Eze, who spoke when Governor Ikpeazu paid him a visit at his Enugu residence, at the weekend, said that Governor Ikpeazu has the character of a true Igbo leader like that of late Dr. Sam Mbakwe, Governor of Old Imo State.
“You’re a good man. Your humility makes people to love you. You also respect people. This is why Abia people love you. And they voted you again as their Governor. Please don’t change this good character.
“You have Igbo character like that of late Sam Mbakwe of old Imo State. Mbakwe took good care of Imo State when he was governor and you are doing the same thing in Abia today. That is why they love you. You are a good Igbo leader. You represent the future of Igbo nation. You in Abia, Governor Ugwuanyi in Enugu and Governor Dave Umahi in Ebonyi, you people must ensure that Ndi Igbo unite. Good day Justwise and other gurus in the house; I need your assistance on this.
I am inviting my mother-in-law to the UK to stay with us for a short while, see her grandkids and her daughter (my wife) who she hasn't seen for almost 5vyears since she left Nigeria. I will be sponsoring the trip and have enough balance and earnings to cover that. I know tgat while I'll be sponsoring the trip financially, she still needs to show evidence of her financial state; that's where the problem lies. She is a trader who owns a street shop not registered with CAC, no business bank account and no properly documented business activities ( the typical Naija trader). How do we go about filling the part and showing evidence of her financial situation? Any suggestion woukd be welcome, thanks. |
Politics › Re: Yoruba Voted For Atiku More Than Igbo – Fani-Kayode by nwabobo: 11:42pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
YourNemesis: Besides, Igbos by themselves can not determine the direction any national election result will go. They usually need another region to vote in the same pattern to make a significant enough impact, Usually SS.
But this time, the SS states all had their own individual interests from Delta to Akwa Ibom to Edo to Bayelsa. The mistake your type make is that they limit the number of Igbo voters to the number of voters registered in the South East. Any sane Nigerian knows there are more Igbos living outside the South East than those living in the South East. Lagos alone has 2.4M Igbo voters; reason Asiwaju and his thugs are panicking about what the Igbos can do to Sanwo Olu if they come out to vote. |
Crime › Re: 29 people killed In fresh attacks in Zamfara State by nwabobo: 5:00pm On Mar 03, 2019 |
Trizzi: No fewer than 29 people have been confirmed dead and several others injured after armed bandits attacked a community in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The attack is said to have occurred on Thursday, February 28, 2019, but the information about it was not made public until Saturday.
Confirming the incident in a statement, the spokesman for the state police command, Muhammad Shehu, said the victims were ambushed by the bandits while on their way from a local market in Kwari village in the local government area.
“On 28th February, 2019 at about 23:45hrs, DPO Shinkafi received a distress call that on the same date at about 21:30hrs, vehicles conveying traders from Shinkafi to Kwari village were ambushed by suspected armed bandits while coming back from Shinkafi Market. DPO quickly responded by leading a joint team of PMF/CTU and military to the scene of the incident with a view to ascertaining the authenticity of the report” he said.
The command’s spokesman explained further that on getting to the scene, “13 corpses were found, while 16 other corpses mostly members of civilian JTF were later discovered littered as the surrounding bush was combed by the joint security operatives.” He added that a joint team of police mobile force and counter-terrorism unit of the police and military were swiftly drafted to the area in order to restore normalcy.

nonsobaba: Buhari should take those demands and throw them in the trashcan. Buhari shouldn't make any kind of deal with Atiku, the PDP I know will later say Buhari made a deal with them because he was afraid he would lose in court. Buhari beat Atiku black and blue in the field, he will beat him in the courts too. The worst Atiku can do is to form a parallel government and he will tossed into the same cell with dasuki.
