I know for Manitoba before you can be invited you have to have a family there. For Saks your job has to be listed on the required NOC. For NOva Scotia, you have to apply as soon as it opens (you know a lot of people are also gunning the site

My advice is to give ielts one more push. You need at least an 8 in Listening. Register with BC again. The result below shows someone who can thrash this thing.

beeodun:
Hi. Pls I just got my Mod Ielts result(annoyingly shocking) LRWS- 7.5,8,7,8.5 at 2nd attempt. I’m 26yrs and have calculated & arrived at 405 alone and 396 with hubby. Frankly,I’m tired as well as pressed for funds. I want to give PNP a trial—must I have someone in this Saskatchewan,Nova Scotia or Manitoba to get their certificate because I’m only aware of a relative in Ontario but I heard theirs is so expensive.

Kindly respond. Thanks.

Your concern should be to get back into the pool and have your nomination along side other info..

I believe u have done ur PCC. Arrange medicals and POF. And visa and RPRF money.

Congratulations! But would any band less than 6.0 been a problem?
Experring this reply

PCC done
Medicals done.
POF almost complete, waiting for alert from you. grin grin
Thanks.
Anything less than 6 will not be a problem but when you know you perfomed well, you will still want to rant.

Its the truth. My writing has always been better with BC.
tresbel:
Bless the Lord with me people... I am free from IELTS. Actually told myself it would be the last whether good or bad.
I had planned not to check my result till evening because my previous three attempts had me crying all day in the office and I end up having a bad day, but anxiety got the best of me.
Test day I got confused during the map section which left me unprepared when the next section began (Matilda n co). I counted 9 questions I wasn't sure of and I gave up and even started planning and gathering docs for Nova Scotia PNP.

1st attempt LRWS: 7.5,7.5,7.5,8 BC
2nd attempt LRWS: 8,7.5,6.5,7 MOD
3rd attempt LRWS: 8,8,6.5,8 MOD
4th attempt LRWS: 9,7.5,7,7.5 BC

Only God could have done it.
I have been a silent reader on this thread and I've learnt so much; I joined cochtrane's webinar for Listening after my first attempt. God bless you sir. I have gotten most of the requirements ready except PCC and medicals.
If you are still on the ielts journey, don't give up. I know it's easy for me to say now, but it's the truth. Pick up from the last try and push forward.
Besides, I think MOD writing is stricter, I think I wrote better essays in my second and third attempts. I ran back to BC since I did well at first attempt even being not so prepared. It's just my opinion though.
Thanks to all the beautiful contributors here; you guys are the best. Plus I enjoy d drama too.

Saskatchewan has said they would start the Expression of Interest system like Manitoba. I dont know why i wasnt interested in their province sef, because till now i find it hard to spell it grin grin

happytbaby:
Lol @ bolded. After checking them out, prepare all the required documents, have them scanned and saved on your system, get evidence of POF ready too so that once Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan open their portal, you apply immediately. Speed is key because people all over the world will be fighting over maybe 300 slots. Also monitor online forums so that you will know in advance of application opening. All will be well.

I cant help but notice that you didnt need to request a remark for your second score cos you needed 8 in listening and it is not likely you get a remark for listening or reading because it is a direct marking but subjective markings like writing and reading are the areas that can give you a remark.

Its unfortunate that you also had a 6.5 reading this time, if not you would have requested for remark.
Modele35:
please my people i need help i need good material for reading and writing

i have written 3 times

My result is out.

LRWS: 8.5 7.5 6.5 7.5

They didnt mark this thing well at all oh, but me i dont have their time. Even i am supposed to get 8 in reading sef, they are now sharing 0.5 on everythiing. I didnt prepare for any other Module except writing and i still get this stupid score.

If not that i have gotten nomination(600 marks), I would have sued them or requested for a remark. For the record I have never gotten 6.5 in writing. My ielts that expired was LRWS: 7.5 8 7.5 8 (I did that with British council) and I'm sure I wrote better in this exam. When I did Academic ielts I had 8 in writing.

Shior. Nansense and ingredients...

In other news, should I wait until i get my paper results before i enter the pool back. Since i have my TRF already. Is there a possibility that the paper result is different from what they uploaded.

