You say things are really hard for you but you gave your wife 5m, who has given her friend 1.5m from it. Can you make that make sense? Imagine if you had given your mom that 1.5m or set it aside to be giving her to take care of her. Your mom also needs a new phone but your wife took it. Honestly, I hope your story is fake because you're a disappointment of a son if this is truly how you're treating your mom.

Who said to reach out to him physically? I never said to go confront him. Someone that isn't obligated to give you money in the first place, why would you confront him?

Moving forward, try telling that company what happened, apologising (the situation could've affected them too), and asking them to still consider you in the future when they've any other contracts. You just have to prepare yourself well (to avoid a similar situation) when that happens.

Nigerians are not new to promising people money when they know they've no intention of giving them though, lols. I've seen threads on FB of people asking for money for this or that and some people will reply and tell them to send their account number. The person will later say they didn't receive money from anyone in the thread. I've sent money to two people like these on there.

It sounds like he didn't want to help and kept lying to you intentionally that he would. When he lied that he was going to send it on Tuesday and didn't, you could've at least started looking elsewhere then.

This is a lesson to not completely trust one person when it comes to things like this and to always have a backup in case that person is dishonest and doesn't help. Relying and waiting and on him to send you the money was your mistake.

Before accepting money for something like this, it's also good to discuss or work out any terms and agreement, especially because they're not your family and may later ask you to return their money or say it's a loan, or ask for a cut. Who knows if you would have one of these issues with him, so maybe it's a good thing he didn't help.

Of all the single women in Nigeria, it's a single mother you had to go for. Or there're no more single women without kids in Nigeria that you could've dated and gotten to know? You were footing all her bills and flexing before marriage and if you're doing that, what did you expect would happen after marriage? She would expect you to continue na. You saw the red flags before marriage but still proceeded with the marriage, so idk what else to say.

One one half I got three toppings: Italian sausage, pineapple, black olives. I'm that person that loves pineapples (my fav. topping) on pizza.

On the other half, three toppings: chicken, green peppers, beef.

Baked chicken wings. So good.
