Hi boss @Nuella45 looks like we are the only ones left waiting for AM that applied since February.

Mine is 9 weeks plus. My alien office has confirmed to me via mail that they have agreed to my visa since 2 weeks ago. I have sent several mails to the embassy no response from them not even be patient we are on it. Na wa for them.

So I need advice from the elders in the house. I just got a winter offer from Aachen. So I am thinking of canceling this my summer visa application that is running into the 10th week now.
Then reschedule another appointment with the German embassy for winter.

Or should I still wait for my summer AM. The delay is gradually turning into Sth else.

Sha has already answered it, as a German language student you aren’t bound by an enrollment date. You can enroll anytime during the course of the semester and begin your language course. Enrollment dates only affect you when you are to enroll for a study program

Perhaps something is wrong with your sponsorship letter. The embassy can decide to reject somebody even if the Alien office approved the visa. I am not saying you have been rejected. But Since you contacted your alien office and they said you should contact the embassy, i guess there is really nothing you can do except to pray and wait for the embassy's decision.
When is your enrollment deadline?
In the meantime, please track your prepaid envelope (the one you took with you to the interview) because embassy can be funny at times

If the decision has been made and they haven't served you a plate of rejection mail after 4weeks I think you are safe you just have to worry about your enrollment date now. Seek for extension if its already choking .

Lots of people haven't experienced this, so we might not know the best thing to say to you. But I'm really feeling your pain and could not possibly explain what your delay might be.
Recently in the course of my pursuit too, I've gotten to meet lots of people in my school and city where I'm going to. I've asked lots of possible questions as to why a particular thing I have faced during this journey could be. I've asked to know if it's just peculiar to me or if lots of people in my city has experienced same. Sometimes it just helps to get the right facts.
Ask about your documents, about your answers during interview, what you filled in. Ask about your BA or SL. Just ask as much as is possible specific questions. Sometimes you might not get anything from them, but you just naturally get soothed.
Also I know it's possible nothing seriously is wrong. I really hope it's so, and I pray you get your AM soon. I also hope your school is kind enough to give you an extension
