Koboj how far? ehen eziachi lets continue our talk. You see, i can never begrudge you ur hopes and aspirations even though some of the things u post simply surprise me.as patriotic as one wud love to be,the seeds of nationality will always flourish in my mind.cant help it.however much as i agree that the hausa/fulani cannot continue to lord over the rest of the country am sure u know that nobody on NL can divide the nation.if it were possible someone wud have done it a long time ago.most peeps here are aggrieved maybe even more than u sef but only choose to challenge the status quo from other perspectives.if your various movements dont restructure and perhaps go to the UN or wherever it is that matters then i wonder how u can achieve what u want.some of ur posts can only make all these our youths, disillutioned with the failure of govt to bring them dividends of democracy, violent.in the course of this violence they'd prolly overwhelm law enforcement agents and buoyed by this fatal euphoria of overconfidence they wud wreak more havoc.our govt is run by mad men who rather than make concessions will come down hard with repression.this cycle of violence has repeated itself too often for us to pretend we dont know it.if ur massob friends who in the eyes of many appear incorrigibly clown like can attract international attention or get on the world stage and make valid points as regards why the current arrangement cant benefit the world or usa or all of us collectively ur sure to win more admiration, support and sympathy.i feel this will be much better than bathing an already battered people with acid in onitcha or disturbing/slapping a performing gov'nor amongst other allegations which include obtaining funds from the other gov'nors(that are aggressively wasting our meagre resources) whom u maintain were selected by abuja.

poverty in nigeria doesn't respect regions, only people find it hard to take up the priority of fighting corruption and halting it's spread.it's easier to resign to finger pointing and making jests along divisions.most people always find the easier path attractive.funny

Onlytruth, igbos beleive in democracy.Obi was duely elected by his people and is loved by many as you noted.however if by his actions or inactions he erred why not allow the people make him pay through the ballot box? massob has assumed the role of an enforcer, but where do they apply the brakes? in other words who enforces the enforcer?
most people dont see their leaders as gods they (the leaders )are usually detested.one of such reasons is because they make nice with such enforcers as massob and that keeps them in office longer than the people wish.these massobians hate Obi not because he hasn't been serving the people but because he hasn't been serving their purpose.their's a conflict of interest between massob and the people.anybody can choose to pretend massob reps the entire people.

Mr Eziachi, I am very disappointed with the response u gave on the Gov Obi issue. you owe no one any apologies howeva slapping the Gov on the head as you put it is completely wrong not because it is Obi as a man but because by so doing you have desecrated the highest political position in the land.you have shown total contempt and disregard to the good people of anambra state and the igbo nation as a whole.you claim you guys put Obi at the helm of affairs.I am only aware that he remains there today as a result of triumph in his many legal battles against the powers that be in abuja after duely obtaining his mandate from the anambra people. However if you are correct, anambra may as well bid bye bye to any credible candidate in the next election as you are only interested in those who would remitt money to massob.pity.on Okonjo Iweala's valied assesment I stand and not on those of a self serving organisation.Or is madam Iweala MD of world bank in whom we are well pleased, also sponsord by abuja? my heart desire is that igbos take their own destiny in their hands by coming home and getting the right materials to lead us.Igbo land will never fall into the hands of a few strong men who will cut off the balls of candidates who refuse to do their biding, while the masses are neglected. Chineke agaghi ekwe ihe ojo.tufiakwa. Ndigbo know a ruse when they see one.Imagine Obama bonked on the head for refusing to let some funds into the drain. Are we supposed to be going forward or backwards

