Once the real protesters and protest organisers have been rounded up and detained, Sowore remains free to come and go as he likes without ever talking of any protest again and in meantime he is playing out his scripted fake opposition to the government.

I read the actual report about the investigation and it clearly implied that the major cause of the incident was unstable approach which is likely referring to weather or strong windy conditions.

The report said alcohol was detected in both pilots and that one other crew member tested positive for THC one of main active components in cannabis.

Report did not say that the level of alcohol in the pilots' bodies were too high for them to operate an aircraft;

In fact in the recommendations the report made to Airpeace alcohol and drugs were not explicitly mentioned it was the devious journalist that insert the words "alcohol and drugs".
There was no where in the press release where it was alleged that there had been a serious breach of aviation safety and professionalism, the journalist had inserted those words themselves.

This is just embarrassing at this point.

It's better that Nigeria allocates military men to each state that requests it. Also deploy specially trained NSCDC and police units as needed by each state.
Creating state police would be ineffective because most policemen never entered the service to start risking their life fighting terrorists, insurgents and bandits.

Police maintain law and order of public, it is not their role to fight localised wars with terrorists and insurgents like Boko , IPOB, ESN etc.

Besides the cons of state police is rogue governors using them to oppress people. I can imagine a governor like Soludo creating a police force made up of IPOB ESN terrorists that are presently in his Agunechemba security outfit.

The role of police is more about maintaining law and order of the public. It is not the role of police to be fighting terrorism and insurgency.
State police is not the solution for terrorism and banditry.
