THE FLYING CAT


Nelson, a friend, recently told a true story about the pastor of his church. He had a kitten that climbed up a tree in his backyard and was then afraid to come down. The pastor coaxed, offered warm milk, etc. The kitty would not come down. The tree was not sturdy enough to climb, so the pastor decided that if he tied a rope to his car he could bend the tree down enough to get the kitten. He did all this, checking his progress frequently, but as he moved the car a little further forward, the rope broke. The tree went boi-ing and the kitten instantly sailed through the air-out of sight. The pastor felt terrible. He walked all over the neighborhood asking people if they'd seen a little kitten. No. Nobody had seen a stray kitten. So he prayed, "Lord, I just commit this kitten to your keeping," and went on about his business.


A few days later he was at the grocery store, and noticed one of his church members. He was amazed to see she was buying cat food. Now this woman was a cat hater and everyone knew it, so he asked her, "Why are you buying cat food when you hate cats so much?" She replied, "You won't believe this," and told him how her little girl had been begging her for a cat, but she kept refusing. Then a few days before, the child had begged again, so the Mom finally told her little girl, "Well if God gives you a cat, I'll let you keep it." (Can you see where this is heading?)

She told the pastor, "I watched my child go out in the yard, get on her knees, and ask God for a cat. And really, Pastor, you won't believe this, but I saw it with my own eyes. A kitten suddenly came flying out of the blue sky, with its paws outspread, and landed right in front of her."

• Sowing unavailability can’t reap(win) your child's heart.

Children, are the heritage of the lord, hence, a seeming huge space of time needed to be created, solely for their upbringing. However, I can’t deny the fact that the already bent crayfish can’t be made straight again, except it split into half. But, there is always a way to straighten out things with your wards—continuous years of trustworthy proves. At least, this makes us human, not sort of Crayfish cliché.
Sadly, many upcoming parents don’t see the need to win their wards' heart. Ha!!! I pity the great loneliness that would hit your old age times. Mind you, not loneliness as in boredom. But, your solitary words flying in the air looking for your blood to echo it to their generations and generations to come. So pathetic, it would keep searching for your children, but non would appear with a serious mind.

In a nutshell, in order to win your child's heart now and forever—follow this steps:

#1 Take them in prayer

“Prayer is the key. Prayer is the key. Prayer is the master key…” Do you remember that old Christian song? Yeah! Prayer is the key to your child's heat. All other steps below are just supplement. This, is the only engine, capable of driving your home with happiness. And, solidified parent-child relationship. Pray for them. Pray, not curse them, “Lord Jesus, I pray for[your kids name here]. Let me love them as you’ve loved us. And, please, help them reciprocate the love you and I have for them.”

#2 Be available

You can’t be an unavailable father or mother and expect them to ‘know' you. Think about you. Pray for you. Or ironically hit you up on phone, “dad, thanks for not been there when I needed answers. I made a lot of mistakes, which I think i'm fine…”

FATHER! And, woman, don’t exempt yourself. MOTHER! Be, always there for the kids. They need you. Don’t let work and work and work cloud your mind to the detriment of your , ‘own blood'. In essences, take the time to know them daily. It doesn’t matter how you were brought up. You can start a new committed generation today.

#3 Stop the incessant lies[b]

Don’t ever think they are unawares of your lies. The obliviousness of your lies are well jotted in their hearts. Therefore, if this cycle of telling lies and ‘watch it. He would say that again' keeps waxing stronger between you two—the trust would gradually diminish. And, you know what comes down with untrustworthiness—a big love lost begins to creep and eat away your heart from the them.

And, one more thing please. Try as much as possible to be straight in all dealings with them. Trust me, they would always love you for that, ‘my dad's no is always no'. On the other hand, go straight to every question, ‘how was the papers?” rather than, “I trust you, junior. One of your friends…someone…said you did well…”
Stop those unnecessary pushy attitudes—teasing.

C'mmon! Death is death. Life is life. Jesus brings life in all he touches. On the other hand, Satan distributes deadly agents such as alcohols. Thus, Is that the good news Jesus wanted for his saints? No. And, its painful to hear that in every year in the US, roughly 5000 people under the age of 21 die from all alcohol—related incident including car crashes, homicides, suicides and other related injuries.

Alcohol: is a liquor that contains alcoholic agent with higher chances of getting you into sin.

Wine: Is a non alcoholic substance when fermented , becomes alcoholic.

Funny enough, this verse has been the basis for so called alcoholic Christians, “if Jesus could turn water to wine…then wine is not a sin…in fact the Bible is filled with instances of wine consumption”

• Jesus did not come to continue the filthy old traditions of men, but to abolish them. For an instance, Genesis to Mathew contains heavy use of wine. But, when Jesus appeared in the scene, all those things became past. And, to back it up, the new testatement books indeed speaks against it, “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.[Romans 14:21].”

• “So, why did Jesus turned water to wine?” Jesus is an agent of no sin, he could've easily remove the alcoholic agent. Or why did you think the governor commented on it? Because it tasted better, sweeter…oh my!! More nourishing than the filthy alcoholic one. Therefore, I quad dare you today to taste that wine of Jesus and stand before crowds to raise his royal banner. His wine is freely available for you today. You don’t need money…only your faith in him will do the magic.

In conclusion, alcoholism has the tendency to separate you from heaven, therefore desist from it with immediate effect.

“Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of
spirit ” – Ecc 4:6(KJV)

A quite soul, is one that is easily penetrated by the colorful rays of Jesus. Thus, liberating every forms of bitterness.
*Quietness brings closeness to God*; *a time to think productively about a situation* ; *recognition of the Holy spirit directives* ; *a time to know yourself* ; *an avenue to kill distractive spirit*; *creation of loving rooms in your heart*; *and, importantly brings inner peace, which kills depression faster.*
Luckily, the inner strength to subdue those routinely hash voices raging in our minds-- whenever we're lost in the storm at our respective spheres of life can only be found in Christ Jesus.
*Methods*:Only Jesus can bring peace into your heart. Don't listen to lies.
*Target*: Stay quiet and listen to the Holy spirit this week.
*How*: With faith pray for the spirit of quietness.
*Confession*: "peace be still in Jesus name"
