Well u can't compare the US and Nigeria Obviously...
They gat the money and Good leaders
And come to think of It Despite the "Kitting" and Stuffs 18yrs in Afghanistan and still.......
Up to 14 Security operatives where killed in Afghanistan last week immediately after the ceasefire.
Also remember the Hospital seige
Now they want to negotiate with the Taliban
Exchanging Prisoners...
Yes we need the kits but if that's what u put your hope on Guy you'll die grin
Look at the Chadians Those guys with Less kitting they are Very good
grin

My Brother.... I love it whenever I see a well kitted Force. We generally believe that our Army are good, let's compliment it with good kitting.

Ah, when it comes to a major land warfare, no matter how inprofessional our Atmy maynlook, they are always the most formidabble force we have..
No doubt, but they need to be protected and well kitted.

Guy I get your point but your pics doesn't prove it.
These are special forces u posted they are small unit so I'll say it's kinda easier to maintain their kitting unlike a whole infantry of 3000 soilders or more deployed to the Desert / forest for years dude it's never going to be easy providing them kits regularly but it's possible. So I blame the Top greedy officers
I'm in Delta State I've seen troops of Op Delta Safe And the way you describe them isn't the way they look.
They are infantry soilders of 3 battalion warri
And they got every kit including knee pads and Gloves
grin

How many Years have American Military being in Afghanistan? Iraq?! Do they lack military Gears? Kits?!

Let's call Spade a Spade pls. NA Leadership should stop enriching their Purses at the Expense of their Personnel.

Look at the first and middle soldier; what about the top ?
We can’t say he was not issued with complete wear and here is on duty without it grin cheesy grin
grin

NA is better addressed as Federal Vigilante Group. I've seen many of their Clips on Twitter, to be honest nothing wow with their tactical Discipline and Kits.

At times, you do ask yourself if they are trained at all?! Compare them to NAF recently deploy to tackle Bandits, then you would wonder what's wrong with NA Leadership.

NAF Kits alone would scare off those malnourished Twerps. I wish NAF and SBS can be deployed to replace NA completely in the ongoing Battles, it won't take long to wipe out those bunch of Twits.

Note: last 2 Pics (SBS).

Abeg oo, I am above tribal sentiment. I do not harbour any form of hate towards anybody at all on the basis of tribe.

Contrary to your belief, I simply posted that topic here that day because I wanted us to discuss the war here because I believed this was the most intellectually advanced group here on nairaland capable of discussing the civil war here without emotions running high.

Today, I made that point to buttress my point about the suffering of the jews and how hatred can be healed with time. It wasn't to elicit controversial emotions.
How did you arrive at the below, and what prompts it?! Who were the fellow Nigerians that hated Igbo?!

Let's forget it for peace sake. No need to derail this Thread Bruh.

For instance, in the early 50s and 60s. Other fellow Nigerians hated the igbos because of their success in commerce and finance.

What he said is uncalled for, and shouldn't have come from Someone like him. He's one of the intelligent Figures as far as this Section is concerned.

Cutting off middlemen in all this project is the game changer.

Nigeria x Germany = Siemens deals
Nigeria x USA = Military hardware
Nigeria x Russia = Ajaokuta steel revitalization
Nigeria x China = Infrastructure
Nigeria x Morocco = Fertilizers revitalization.

No more middlemen shenanigans.

I hear the President has directed Fin Min to release the 15% counterpart funding for the Siemens power deal. The more the generation and distribution infrastructure are improved upon, the more power will improve.

You're right. Northerners are making it from what you mentioned, especially through Exportations.

Those Alhajis are cashing out big time on Grains like Sorghum, Millets and so on. As far as Southerners dey consume Beers, Northerners must cash out.

Aba Shoemakers need leathers to produce Shoes, thus Northerners must cash out. Southerners dey consume Beef well well, esp South-west.

I totally agree with the part in bold

Any govt that can give us stable power deserves 5 terms with zero opposition. If you know what lack of power is costing the country
If the Deal as highlighted by Ajuri of a Guy is legit, I believe the Problem will become a History soon.

This is Government to Government Business. No Middle-men involved and it's being handled solely by Siemens.

Ajuri Ngelale. Nigeria needs bright young men like him in the corridors of power. Not recycling old cargoes with analog, anachronistic mindset.

In the near future, Nigeria can benefit from the brilliance and expertise of disporans like oga Ibime, Raumdeuter, and co.

A country that regularly loses her bright, young men to greener pastures has a bleak future.

It all boils down to having the right leadership.

Surely, they're. That was why I watched it till the very end, especially the fact German company Siemens will be involved in the power projects.

Whites handle this kind of things much better and more transparently than our brothers down here. If it's the usual procedure — leaving things in the hands of Nigerians contractors (politicians) with their cronies and relatives, then we would surely hear another tale, where a snake has swallowed humongous amounts of funds meant for projects.

Hopefully, things will be better this time around.

LMAO...... Did you watch the Clip?! He spoke with too much Confidence Bro. Honestly I don't wanna believe in everything he reeled out, but too good to ignore.

Warri Port Project, Gas Pipelines Project and Dry Inland Port Project in Ibadan really caught my attention. Rail Projects also seem to be possible to achieve by this Administration.

I hope this Ajuri Dude is credible and indeed informative, even though he's an Adviser to the President, as Larride.

Quite a lengthy presentation.

If Buhari's government can achieve most of the things this young man reeled out, his administration will become the best in Nigeria's history (arguably).

The problem with Nigerian leaders has always been been implementation. Each of the past administrations also had great ideas.

But implementing most of them was rocket science.

By the way, what's the name of the brilliant young man? It seems he used a teleprompter in the presentation.
He gave timelines for the Projects Implementation, especially Power Distribution from 2.5 to 7 (December 2021) and power Generation to 11 (December 2023).
Do you think the Timelines are plausible?!
