safarigirl: I'd say Mitchi, he's like the foundation for me....Kaplan would come a close second though.
You could also make an argument for Kevin cuz it's his beat-boxing skills that make them unique, but then, even without beat-boxing they could still work....they'd just be like all the others I feel the baritone baseline Avi introduces kinda unites the whole sound together, gives it this smooth feel, remove it and the tune falls apart. Even Kevin's beat-boxing would sound a little off without it. |

joywendy: lolz yeah unbelievable....both Scott and Mitchi are best friends though there is this rumor going around that they might be lovers. I don't know how true this is the both have a show which they call superfruit most of their stories are usually said there. You can check it out on youtube sha Superfruit...I'll check it out, thanks. Safarigirl, does Scott give off gay vibes too? |

safarigirl: dude, even his voice is gay-ish, not that hard
Scott doesn't look so old when you see him sans airbrush, photo-editing, make-up and the whole nine yards. He has this whole college frat boy look about him, so easy to digest the 23 years ish. Look harder and ignore the jaw The harder I look and the more I ignore the jaw, the more I see an older dude. Guess it's the general thing about them white guys looking way more matured than their age. Ah! I've got a very serious crush on Kirstie. Who, in your opinion, is the most indispensable member of the group? I'd say Avi Kaplan |
Music/Radio › Re: Accapella Groups: Pentatonix by Nuges11(m): 10:53pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
safarigirl: random guess: it's Mitchi Grassi- he just has this gay vibe about him Lol....you must have a special retina for spotting gay vibes You're right, he's the one, and he's quite open about it. Their ages tho, quite doubtful...it's hard to believe that Scott guy with chiselled face like that of superman is only 23 |

Been using the BlackBerry OS 10 for a while and I must say it's the best ever. The user experience is just awesome. *Swipe diagonally from the right bottom half of the screen to go back on android apps. Awesome! Seems like magic. *The number + picture lock. To me this is the best mobile lock system I've yet seen. Unless you tell (and by telling I mean explaining a couple of times and even demonstrating) someone your lock combination, they'll never be able to unlock your device even if you unlock it a thousand times while they're looking. BB10 till a better OS do us part |

Literature › Re: HELP! What Exactly Is Constructive Criticism And How Is It Done? by Nuges11(m): 7:55pm On May 07, 2015 |
LarrySun: Rather than propounding some half-baked explanations, I shall contend myself, in this regard, with pointing out baked explanations. I hope I would not be stepping on too many tails.
What is Constructive Criticism? No, I'm not going to bore you with an unnecessary explanation when it has already been explained by the great Texanomaly herself. But I reckon you will agree with me that constructive criticisms can be given only by constructive critics.
Who is a Constructive Critic? He is anyone painfully honest. He is a vicious butcher, plunging his grammatical knife into the bowels of a poor literary specimen. Like a carpenter, he jams the end of his hammer on the awkward joints of jarring clauses. He is the unkind pugilist that slams his knuckles on the temple of disabled syntax and crippled tenses. The constructive critic is the furnaced knife that cauterizes the bleeding wounds of grammatical nonsense.
The honest critic can be very raw; even sometimes cruel. The question is: Who really wants the constructive criticism? Are we not really entangling ourselves in our own verbal cobwebs? A piece of work blown into the court of a constructive critic may take a yoke of oxen to drag it out again unscathed. I say we should be careful of what coxcombries we wish for. Constructive criticism goes beyond the words of the tribes of Isreal who constantly praise Moses for performing wonders with a magical staff.
It is a pity to still discover that some of the writers who solicit for the so-called constructive criticisms only end up screaming foul at the slightest trimming of their hedges. The literary world would be better off without these acidulated sciolists and balderdashing decadents who are dizzy with their own intellectual altitude. Ok now I'm dizzy 2 Likes |
