I dont know yet who anambra state chose. I just hope they are good people. If there is justice, people will not take laws into their hands. As i said before, the violence is not good. Also government needs to do the right thing. Both youths and government need to do the right thing.


But if i may say, does the commission have teeth, what laws establish it.

Can they convict or are they only allowed to make recommendations.

We need to have commissions that have teeth, that can bite, that can jail people if found guilty.

Or, alternatively, a commision that doesnt report to politicians, but reports to director of public prosecution who then takes d case to court. This is to avoid their recommendations sitting and collecting dust in Wike,s and Obiano,s office

Bro, I wouldn't know those who make up the panel as I don't reside there. But I do know for my state (RIVERS) and to an extent i would say they are of good characters. they are made up of;

delegates from religious bodies
Corporate bodies the private sector women affairs etc

This is Bad. The Governor has set up a judicial panel of enquiry if you have any grieviances against the police you go to them with you evidence. And not taking laws into our hands.

Not everyone learn in the 'convectional' way. most kids learn through fun and play. Few years ago after my waec i went to stay with my uncle pending admission and i discovered his then five year old kid couldn't say the two letter words, states and capital and other things a child his age can read wholeheartedly.

I also found out that his mother made every home lesson she has with him a millitary exercise (different kinds of discipline instrument), verbal abuse, she also went as far as telling his home tutor not to hesitate to flog him. With all this u would expect the child to hate book work.

firstly when i engaged her about it she said she knows whats best for her son and am only a teenager what do i know.

To cut the stories short i took up tutoring the child with just my phone/laptop before convincing her to enrol the child is a better school which which uses the fun way to approach learning.

Today That boy is 9 years he just wrote his FSLC and ever since primary 3 has been taking the first
