"Every competition is important for me. Every match is important for me. It doesn't really matter which competition it is but Wembley is Wembley.

"Wembley has, for professionals with passion for football, a special meaning and a special feeling. Of course, I'm happy to be there and happy to bring many thousands of our fans. I think also, for them, this is something that they always remember - going to Wembley."

"They [Hull] were a very good team in both matches but we have more power. We were the best team. We could have scored lots of goals in the first match and, today, as I was saying, the game was under control so we deserve to be in the final.

"I congratulate my players but I don’t want to analyse the performance too much."

"It's another difficult game against Wigan. They didn't play, they are fresh, preparing and will be ready with special motivation for Warren [Joyce] and his players.

"Now we go home, it'll take three hours to arrive, and have to prepare again. We will change some players and give some opportunities, some fresh legs to the team and, hopefully, we can do it."

We didn't have a bad Game! I just re-watched the Match and I think we would have even won it.

However the most important is; playing Fis at Wembley, which the Team honorably achieved.

Haterz couldn't celebrate the Loss cos it's shameful to do so! LOL!

"I think Jose is finding solutions now," the Scot told BBC Sport. "There was a period earlier in the season when he wasn't getting the decisions and his emotions boiled over.

"You see him now - he is calm and in control. That is the obvious observation I am making of the team now. The team is mirroring its manager.

"On Saturday at Stoke, they played to the last kick of the ball. They never gave in and got their rewards to take something from the game with that great Wayne Rooney goal.

"And did you see what he did? Ran to the halfway line. No celebration. Pointed to the ball as if to say 'get it, we are going to win this'. That is exactly the spirit Jose has created.

"You can see he has got to grips with the club. The team is playing really well and he has been very unlucky. He has had six 1-1 draws and in every game he has battered the opposition.

"If they hadn't had all these draws, they would be there challenging Chelsea. That is the unfortunate part but he is going to have to live with that."

It's really not a bad news to me! Ivory Coast Players are bunch of Fools! Many of them are simply on the Pitch to showcase their Talents - playing as if they are exhibiting Individual Talents.

It was obvious most of them ain't playing with passion and love for their Country, rather to catch the Attentions of the Scouts in the Stand..... probably from China!

Hi everyone,

We’re starting a special week. A different one, for we have two games but neither of them is a Premier League fixture. We have the EFL Cup first, and then the FA Cup. Two different challenges that we face with the same goal in our minds: winning both of them.

I look back and I see that we’ve been undefeated for 17 consecutive games. Most of them have been good wins that made us happy, although we’ve also got several draws that were not so easy to take.

It happened on Saturday at Stoke, where we added one point at the end thanks to a great free-kick goal from Wayne Rooney. I want to congratulate Wayne once again. He’s become the top goalscorer in the history of the club and I’m so happy for him. I’m sure that he will keep scoring many more goals and improving his amazing stats.

However, the game left me with a bitter taste. Firstly, we didn’t win. We created chances to get the three points and it makes us mad to see that the ball just doesn’t go in. It’s especially frustrating when you are so unlucky as to score an own goal, when you’re trying precisely to avoid that.

Personally, I don’t remember when was the last time that I scored an own goal; in fact I believe this is the first one. I know it goes with the territory but when it happens to you it hurts. Anyway, this is football and, as always, we have to stay determined and motivated, and carry on.

I’m signing off now. Thank you very much for all the loving messages that you have sent to me, especially after Saturday’s game. Have a nice week.

Hugs,

Juan

"I'm committed,"I have been at the club for a long time.

"Football is a strange game. Anything can happen and things change very quickly but I am happy at Manchester United.

"I am in a happy place, a good moment personally, so I think I have a year, with an option year to go. We will see what happens and what happens after that.

"It is obviously a great achievement, and it is a moment in my career which I am extremely proud of.

"It is something which has built up over the years and it has happened, I am delighted, and it is something that will stick with me forever.

"I am really pleased, proud and I would like to thank everyone for their messages over the last 24 hours, they have been great and I appreciate it."

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:33am On Jan 23, 2017
He's [Rooney] a complete player. Off the field he's a real leader and on the field he's just complete.

"He helps his team-mates well and has that big quality - he knows how to score goals, knows how to assist.

"But he works very hard, he's got a good attitude and spirit. Everybody knows what Wayne is. But this country has to appreciate him.

"I don't see any other strikers like him today. Give me some names. Tell me. And still you're not happy."

- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:30am On Jan 23, 2017
"The younger players now have to understand that the media are a massive part of football.

"I have seen first-hand since becoming captain of United and England, players have to realise that the media has a huge influence on the game, and especially on the young England players, they are the ones who have to go out and perform under the huge pressures.

"It is tough and I feel it is sometimes unfair, sometimes it is right, so the one thing, for me, that should happen - at this moment in time there is a huge gap between the media and the players.

"I think the quicker both media and the players need to come together and meet in the middle, the better it will be for English football."

- Wayne Rooney
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:28am On Jan 23, 2017
"I think he [Rooney] still has more to give us, but you reach a certain level in his career when it is up to him.

"Could anyone be critical with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] last summer if he decided to go to China or the US? Could anyone be critical with one guy with such an amazing career? No, and I think with Wayne it is the same. He owns his life, he owns his career. It's him, his family's and his decision.

"I don't like to be critical of players who decide to go to China. It's their life, it's their organisation of their life, their organisation of their career. The money is huge, the experience can also be very interesting.

"I know some of my colleagues think they are more important than they are and think they can interfere in the lives of other people, but I'm not that sort of guy. But in Wayne's case, I have no idea. He never mentioned anything to me.

"The future belongs to him and what he wants from his career, the way he wants to end it and enjoy this last part of his career belongs to him."

I have never been a fan of huffing the ball up instead of putting it on the ground hence my reason for saying they were poor. Valencia alone attempted almost 15 crosses if not more whereas they can play among themselves with the ball on the ground and hence create better goal scoring chances. Imagine crossing against a team like Stoke that feed off balls in the air.

A team that goes route 1 early in the game is anti football to me.
