But medical hasn't been upload on the portal

Send a CSE to Kenya, Nairobi office via this email nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca attach a copy of the E-medical sheet with request that the medicals be updated on your MyCIC account within the shortest possible timeframe.

i did upfront medical also. That was in early april ...

I applied on paper also on the 13th of June and this is exactly how my account is. Still on background check. Although I did medicals upfront which I passed since the 25th of June.
