Morale is very low over here!! Please has anyone gotten AD or gone for interview, kindly update us maybe it'll revive hope again.

Most people are about entering second semester but are still here in Nigeria, it's a very challenging time for everyone after the hurdles of gaining admission and enrollment. God is able though to change things....

I don't even know when our naira lost so much value. It crazy because in 2015 it was 260naira to a euro. The people handling this economy and their generation will not escape the wrath of God.

Approach Sterling Bank to use Form A. It still works and perhaps, at 480 NGN per EUR.

But this is very very unfair because everyone cannot have first class. It's better for them to just say if u don't have first class 2019 even look for admission in a German university. So that people will not waste time and resources looking for admission there.

Let it just be known so that we go to other countries. because what's the point of getting an admission without visa, it's a wasted effort.

If we have a functioning government, these are some of the things they should look into. But our government are as useless to us as a dead rat.

Best bet, send mail to the school. U cannot base ur decision on advice frm fellow student. Ask the school direct, German schools respond to mail very well.

honestly speaking if u dont want to do it at the embassy it best u do it at the ikeja high court even if u want to do any affidavit concerning abroad things that the best place I will advise u to go to I have someone who works in the court he can help you .... if ur interested just let me know

It's the same thing. Once u get a certified private practicing notary that has a seal to show for it, it's fine doesn't necessarily have to go to the court.

I used that notary to get my documents certified for uni-assist application and it was more than accepted.

Anyway, bros if u want to go to high court of Justice to do it, just do what u feel comfortable. The most important thing is to get it notorised and certified, period.

Aboki is telling me 6,154,785 naira for 10,521 which is the total amount to be paid through Fintiba (charges inclusive).

Someone help with advice pls. This aboki price is ridiculous. Did anyone get it cheaper?

Be Patient, that's what I would say about the AD.... That one is per head and God's mercy and favour. That's it

None.... In Germany, if u have HND u apply for BSc. DAAD website is very clear on that. Maybe u should check it out.

Going to a polytechnic is one of the most horrendous mistake anyone can make. In Nigeria u are rated lower to a BSc holder, outside the country too, same. Sooo sad.

Maybe if u go straight to the point you might have answers.

You have to understand that most pple here have their various issues especially with getting AD, so I doubt if much pple will have the patience to read through all u wrote and then think out a solution.

OK. But as a student u are allowed to work. I guess they exceed the number of hours a student should take on or better still they abandoned their studies completely. Why would anyone do that anyway....

I still feel their is more to it. It's also very important for us as aspiring international students to know that we are like ambassadors representing our country: what we do and how we conduct ourselves comes back to hunt those at home. It's unfortunate!!! May God help us all... Amen

Wow.... This is serious. Obviously the actions of few people have now affected the honest and hardworking students who just want to really have a good experience studying in a country that cares about quality education.

Pls, let’s be cautious what we put up here. This is a very public forum. What we put here, even the People in the German embassy see this. And honestly, knowing fully well that Nigerians will always find a way, those guys at the embassy are trying their whole best to frustrate every smart route. I have been affected tho. So I know what I’m saying.
Pls, if you have any info that may help people get appointments, pls I’d advise it be done privately. These visa officers are here and getting more info on how to frustrate people. Covid isn’t the reason behind the visa conditions of Cat B. Its just a tangible reason they found. Let’s be guarded pls.

there's no age limit but if u are like upto 25 atleast u should plan well because u will get some lot questions regarding while u still wanna do bachelor's at ur age and u have to satisfy the consular well enough with ur answers. U fall under cat B

OK. There is no issue with passing the exams.

Regarding age, is there a limit to go for a BSc program in Germany because I haven't come across that. U can let me know what the limit is?

Lastly, what category should I go for, A or B.

Ok is not a problem. Yes they normally ask at the consulate but since u already hold an admission letter and also u are already a student of the sch there's nothing to worry about. And make sure u don't partake in the examooo unless u(really know say u Sabi book well well) cuz if u fail one course 2 consecutive times then the sch will expell you. And secondly how old are u now? That's another factor u should plan well too before u go for ur interview

No, I don't have a German language proficiency because it's not part of the requirements for the course.

It's an English program, International Wine Business at Geiseiheim University. They even accepted an English proficiency letter from my school (HND).

I have already enrolled and we are even done with first semester. My first semester exam is going to be in May but I applied for category B.... No appointment date yet.

Do u think they will ask for German proficiency if the school didn't ask for it?

U can check EDUCARE24 and get ur health insurance done with them. Fintiba health insurrance is also good.

Aside the school requesting for health insurance in order to get u enrolled, u need health insurance for ur visa. It's not untill u get to Germany b4 u get an insurance.
