TV/Movies › Re: What Are The Chances Of Upcoming Story Writers Making It In Nollywood? by nwarosa: 1:48am On Mar 25, 2016 |
Start by writing scripts that can be made with under 5m . Thanks to piracy, people have to shoot with little so that they can recover the little. Very few people have the funding and sponsorship connect. SerialGist: Seems the challenges are everywhere. From the music industry where so many great song writers write their songs and because they lack connection up there, their dreams couldnt/cannot go anywhere far. So many young men and women dream to get in acting but only less than 40% always succeed. Not like they are not good enough, but most times cos they lack the right connections to push them up the ladder.
The basis of this thread is that, a great story writer has been able to put down great stories that will for sure shake nollywood when shot and produced into the public. As usual, his greatest challenge is the right connection. He has even met with some great movie directors and all commended his works but sponsorship is the set back to realizing this golden dream.
Long story short, what is the way out? |

It wouldn't matter so much to producers if they had other platforms for recovering their monies. If you could make great transparent sales here with very little piracy on DVD and cinemas , We wouldn't be upset about online leaks abroad |

Thanks a mill. Yes I have been self medicating and no I wasn't tracking it. I guess because it worked so easily the first time. I will find a doc wholesomegrace: Because you've not gotten positive result doesn't mean its not working. were you tracking your follicles? cos what clomid does is to stimulate ovulation. Release of eggs and fertilization are not the work of clomid. If u are self medicating, i would advice you see your doc. Clomid isnt a drug to be used for too long a time. |

Dear mamas,
Please help me. I got pregnant on my first dose of clomid 50mg. Sadly I lost the pregnancy to pprom at 21 weeks. Since then I have taken a 50mg and 100mg dose of clomid and it has been unsuccessful.
Please what could be the reason? Have I become unresponsive to the drug? |

What is this obsession to give birth elsewhere, what about Nigerian good hospitals? Guess you haven't checked the rate of pregnancy related deaths in Nigeria. Too many factors working against the health industry. |

You either have no clue about what's going on in Imo State OR you are very good at lying to yourself. Abagworo: He never said Imo is broke. That was a mere caption and not reality. If Imo was broke all the massive ongoing projects would have come to a hault. What he said is true about every State in Nigeria that the monthly allocations have dropped by 75% leading to budget deficiency by 75% . However recurrent expenditure is fixed and cannot be modified hence the need to device means of making parastatals profitable enough to pay employees and not as a means of draining free Government money. |

I don't see the difference in quality between these and what we import from China. And they can only get better with patronage .
The craftsmen admitted that the quality could improve but they couldn't afford the necessary machines required for tighter finishing and due to low patronage of local products, they can't afford to take loans to purchase them.
Please note that these are craftsmen who can work to specifications. They don't know about all the modern he tools eg advertising and all but they know their craft and they are ready to work.
So, entrepreneurs this is a good time and opportunity to launch your footwear business customized for your companies.