Eziachi, could u please explain why a massobian will have the impetus to strike our amiable and performing Gov Peter Obi on the head? a gov'nor duely elected by his people.whose purpose is massob serving? dont you consider this lawlessness in its most naked form? A Gov'nor that even our very own Okonjo Iweala, MD of the world bank has hailed as the most fiscally responsible Gov'nor in the east.A Gov, journalists agree has employed a number of breath taking masterplans worthy of note.
Politics / Re: Biafra Will Be The Biggest Mistake Ever. Beware! by nsibidi101(m): 12:03pm On Aug 21, 2009
whether biafra is the wrong or right call shouldn't even be the issue.the issue should be laying the right foundations of good leadership and kicking the ass of wicked leaders in our homeland. If we intend to match against evil and give our lives to fight corruption and indiscipline in biafra, what stops us from matching and fighting against it NOW in our eastern homeland, adopting a do or die approach attitude for all that is good, afterall many on this forum have laboured to associate us with good and none else, making sure only our best brains represent us?
the situation on ground is that many of us prefer to flee from the east to other areas in nigeria and beyond instead. they leave the management of our affairs to the wrong human material who are only interested in personal agrandizement.if we do not have enough resolve now to hold our leaders accountable and perhaps show nigerians that we are all we claim to be, in other words a shining example(like fashola presently) against all odds, then it is wishful thinking to beleive these leaders (in the east ) wouldn't high jack our affairs once again when the dust settles from the struggle.their resolve to perpetuate themselves in power is matched strength for strenght with ours to escape our collective misery.they might even have an edge with all the money they have amassed, as divide and rule has proven a useful tactic since time immemorial.at this juncture I must recall that martin luther king jnr and his likes didn't achieve all they did operating from some cozy far away environment. igbos should come home and develop their land, many have been singing this as though it were a song.if not in person, at least they should make tangible investments in the region.many nigerians now question the morality of our unification and would rather we go our seperate ways.so perhaps if those who are interested channel their agitations to the right authorities the world over then their dream may yet be realised. however name calling and hauling abuses to disenting voices can only be a set back.A wise and efficient group/ people spend no time at all fighting the wrong enemy or creating unnecessary ones, neither does it distract itself from the main issue. corruption, indiscipline and those who oppose resource control are the enemy and a great many nigerians agree with this.lets fight these together, the more the merrier.our number and cultural diversity is our strenght.my 2 cents

UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY ABEG.Many individuals know little about our country talk less of politics.they are not afforded this luxury because they have little or no access to power supply.give naija people power to run their bizness and they'll be eternally grateful.because of poor dissemination of information many peeps still dont what the heck your are talking about when u say 'basic human rights'.give them power and many peeps will be informed and show more interest in fighting corruption.

When ppl don't come out cursing and bleating and singing biafra like a song they are suddenly denied their igboness.Odikwa egwu.some prominent journalists of igbo extraction beleive many ibos dont fancy speaking their language any longer.infact a seminar or so was held here in owerri a few wks back to address the issue.I'm begining to beleive speculations that the language will die soon(God forbid) as the anthem isn't even in ibo.I'll be so greatful to God when we start doing first things first and breakin
new ground without making so much noise about it.

Omo ibo, true talk. the guy may have committed political suicide but to conclude on that may be a premature judgement.I dont recall making any comparison between the north and east in my earlier post.my view is that I doubt people will hesitate to vote pdp if they present a credible candidate only to vote ppa because orji holds fort there, unless I'm mistaken.people yearn for good leadership and ppa that would have been a good alternative to pdp hasn't provided that.it's just an enterprise like pdp with the same come chop mentallity.unless people are happy that a certain cabal are doing the looting and not another based on sentiments.this though is dangerous thinking and the people will continue to suffer.

Yaradua is not sincere.YES ribadu was selective but the guy was good at what he did.imagine that yaradua with his rule of law mantra appointed ribadu, men we wud have made so much progress.but no, who are yaraduas best friends? who reccomended waziri for appointment? ah ha, no wonder
they cant stand ribadu, hence they want him dead or alive. He's the guy that can call yaraduas bluff and support his claims with facts and figures.