Hi guys,
Just saw my test score this morning- L-8.5, Reading-9, Writing-7, Speaking-7. Not really happy about the writing and speaking. Is this score good enough?

Also, for the accountant in the house, I am a chartered accountant (ICAN), and I also have and HND and Bsc in accounting and I am also an MBA holder. My MBA has been assessed positively by WES being my highest qualification. I hold a diploma in IFRS from ACCA . I am thinking of having the diploma assess also since I got it AFTER my MBA so I can claim 2 or more certificate score. Is this possible?

I need all the scores I can get as age is already against me

Thanks guys

And how do I get the second document?
IELTS is your document for english. There is also a french test that needs to be done if you want to claim marks for speaking french.

POST ITA PROCESS

For those who are waiting for ITA, check the following and prepare the necessary documents.

After you receive ITA, once you log in to your Express Entry profile, you will have two buttons
- Continue Application
- Decline Invitation

Note: You will have 60 days to submit your PR application electronically with all supporting documents. 60 days start from the day you get ITA, if you feel that you will not be able to arrange all the documents in 60 days, you can decline the ITA anytime before the expiry of 60 days and you will be back in the pool. In case you decline your ITA, then you will be eligible to be invited again provided you meet the CRS cut-off requirement.

Once you click Continue Application, you will be taken to pages similar to your Express Entry forms that you filled up. This page would have all the information carried forward from your Express Entry profile and additionally you also need to fill up Address History, Personal History and Travel History for each member listed in the application.

DOCUMENT CHECKLIST

Post completion of each section, the system would generate a personal document checklist based on the information submitted by you in the previous pages. A sample document checklist for a family of two (FSW) without any Canadian relatives would look like something below.

FEE PAYMENT

Once you have uploaded the documents, you have the option to make payment and submit your eAPR. Post ITA after clicking Continue, you will be asked whether you want to pay RPRF upfront, in case you have mentioned Yes and later want to modify it, you can do so by going to Modify Family Information which you can find in the menu bar.

Permanent Resident Application Fee: CAD 550 per applicant
Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF): CAD 490 per applicant

You can make payment using credit card and debit cards provided international transactions are allowed on your card. Contact your bank to check the same. MasterCard, Visa and Amex cards are accepted. Ensure that your bank has not put any transaction limit, contact your bank before using your card for payment. In case you do not have suffcient balance or credit limit, you can use your family member's or friend's card as CIC has no restriction on the same.

You will get Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) immediately after you make the payment.

THINGS TO NOTE

Police Certificate - If you already have nomination do not wait for ITA, apply for police certificate soon. For countries that you have already left, in case you do not have the police certificate, initiate the process for the same as well as some countries take time to issue you a police certificate.

Medicals - CIC has a list of empaneled clinics/hospitals where you need to get medical tests done. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx. The following basic tests and checks are carried out (If you have had any or have any medical conditions, you need to let them know and also carry any medical records that you have)
1. Blood
2. Urine
3. Chest X-Ray
4. Eye Sight
5. Blood Pressure
6. Height/Weight
7. Physical examination by physician

You will not be given the results of the tests, the clinic will upload it directly to CIC. You will be given an Acknowledgement Form which you need to upload as proof of medical exam. Please ensure all the information on the Acknowledgment Form is correct as per passport and that the category on your medicals is mentioned as Non-EDE/Worker. If you find any discrepancy, get it corrected then and there itself and get an updated Acknowledgement Form.

Digital Photo - The final frame size of the photo should be at least 35mm x 45mm. The photograph must show a full front view of the head and tops of shoulders. The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm. The physical dimensions in pixels must be at least 420 x 540. The final size of the image should not be less than 60KB. The file should be submitted in JPEG format.

Reference Letter - For previous employers, the letter obtained after you have left is good enough, unless and until you want to get a fresh letter or want to get the letter updated. For current employer as a rule of the thumb, get a fresh letter if the previous one which you got is older than 6 months. For other questions related to reference letter check this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nail-the-challenge-of-getting-reference-letter-from-current-employer-t397796.0.html

ECA, IELTS - There is no separate placeholder for IELTS and WES. So you can upload IELTS and WES along with educational documents.

