Have good crs scores both as a single and married individual not traveling with spouse.

But the problem is the aspect of compulsory medical for spouse even if not traveling with spouse.

Kindly advice on the best way to go about it.

The draw date was August 8th 2018. I got a email notification. But l lost my gckey so I couldn't access my account. I finally linked my account to a new gckey but the invitation to apply was not inside. The profile I submitted to enter the pool disappeared. I called IRCC and with my application number it was confirmed orally that I have been issued ITA and was advised to check my account for further instructions. till now no physical ITA just the oral confirmation

Yes, a lot of people, also in NIgeria attest to the same thing, cos Med has not been passed. They just scattered the process. IP1 and IP2 aer handled by different departments so you can be at any stage at any time.

In other news, my appication flew from AOR to IP2 even without MEP. Its like different people are working on different aspect of the stuff. I already saw We are processing your background check and we are reviewing your eligibility at the same time.

You will pay for it at point of submission and after that expect their mail or request for it. For now no onw knows the process but you will be informed so dont bother doing any biometrics before you submit your application.

When they ask "intended occupation", what do they mean B4 I shoot myself in the leg

The Education/ occupation details, was asked number of years of education in total, do they mean the number of years of your highest education or number of years you have been in education all ur life, like from primary, secondary up to date

Then for a child who has not started speaking and you are asked if he is able to communicate in English and or French, do you select "English" or "neither" (since he hasn't started speaking) abeg pardon my confusion

Sharing information now is plagiarism When some people have obviously refused to read for themselves or even research and someone selflessly does that for them it's now plagiarism? Is this intellectual property thread abi visa? What we do here is share information and experiences. We are not manufacturing our own process hence nothing here is original new.

It’s probably just one extra line to indicate source. It’s actually plagiarism not to (by the actual definition of the word) and I’m sure even the original poster didn’t view it as a malicious comment... we truly need to learn to do things properly going into a new country. It was a teachable moment for everyone and I think the lesson should be noted.

What are GCMS notes, and how do you order them?
GCMS (Global Case Management System) is Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC’s) system used to process applications for citizenship and immigration, tourist visas, student visas and visas under any other program. The system contains a detailed record of each applicant’s file, including correspondence from and to IRCC, documents received from the applicant, detailed notes from the officers reviewing the file among others. The GCMS notes are the only accurate way of providing an applicant with the in-depth view of his file on the IRCC system, thus enabling the applicant to be well informed of the status, or take pro-active steps as needed.

The GCMS notes are issued under the Access to Information and Privacy Act (ATIP). ATIP is a federal law and Canadian citizens and/or Permanent residents can get access to information from any government department under this law. If you are not citizen it can be gotten through affiliate bodies ( you have to be careful though)

Since the online IRCC system does not accurately inform as to which stage the application is at. And therefore it is important to keep a track of the application, so that corrective steps can be taken or preparation for an interview can be done. To track your application the only accurate way is through gcms.

Now each time I try to use the Eligibility tool, it tells me I am not eligible.
Please what can I do? My intention was to enter the pool with that score and wait for the next exam I would be writing.

Please kindly advice if maybe there is something I am not doing right.

Express entry profile is not the first thing to try. Start with evaluation of your highest credential and preparation for ielts. Its until you nail this two things before you can even fill express entry profile.