@ omo ibo, do u live outside the country or outside the eastern region?
I'm asking because you insinuate that ohakim will the wrath of the ibos because of his defection.I beg to differ my guy, ohakim moved to serve his interest this notwithstanding I suppose many people are tired of selfish individuals who masquerade as 'savior of the ibos'. many people voted ppa in abia to wittle down the influence of the pdp but what do they get systematic destruction of the state.my guy people are desperate for good leadership and orji's party hasn't provided it sentiments aside.ppa is just an enterprise no different from pdp and many peeps know this.nothing like ibos are mad ohakim defected, if he gets his calculation right many people will gladly jump into his train, that's if spreads the money around.the theiving continues.
Politics / Re: Yorubas Strategically Keep Distance From North/East Issue Because Of This. . . by nsibidi101(m): 9:23am On Jul 19, 2009
Igbos may face resentment from some minority groups who felt were not duely consulted before being dragged into a war that was eventually lost.that may be well founded, but thats where it starts and ends.all these yorubas who like to stir hatred against ibos so that they the yorubas can appear as the lovely triumphant folks make me laugh.their's no vice peculiar to any group in this country.the know it all yorubas who have taken over affairs of this country along with their awusa cousins should make it a better place for us all now ehn.mba, you spend day and night telling us how igbos did the first this and the first that.na wa to una o.
I still dont know why yorubas are tribalistic in nature
Politics / Re: Yorubas Strategically Keep Distance From North/East Issue Because Of This. . . by nsibidi101(m): 9:11am On Jul 19, 2009
it's funny how yorubas just love to pass themselves off as pure and holy, the ones who never put a foot wrong.I dont support uprisings but with or without volumes of history it is clear to any unbiased umpire why nzeogwu of blessed memory carried out a coup and what he hoped to achieve with it.it clearly was not an igbo agenda. unfortunately some officers in a miscalculated move spared their igbo targets.anybody can twist it any which way they like though.
anyhow the yorubas are clever, I give that to them.
1.they recognise igbos as competitors and so are welcome to any tactics that is hatched to exclude them from the helm of affairs.
2.they turn a blind eye when igbos are killed up north.isn't it better for them when the igbo population is drastically reduced?
3.they always like to appear as the 'good people' and dont waste time when it comes to bash igbos at every opportunity.

Politics / Re: Attempts To Demonize Northerners For The Troubles In The Niger Delta Is Absurd by nsibidi101(m): 11:30am On Jul 17, 2009
What is the way forward sef?
1.the north is using southern money to effect development in that zone although a very large sum still ends up in private pockets.the people there dont care, their culture doesn't encourage them to question the master(Gov'nors) or so it seems.
2.the south is using money allocated to it by the north rather irresponsibly because nearly all ends up in private pockets.the people are angry (their culture puts no restrictions on this) and direct such to the north who are in return angered because they think the south should look inwards before questioning their authoritarianism (had to locate my dict. to get that right). na wa o, e be like say problem don wear cover shoe.
Politics / Re: Non Indegenes Going Through Hell In Kano. by nsibidi101(m): 10:28am On Jul 17, 2009
@ disgiezd, God bless you abeg.what you have said to my mind is not stupid at all.I simply can't understand why some people will buy land, and continue to establish where the indigenes have refused to embrace the spirit of oneness.who knows, if these northerners have to travel to southern parts to get what they need and also settle to work they just might open up their mind to new ideas.although I must add they are an unpredictable lot. Some of them in PH mingle freely
Politics / Re: Non Indegenes Going Through Hell In Kano. by nsibidi101(m): 9:39am On Jul 17, 2009
Chai!! my heart goes out to all those people of the south who continue to lose their lives and property as a result of constant unwarranted attacks that are being condoned by the northern state gov'nors. however, aside from this kano and kaduna I'm really not sure why people go to live in sokoto, zamfara, jigawa, bauchi, borno etc.despite the obvious challenges there.they pay taxes and still are regarded as second class citizens.they cant even aspire for political positions.THEY SHOULD ALL COME BACK and let us in unison coerce the Fed Gov. to make the PH, warri, calabar ports fully functional so that bizness can thrive here in the south abeg, since it appears they go up north in search of jobs and instead lose their lives.Obudu is a highland with a great climate like jos.so why go there? uyo, owerri, benin, asaba, enugu, markudi, ogun, yenogoa akure are better places to live with far less friction among residents.Govt accross all levels should make the south east and south south ECONOMICALLY VIABLE.
