Hello npower, what have u got to say about this? The Finance Minister ZAINAB HAMED, in her right and precise words, disclosed that “we have released fund for Npower long before now, and the fund is with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, it is left for the minister in charge to make payment as at when due”.

You question has been responded to on our previous post.

The news is accurate, however, we are experiencing some technical challenges, payment will commence as soon as we able to resolve these issues.

Lol.... reason why I don't bother complaining to any of npower social media account is because I know that when it comes to stipends, the handlers are as clueless as volunteers.
The same technical issues that have been causing delays for over a year now is still ever present according to you. You are just playing on our intelligence. Tell them anything to buy time is what you people are doing when it comes to payment.
If the programme is not sustainable anymore, feel free to let us know. People will grumble for days/weeks and move on. Its better than giving them hope and making them beg for work done.

Certainly beneficiaries will be paid their stipend, but we can't tell when. Rest assured that the programme is still sustainable, despite the delay in payment.

probably the ministry is waiting for some of the abacha loot in the US...? since there is no fund to pay volunteers!!! serving Corp members are well treated and better than the the Npower beneficiaries

Funds are available for payment sir, just that we are having technical difficulties, which we hope to resolve soon.

sheffy87:

so what's the reason for the incessant delay? you keep saying soon since last two weeks? if there is no fund to continue the program why not let Nigerians know...than inflicting hardship in the name of hope to volunteers

We are having some technical challenges at the moment, but we will resolve it soon.

N-Power is not competing with Sure-P sir, However, we will do all we can to resolve the issue of delay in payment as soon as possible.

n-debt, n-frustration ,the stipend you pay volunteers is for debt settlement.....!! Probably there is no fund to sustain this program....!

We will make sure that changes, rest assured that the issue of the delay will be put to rest soon.

May be because you termed volunteers as beneficiaries ,that is why we are been treated this way ..! You are not even sure when payment will commence....!! And the minister expect volunteers to ve save reasonable amount from the stipend that is been paid in the middle of a new month...! So bad

There is no N-Power without you, the programme is all about you, and rest assured we will do all we can to ensure the issue will be resolved soon.

Please, we're tired of all these stories.Last time ,it was due to data transfer to the new ministry that payment was delayed..This time around, what is it again..That's why this country won't move forward,we keep giving flimsy excuses to justify our incapabilities until it becomes a tradition. For crying out loud,if the federal government can't continue to sustain the program, they rather tell us than always keep us in suspense whenever it gets to paying stipends.Or don't u know their are some of us who depend solely on this stipends for survival.Let's call a spade a spade...Please pay us and stop all these cock and bull story

You will be paid your stipend, just bear with us.

At least the fixed deposit has yield more than enough!!!!! Quite unfortunate?

Do you really believe a ministry will withhold stipend to accrue interest?
Please bear with us the issue will be resolved soon.

The way Npower beneficiaries have being treated lately and always,it appear the Npower beneficiaries are now second-class citizens in their own country. All federal government workers, state workers and even NYSC, together with increase in their salaries have been paid their salaries toward the end of January. But for Npower beneficiaries,no increase in stipend, yet no payment

The increment was not captured in this year's budget.

I believe that on the demand side; we have a responsibility to determine market need, define role requirements, offer work incentives. On the supply side; create awareness, mobilize skills, certification, create courses to address skill gaps, some of which we have begun with N-Power.

Npower are you still moving file to the new ministry? Today is 7 of February and volunteer are still begging you to pay them their January stipend....! Do you really think you are elevating them from poverty with this method of payment that runs into the the mid of a new month!!!! Npower beneficiaries are suffering and you all know it...!they are humans like you...and not animals man can treat anyhow.!

We have no reason to intentionally withhold the stipend of beneficiaries, nor inflict hardship on them, we are doing all we can to pay beneficiaries their stipend.

Please disregard information that suggests that SSA to the President on Job Creation, Afolabi Imoukhuede is soliciting funds from any individual.

N-Power's integrity is sacrosanct. Do not be deceived by persons purporting to be representing officials of the programme.

Npower, good morning...! 30k barely last three weeks with the current economy reality..! I still believe they can still look at the remuneration ! Please we cannot afford to experience stipend delay hardship this New Year..! Thank you.

You will be paid your stipends soon, please be patient. We responded to the issue of stipend increment earlier so there is no point revisiting it again, do have a nice day sir.

Npower, good afternoon, please when will you effect the increment of stipend ? and also when is the pay day for January 2020 stipend? we are supposed to be paid on 27th of every month?

Good day sir, there are no plans of increasing stipend at the moment, while it is important for you to note that there is no precise date set aside for payment of stipends, expect your stipends any moment from now.
