United ain't just a Club, a fantastic Club, rather a Giant Club. United ain't a Club to litter Bench with Potentials, rather established Players. We can't be swayed with the Performance of McTominay against a League 2 Club, coz Herrera also had a fantastic Game with a Goal to show for it. We still need Players like Mata and Herrera in the Club. I wouldn't mind Darmian, Fellaini leaving but the Spaniards are still needed in the Team. |
Alexis gonna be terrific playing behind the Striker. He's very sharp in turning, he's strong and pacy, and has good Feet to bang Goals outside the Box. I think JM experimentally tried out Lingard on the RW, and he didn't miss the Opportunity. He scored his Goal from the right Side by taking the Shot superbly. It will be a big Menace for any Team's Defence to stop the quartet of Martial (LW) Alexis (SS/AM), Lingard(RW) and Lukaku (ST), cos they all have one thing in Common...... PACE. I'm expecting the quartet to start the Spurs Game, and hopefully do a fantastic Job for this giant Club. |
"I think, all of sudden, it is funny how the season goes, but, at the moment, pretty much most of the squad is fit. Hopefully that stays the same because this is the time where things really kick into gear. "You need as many options as fit as you can as the games will be coming thick and fast. It is a good sign as this is the business end of the season, when you want to be in with a shout. We are looking good at the moment." - MICHAEL CARRICK |
"He [Alexis] is not bad, is he? Not bad for a little man. He is going to be a terrific player, he is a proper Man United player, and it's great to have him here. "He is so exciting and so dynamic. He's always looking to create opportunities, to play forward and the fans are going to enjoy watching him, hopefully we will enjoy playing with him.” - MICHAEL CARRICK |
“I saw so many similarities in their games, and I always believed that Jesse was the English Andres Iniesta. "Like Iniesta, he finds these pockets of space, he is always on the move and has very good feet. "The only thing missing until recently was goals, but now Jesse is scoring important goals too.” - RENE MEULENSTEEN |
"He [Gomez] wanted to score the goal! But it's normal. It's nice and good for him. So, so young. "Last year, he had his debut and he's been training with us now and again. He had this feeling of being in the first team and immediately had confidence and quality. I'm happy for the kid." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"It's fantastic to have Michael Carrick back. It's really sad when you think, in May, his career is going to end as a player. But it's a fantastic assistant-coach I am going to have, I believe. "I want to help him be better and better but it's a pity to lose a player that does everything well on the pitch." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"I was impressed with his [Alexis's] attitude and I think I did my job well in the fact that I told the players that they should be ready [for a tough game] and never react. At times in these type of games, the top players lose their heads, that balance and they are punished. "I understand the referee's decision not to show the red card [for Nathan Smith's challenge on Alexis] because this is a special day and 10 against 11 in that moment of the game, it is probably game over so I understand his decision. But we love the FA Cup, we love to come to these stadiums, but the players do need a little bit of protection. "The good thing with Alexis is, he is a tough guy, he has a good mentality and I am happy with everything he did. He was keen to play. I knew that was going to be difficult, it wasn’t going to be an easy one for him. But I am happy with his performance today." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"I think he [Alexis] needed to play. He didn’t play for Arsenal the last two or three games and his training was not good because half of his body was in the Emirates and half in Manchester, so you don’t train well. "He needed to train well like he did that and he needed to play. I was not sure about 90 minutes, I wanted to play him for 60, 70 or 75 and that was good because people start to understand his game better and he can understand his team-mates too." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"I am very happy. I think it’s no surprise for anyone after three years in the Premier League, playing every week, so everyone knows what Alexis is. He is the kind of player you buy and you don’t think about adaptation in relation to English football, so [it's] no surprise for us. "He is a fantastic player and he showed that for three years and for the past three days when he was training for us, so he's an amazing addition for us. Everyone is happy that he has come. Good players want good players and Alexis is a fantastic player for us. "The question is always which one is going to be out? Where is he going to play? It’s not about that for us. For us, it is the fact that we have a fantastic group of attacking players and he is another one with a bit more maturity, and a bit of experience. He will bring us extra maturity and class. I am really pleased with him." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"We had to work very hard, it's not easy to come here. The passion they put in for every ball made it tricky but we took it very seriously. "Alexis Sanchez can play everywhere, he's fantastic. The attitude he shows, he fights for every ball. He's a star and it's amazing to have him with us. This is a team and today we did it well." - ANDER HERRERA |
“Alexis Sanchez is a fantastic addition, everyone is happy that he comes. Good players want good players. The question is always which one is going to be left out, it is not about that for us. “We have a fantastic group of attacking players and he is another one with more maturity and experience. His choice for the second goal is a choice that a player like Marcus Rashford is too nervous to make that kind of decision. He brings maturity and class.” - JOSE MOURINHO |
pharod:Gomez thrives in the middle than on the Wing. He played on the Wing, because McTominay has occupied the middle already. |
nezzar:Rojo not Gomez! |
Lingard gonna play well on the Right Wing than Mata. I hope to see him play there against Spurs, Sanchez in the Middle and Martial on the Left Wing. Nice win to celebrate JM's 55th Birthday and 100th Appearance as a United Manager. |
Lukaku baawo?! |
Herrera!!!! |
chrisley024:Seriously he's a big Fool, and it seems no Club really bids for him, coz I expect him to have got a Suitor by now! I really want him sold for anything to any Club in any League. |
I think United should swap Darmian with Bellerin. |
See mumu Defence! Nice one Rashford!!! |
Alexis is READY!!!
|
dopeJemi:Yes...... Super Sport 3 I guess. |
