more depots, it will lend credence to the fact that this is real

I don't think Wagner will win though because of Putin has a lot of clout.

Ask yourself, what purpose does this elaborate ploy achieve that a simple step can't?
Is Ukraine stupid to lose their guard?
Is US/NATO silly to fall for this ploy with their array of satellites and spy planes already hovering around Russia?

NB: A military war game was concluded yesterday in Europe and a lot of Warships are this hanging around Russia.

The argument about job to pay back the loan still dey funny me tbh.

Any body that takes the student loan will have to go to school for 4yrs or more depending on the course the person study, do nysc and still have another extra 2yrs before repayment starts.

For example, someone that takes the loan to study Accounting in University this year 2023 will only starts repayments on 2030.

Are you people saying in 7yrs time, the person that take the loan wont be able to get a job?

I'll like you people crystal ball sha.
Most importantly, it is not compulsory. You can decide to pay by yourself as lots of people do.

No strike action going forward by ASUU

Then, it is not the duty of the government to create jobs. This is singularly the biggest misconception by Nigerians. The government should/must create a good environment for business owners but not jobs.

Government create jobs in communist blocs

So for an indigent student, it is a choice to be made after due consultation on the importance of the degree to his finances. People won't be have to do unreasonable courses and can actually read what they want to.

Hope you know Penalties account for 0.8 of XG?
it still makes DDG look terrible. Man city second choice keeper stopped an xG of 1.0(excluding penalty). DDG(Man UTD first choice and the one to help challenge for trophies) turned stone into wine. 2 volleys from both legs by the same player with very little chance of becoming a goal became match winners.

For further context, if 10000 players take that shot from that distance with the exact keeper position, only 5 will score. For each goal, the sample size becomes worse. Then you factor in that Gundo scored with his left

You can validly complain about your attackers performing at less than optimal level due to facing a good keeper and not having a great game.

Statistically, either Gundo performed x400 of the attacker's shooting optimal level or you had no keeper

Tinubu didn't remove Subsidy unplanned.

-There is no money for subsidy according to a bill passed by NA 18months ago and signed by Buhari.

-For this subsidy to continue until pains can be alleviated, Tinubu has to borrow about 3 trillion before end of June.

-Tinubu can't borrow without the assent of NA. The new NA will be constituted on June 11. That means, Tinubu has 19 days to convince your lawmakers to borrow instead of sending his ministers for confirmation by senate.

There is no Tinubu to blame

Regarding the Abyssinian connection, I believe you missed my point. At that point, Olaudah was europeanized but was he factually wrong? I don't have access to the relevant data.

In the twilight of the 18th century, there were very few Kingdoms that could have been used as a marker for the kingdom of Benin. Dahomey was dead, Oyo was weak.

It is pertinent to note that Olaudah wrote his book for Europeans. He knew his village was nominally under The Bini kingdom. He has probably heard enough about this Bini from the Aros who were at the peak of their economic power. He saw an European map with Bini kingdom marked and the closest big enough kingdom was this Abyssinia. It is normal to use it as a marker.

You are obviously not familiar at all with Benin history and language. If you were, there is no way you would have said no Bini person refers to himself as Edo!

When a traditional Benin man or elder is speaking his language, you will not hear him refer to himself or his city as Benin or Bini; what you will hear is Edo. Benin is an exonym, i.e., a name given to them by outsiders. The word has no place in the Benin people's traditional group-consciousness and expression. That is why the Oba is referred to in their native language as Omonoba n'Edo, and not Omonoba ne Benin. That is why Benin people refer to themselves in their native language as Oviedo kpataki, and not Ovbibenin kpataki. When Jacob Egharevba first wrote his little book on Benin history, the first version was written in the native language, and he called it "Ekhere vb Itan Edo" and not "Ekhere vb Itan Benin". It was only when he produced the English translation that the word "Benin" appeared in the title, hence "A Short History of Benin". In short, Benin people generally tend to use the word "Benin" in instances where they are speaking English or Pidgin. In their native linguistic and cultural setting, it is Edo.

The Europeans picked up the word "Benin" from people OUTSIDE the city, probably the Itsekiri, whose traditional term for the Edo was Ubini, and that was the term they used in their documentations and it became current in the last century. Before then, nobody in the Edo- or Igbo-speaking areas would have known Benin as Bini. Olaudah picked up that name when he was already outside Africa, from books written by European explorers, slavers and geographers. The name that was used in his village was Idu!

I don't know what record you're referring to that talked about a prince from Onitsha capturing a Benin princess. Sounds to me like you're confusing Obi Olise of Ubulu-Ukwu with a prince of Onitsha. Anyway, whatever incidence you're referring to is not proof of Igbo people referring to Benin as Benin in the 18th century.

If you have not read Olaudah's description of his African homeland, go and read it. The man was making references to places a 12-year old boy in an Igbo village in the 18th century could not possibly have known. Talking about Senegal and Angola, Benin and Abyssinia, and providing geographical details (in miles) about the extent of West Africa (Guinea, as he called it, and as Europeans called it at the time), and the distance (in miles) of different regions from the coast. You don't have to be very intelligent to know that he had relied heavily on existing European descriptions of Africa in painting this picture of his homeland. I'm taking that picture he painted with a huge grain of salt.

You cannot prove that any part of the SE was in the hands of Benin. No shred of evidence has surfaced of Benin armies fighting in any part of the SE, or of any SE people sending tribute or obtaining the ada sword from Benin. And Onitsha did not fall to the Bini! Why do I keep reading this? Are we reading the same traditions about Onitsha or is there a secret tradition that you people know of that I don't? According to the most pro-Bini version of Onitsha history, a Benin prince quarreled with a tyrannical Oba and after losing a battle to this Oba, he took his people and fled from the kingdom, crossed the Niger and established his own independent principality called Onitsha. Nothing in the traditions remotely suggest that this new principality was under the control of the Benin Kingdom from which its people are said to have actually FLED! How do you flee from someplace and still be under the place?! There was no tribute-paying, there was no receipt of the ada. In fact, Onitsha formed close dynastic ties with nearby Igala and with Nri, rather than with the rather distant Benin.

If a group of Nigerians got tired of the corrupt repressive government in Nigeria, and they japa'ed to an uninhabited island in the Pacific where they established a small independent state of their own, would you say the island and its new inhabitants were still under the control of the Nigerian government, or to use your word, that the island fell to Nigeria?

Igbo, Yoruba and Edo are all classified as closely related languages (YEAI), and this classification has nothing to do with the influence of Benin. Perhaps you need a crash course in Niger-Congo linguistics.
You are right about the prince being The Obi of Ubulu- Uku.

Igbo, Yoruba and Edo are all classified as closely related languages (YEAI), and this classification has nothing to do with the influence of Benin. Perhaps you need a crash course in Niger-Congo linguistics.
For you to understand my points, you have to understand that there are 2 types of history: Modern and Ancient.

In modern times, changes have been wrought to nearly all Nigerian cultures. Bini got its name from its earliest period according to a big school of historians. The Yoruba prince who founded the current Eweka dynasty referred to this kingdom as ile- Ubini (meaning vexation) circa 13th century. Before then, it was simply known as Igodomigo and were rued by the Ogisos

The Portuguese made there appearance under the reign of Oba Ozolua(will confirm) circa 15th century and corrupted the name to Bini. This was a good 250+ years before the birth of Olaudah. Importantly, the capital was known as Edo as can be confirmed by both visitors and Oral traditional.

Even the Yorubas were referring to this kingdom as Ubinu. How can you then say that they weren't know as bini kingdom?
