My humble advice...

If you want to become an entrepreneur well congratulations, your life is about to change forever.. But mind you while the reward for success is great, the challenges are nothing compared to being an employee.

If you want to start the cleaning business, find someone who is already succeeding in the business that is willing to mentor and give u valuable biz experience...

Have a workable plan, start small, work hard and grow with time, work on your attitude as a person towards life, work and people particularly cos this is a different ball game entirely from being an employee..

Stop asking every tom and Harry for advices as many of them will only succeed in discouraging you.. Not because you cannot do it, but because they could not..

Reason why I support u becoming an Entrepreneur are simple :
1. U will be fully in control of your life
2. U will not live a life under the shadow of another man
3. It is not the job of your boss to make you rich, but yours
4. If you are not the boss, u cannot get the bulk of the box
5. Entrepreneurship is the surest way to gain financial freedom

No man will respect a woman who was not part of his struggle. Men go from zero to greatness because they had a supporting woman beside them. If you are looking for a ready-made man, you are only trying to reap where you did not sow.

Before u decide to take it or decide otherwise you need to sit down with your pen and paper and do some calculations.

1. What is the cost of transport per day for 1 month

2. How many hours do your have to work, is it 7am -7pm , 8am - 5pm or what?

3. Will the job give you the space to seek other jobs

4. Do your have to ocassionally work on weekends like many private organizations do.

5. Are there other incentives outside the basic pay.

Careful analysis of this will help u make an informed decision.

From my little experience in the past.

1. I took a job that paid 30k, I didn't do proper analysis and all the pple I met for advice told me its a good start.

2. My transport per day happen to be 700 naira, to cut down cost by 200 I have to walk a long distance that last 1 hour.

3. The stipulated time for work was 8:30 - 5:pm, but in reality I resume 7 am and close most times 7 pm other occasions 8, 9 or 10 pm

4. They always try to make me work weekend even when I had informed them earlier that I run my masters program on weekends.

5. Through out my 9 months stay I could not afford a 300 naira meal. And most times I go hungry.

6. At the end of the 6th month when its was time to review my salary it was all stories.

I decided to leave at the 9th month after taking a critical anlysis of my 9 months stay with them.
1. my 9 month work for the company was worth less than 300k,
2. I had no time for my self
3. I couldnt even afford to buy a shoe through out my stay, talk less of renting a house, and if I borrow money how many months will it take to pay back from a non- existent salary.it was that bad
4. my masters program was in jeopardy
5. It became so obvious I wasn't working in my own interest. So our contract ended.

So let me advice u, forget about what people are saying, do a proper anaylsis yourself and decide whether to take it or not.

If it works thank , if it doesn't blame yourself.

Remember, Moses in the bible who led the children of Israel to the promise land presented the ten commandment to them. Yet they fought wars collectively.

Things have not really changed. When soldiers fight war and risk their lives to protect the weak and territorial integrity of a nation (a geniune course) its definately not sin.

But when the motive is selfish like killing innocent people to take over their possessions, or taking advantage of the defenseless and the weak, its definately sin.

I was so addicted to this game, my mum once seized them for over a month cos I waz hardly concentrating in sch.

Some times we will design a cup and organize a tornament btw ourselves. Other time we may just play friendlies.

Then I used to be italy, my best friend used to be holland. Others germany, france etc.

We use to pad the cocks with gums for balance. And use copper and bathing sponge to creat the goal-post and net respectively.

We also use marker and 1 meter ruler to draw the football pitch. We also use time (10 minutes per half).

We also label the players after our favourite players, like roberto baggio, maldini. We also cut out the numbers on calendar and gum it on each player with eba or pap.

Oooooh, the Good old Days.... It waz really fun.

INEC cannot possibly be ready when 26 Million voters cards are yet to be collected. That is probably the size of 5 to 6 African countries put together. I thinks that's just too much.
