bumdish: If you are referring to form IMM1294E, it must be filled electronically, bar code generated and all 5 pages printed (note, 5th page is the Generated Bar Code page, which you get after you click on the Validate btn).

shavel: @noswaa,,,,,i am not saying ur sponsor is wrong with his actions neither am I saying he is so correct, but to my opinion its best to leave some reasonable cash in your acct since its a biz account.i would advise u to follow his advise since that is not his first time of sponsoring students abroad and he also did his phd canada.

bumdish: On this one, your sponsor is correct. A friend of mine who is now studying in Canada had only 2M balance in his statement printout at the time of application. He self sponsored but he had a wonderful transaction history. what they are interested in is your sponsors financial capability and his willingness to release funds to you when required. A/C balance is a pointer to all these but the a/c history definitely tells much more. The History shows the financial behaviour (Income sources, Expense avenues, Income cycles, Expense cycles, a/c turnover, transaction counts, transaction types, etc). You would see that the balance is just one of the far more many other things they are interested in. So in my opinion, you should bother about the history , not the balance.

bamshy: No Noswaa. I did not. But, I claimed I am still in employment and submitted same letter when i submitted my application. But, I guess they wanna confirm if I am still truly in employment and have asked again that i re-submit same letter.

bamshy: I've got an advice for everyone with pending application with CDHC. Once you have completed your application forms and added complementing documents please try to submit at the VAC (Visa Application Centre). I support submission at the VAC because of the all-week access and ability to get information more readily. For those who have submitted more than 3 weeks, I suggest you make calls and also track your application. I submitted on March 20 and my Medical instruction was dated April 5. Yea, that fast! Unfortunately, I got to know 20 days after! In addition, I was given some conditions to fulfill by CDHC which i needed to meet before 30days! Hence, my advice. Submit at VAC for easy correspondence and start following up once your application is more than 2 weeks old. For medicals, remember you'll need about 5 passport photographs and like 28,000 naira. So, be prepared. Wish us all the best! My additional info was payment of all tuition upfront and letter from employer for PgD. Hope it helps.

i was given a visa to study in stouffville college acca in march 2012 but its been hard convincing my mum to let me go and nw she has finally agreed but wont let me go until june so i can resume with the July intake but last month when i checked their website i paying half fees was acceptable but nw i checked but i cant find it there and also when i get to point of entry people have said that i might ve an issue cos the visa was issued in march and i am coming in June..anybody pls advise..i have tried contacting the school maybe they could send me another letter saying my admission is valid.i even realised that there are a lot of nigerians in that school....somebody pls advise...thank u...

In the sponsorship letter, it was stated that the person is my maternal uncle, though i never stated what he's going to gain from my travel. Also, i used another person, a friend who works in Zenith as another sponsor all together and it was stated dt he's a friend.
I actually combined these two sponsors in order for me to have a brighter chance as far as funding my program is concerned.
The first sponsor has up to N20m in his a/c while that my Zenith friend used his salary a/c,the two of them wrote a letter of sponsorship on my behalf.
That's it.

This exacly how it was put in the refusal letter:
1. not having sufficient and available financial resources, without working in canada to maintain yourself during your proposed period of study
2. not having sufficient and available financial resources, without working in canada to pay the cost of transporting urself to and from Canada
Other reasons:
3. Sponsor relationship not proven
4. Sponsor not credible
5. Cannot sustain finances beyond scholarship
6. Refused finances and bona fides
