lol. I didn't even know Shakiratuu has been banned or that shakiratuu is your alternate moniker till now. I only saw that moniker 1st time this morning and didn't even give much thought to her posts or personalty behind the moniker.

I dont have sacred cows and don't need to ask another mod to ban someone that breaks the rules, that's ridiculous. Even if other moderators and Seun break the rules in my section I will ban them.

Seriously, most times I ignore personal insults, I rarely ban poster for insulting me until the poster becomes a nuisance, and for the sake/health of the forum I will have no choice than to ban him/her.

Obiagelli: my own complain is rossike or whatever is moniker is, the dude goes about insulting every and anybody, the last time he insulted me, i reported him and his post was hidden, imagine he called me a slut and that was his first post on that thread. I don't know if he has immunity but the next he insults me, i definitely will be getting my first ban because i will unleash helllll.

His post was not just hidden, he was banned. You don't need to unleash hell, just keep reporting him and others who insult you. The more he keeps repeating the same offence, the longer his ban, and if he uses another moniker while serving ban with the main one, please report it, you can be sure the alternate moniker will be banned for longer.

Am going through this length of explanation not just for you but for many who feel the same way you feel. It doesn't matter if Afam doesn't love you the same way I love you and wish to steal you from Rhino your husband What is important is for you to do the right thing and NO ONE can intimidate or harass you. Even if Afam doesn't like you, he cannot just ban you if you don't break any rule, and he is duty bound to attend to your report/complaint even if he despises you.

So, keep to your words of not responding an insult for an insult, report any insults you find around and see us (including Afam) making sure justice is served. Because basically, we (the moderators) are Nairaland servants not Nairaland Lords. We are only appear to look like "Lords" to law breakers.

Demdem is one of the posters here that is always involved in heated political debates, but knows how to do his things within the rules. Love him or hate him/his opinions, no one can do anything to him cos he is always within rules. Many posters have been banned because of personal insults directed at him and he remains free.

Berem, while not holding brief for Afam, I know how many times I have been on a thread reading/cleaning yet missed some insulting posts. We are are humans and am assuming the omissions were not deliberate. At least give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides Afam is more involved with the debates here, he might be too involved with the debate on the thread to notice the insults.

The only evidence you have against us is if you report an insultive post here and/or using the report to moderators button and we fail to do anything about it hours after. This is the reason I advised you to report and not assume we saw it because we were on the thread.

berem: For the first time I agree with you. After coming back from a one week ban for replying an insult, I have learned to ignore insults thrown at me. When I ignore, those who insult me,they eventually look like fools. The trick works well.

It works all the time, you make the one that insulted you feel like a fool and lesser than you.

There are several times I get insulted on a thread and he is visibly there seeing the insults. He does nothing about it not until you show up. OAM4J is quite busy and might not show up on time. We are all human and we are prone to reaction. Such insults can be annoying and there's every tendency to reply.

Sometimes we are online but unaware of the insults, considering the volume of posts made every minute in this section, it's sometimes difficult to keep up. All we need is for you to report the insult here or using the report button. You can be sure no matter what that justice will be served at the end of the day.

I have warned/advised you many times, but you just cant do without throwing insults yourself. What is so difficult in reporting an insult without 1st replying? It doesn't make you a lesser human if you ignore an insult and only report, that way moderators can effectively handle your report/complaint. But you make a mess of your report after you have responded (even with a lesser insult), and afterwards you will blame sexkillz for witch-hunting.

You are getting it wrong. It didn't become, it was never in existence before it was created. The league won in 1992 continued as Championship League in 1993 while a New League called English Premiership was created. Agreed the teams from the old league were allowed to graduate into premiership League but not to continue chasing the old trophy which was now being chased in Championship League but to compete for a brand NEW Trophy and a brand NEW league title.