Proof of Funds (POF) - Get latest and updated POF. Ensure you cover as much as information requested by CIC in the Bank Letter/Bank Certificate.

Letter of Explanation(LOE) - Though this is an optional document, please use it to your advantage to explain anything you feel the officer should know or consider while assessing your application.

provincial nominees(PNP) - If you are a provincial nominee would suggest you to submit copy of nominaton certificate and Schedule 4 (IMM0008_4E) upfront along with LOE. Though these are not asked for when submitting eAPR, later you will be requested to submit Schedule 4.

Statutory Questions - In case you answer 'Yes' to any Statutory Questions, then explain the reason for the same in LOE and also submit Schedule A (IMM5669E) along with LOE. Though Schedule A is not asked for when submitting eAPR, later you will be requested to submit Schedule A.

Document Size & File Format - All documents should be uploaded as PDF not more than 4MB, except for digital photo which should be in JPEG format and not less than 60KB. For each placeholder, it should be one PDF. If you have multiple pages, merge them into one PDF for each placeholder. If the file size exceeds 4MB, scan the documents with scanner settings at 100 dpi or less but ensure that the files are legible. You can also use online tools like Small PDF to compress, merge and split PDFs etc (https://smallpdf.com/).

Help/Instructions - If you have any doubt about the documents that needs to be uploaded, check the help, blue button (Instructions) next to the Upload File button

They dont ask for it directly, all they want is account statements and letters showing funds you claim, but i added payslips for the last six months and my salary account just to authenticate the fact that i really work were i said i did.

The good thing with Manitoba is if they need additional documents you will be informed, better to err on the side of caution though.

Walegy:
Afternoon All, really appreciate everyone here on this forum.
Pls for Manitoba Nomination, do they ask for payslip and if yes, what's the duration of the payslip they asked for,
Is it payslip since the time u accept job offer-present or what?

Get a document (letter of attestation) showing they they have same mother. They don't have to have same father. The stuff is that the name of both parents will show on the letter of attestation.

You can back it up explaining the remarriages grin it will end in praise. To get the letter of attestation done, go to any NPC office. The document is accepted because there was no authentic birth certificate when our parents were born.

Note that you will get the letter of attestation for both your mum and your aunt.

Fadia:
Hello everyone,

Please I’m post ITA and I have an issue that I need opinions on.

When filling my profile I stated that I have an aunt as a “Relative/Family” and who would also be my host. Time to upload documents and I’m seeing that I have to show “Proof of relationship” apart from “Family member proof of status”.

Now here lies the issue, my mum and her sister have different dads and as of now my grandma isn’t married to either of them anymore (I have a third grandpa). How can I show the proof of relationship when my mum and her sister never bore the same last name?

Also, when my grandma was married to my mum’s Dad she was a Muslim but when she married my aunt’s Dad she converted to Christianity and changed her name so her name on their birth certificates (when we eventually find it) isn’t even the same.

My aunt wrote a letter describing the family tree but I don’t know if that would suffice as it’s our word against theirs (VOs).

I want to know how I can go about proving this and if it has any effect on my CRS because I’ve been seeing that people are usually only awarded points for siblings.

Best Ways to Increase CRS
(Improved Qualification
or IELTS Score
or 3+ Years Work Experience in Same NOC- National Occupation Code)

Core Factor Points :

1. Age - upto 110 Points (For Married Upto 100)
(Below 30 Highest Points (30 Should be before AoR stage) )

2. IELTS - upto 136 Points (For Married Upto 128)
(Minimum

Please, can anyone help me out on this POF?
I sold my Land to raise fund for my proof of Fund but the buyer pays in instalment for the period of 6 month's. I hope my letter of explanation will hold water if the landed property document doesn't have C of O? But has other documents.

Secondly, I have some borrowed money in my account to make it up to the POF, can I return the borrowed money after submitting my application with the statement of account?

Please, I need answer to these questions
It is not compulsory to show Cof O. Show receipt of sale and any documents that has to do with the transfer of Land (Make sure a deed of assignment is drawn up by a lawyer) and also attach the title document of the land even if is survey

For your second question, it is better you have the funds available because they could request the documents again e.g if your fixed deposit is for one month and as at the time the VO wants to look in your document that one month has elapsed.
