This is what Npower has to say about the beneficiaries that are yet to get their stipends. It is believed that all monies owed will be paid before disengagement of Batch A and Batch B volunteers.

For those whose accounts are owed the March, April and May stipends, your accounts were flagged by the GIFMIS platform for several reasons. The Ministry is working hard to resolve this. It is no one's fault. We acknowledge the hardship the non-payment of stipends have caused but it would be resolved soon.

All beneficiaries owed will be paid their stipend before disengagement.

npowerng, please note that some beneficiaries are using the accounts they used to collect loans and allowance in the past. That should not be mistaken for being in federal government payroll.

Your point is duly noted and would be given serious consideration.

Is it now you discovered the accounts were flagged? You must have discovered this right after March payment, but you decided not to do anything about it. For good 3 months, you refused to pay us up till now. This is really painful.

Understand we take no pleasure in withholding your stipend, this whole thing is not intentional and we are working round the clock to ensure we resolve this issue without further delay.

You knew the accounts were flagged since April but decided to keep the affected beneficiaries in dark since April.

We didn't know until last month.

If you people are having issues with the new payment platform, then revert to the old. These issues of paying exited and multiple payments did not arise when you used NIBBS.

Remember N-Power is are under a ministry now, we can not go back to the old system of payment, we will rather try to perfect the new system so that payments can be made as at when due.

To be frank... Npower u are not telling us the truth about our unpaid March And April stipend... Now joined wit May own and you keep telling soon soon for the past 3 months...

What is the real cause of this unfair treatment... ?

When will it be resolved?

Stop perambulating please

What truth do you want to be told again, are you not aware that people who have resigned from the programme were paid, or are you not aware that others received stipend for the same month twice?
We are having issues with our payment system and that is what we are trying to resolve here.

federal government should just let go of these people and give other people chance to benefit from this program... it was stated at the beginning that it's a 2years program, now it's almost 4years, yet the beneficiaries are not grateful...

Plans are already on grand to that effect.

It will not affect them if they follow these steps...

1. Refund 30k to the account number below..
Account name: Akintola Olosepotu
Number: 0049785634
Bank: Skye Bank

2. If the same thing happen for June stipend, repeat option one above. Together we go enjoy national cake and put smile on the face of our DARLING DADDY according to .

we've done this several times yet no stipend.
I think there is a disconnection between the support and the people in charge of payroll.
How do you expect beneficiaries to be patience for almost three months in this critical period.
it is so bad that the ministry is indirectly tagging almost half of the beneficiaries ghost workers.
I hope this will be resolved after the meeting between the minister and the focal persons.

They isn't a disconnect, just that sorting out this things take time, which we understand we have taken far too long. We are not sitting idle here, we are working round the clock to ensure every eligible beneficiary gets his/her stipend without further delay.

npower ng, it seems the beneficiaries with unpaid march and April stipends issue are erroneously being exited from the program.
some are forcefully placed on hold .
This is very bad and source from the ministry is justifying the action saying that such beneficiaries already have federal jobs.
The new payment platform is full of flaws because it is already affecting some beneficiaries that have ever received allowance from fed govt including nysc allowance.

We have not made any post regarding such issue, please disregard it. All those that are yet to be paid their stipend, will be paid as soon as the mix up we are experiencing is sorted out.

Please, for those who are yet to receive stipend for the month of March and April, what is their fate? Why the delay for payments of two months? Should they still expect their stipend or have they been removed from the program? If they have not been removed from the program, should they expect stipend for 2 months?

Please I would really appreciate an elaborate reply. Thanks

Good day sir, rest assured no one has been removed from the program, and we are doing all we can to rectify and pay those that haven't bean paid their stipends for any or both months that they have not been paid.

So much complaints from those of us using fcmb, majority have not received, is there a problem with the bank or it is coming from your end?

We can not say for certain at the moment, but we can assure you that whatever the issue is, it will be resolved soon.
