You too dey digress and I no get that energy. Some popular people (entertainers) also have large followers cos of the genuine interest that's why I gave example of Wizkid, David, Laycon, Funke Akindele, Genevieve, etc. Kiddrica don't care about followers yet they were lamenting on SM about not gaining followers cos they felt people reported their accounts. They are reality stars and they are supposed to be gaining followers but I guess people aren't interested in their rubbish and don't find them interesting plus no talent.

Adesina Etomi's followers shot up after the buzz of the proposal and marriage to Banky, that is how followership works on SM (people are either genuinely interested in you e.g Wizkid, David, Laycon, etc or following you for the controversy). That is why Erica and Kidd are always clout chasing putting their fake relationship outside to get a buzz so that their followership will increase yet e no gree grow, hahahahaha.
