BARAJ92: We could blame Ten haag for all the wrongs of the club but how do we expect the coach to cope when his 1st choice defenders Martinez is injured and Varane is out of form, his Prefer midfielder Casemiro is in injure and eriksen out, manoo injured pre season, Mount unfit, Nw GK not performing, Rushford out of form. How do any reasonable fellow expect a coach to predict all this happening.
Ten Haag does not rate Maguire or Mctominay, 2 players he actively look to sell during the transfer window, both did not even feature in early matches in the season to show how he had low regard for them. ..............LOL! |

Amedino99: na our way na. We tend to give local coaches less grace than the foreign one. I wonder if JPes is a Nigerian.......LOL! See silly excuses some posted to defend the players and the coach? Another dude dropped highly unreasonable defense that, perhaps they were affected coz the match was played on Thursday...LMFAO! |

Mujtahida: This is the measured response that is appropriate now when we call for local coaches to be appointed. No need glorifying them. Problem is; unnecessary accusations would be flying up and down if our dudes' favourites ain't invited. We are too quick to judge local coaches, calling them names and accusing them falsely but if na Oyinbo, dem pure. LOL! |

chrisooblog: Don't mind him the yeye man. His strategy was probably just throw attacking players on the pitch and hope something happens without thinking of balance or team structure.
Equivalent of throwing pepper, rice, chicken and other ingredients expecting it to magically turn to jollof rice. .....I thought he deserves second chance, at least to lead us to AFCON but at this jincture, I won't mind his contract terminated. He should play 4 - 3 - 3 formation or fvck off! |

mostob: He is somewhat right. Frankly speaking, we no suppose dey struggle against teams like Lesotho. Check scores of other big football countries like Egypt, they destroyed their opponents mercilessly. Our boys perhaps thought just a training match, passing balls around like rookíes. |

Mujtahida: Then when Amunike loses one match, we will call for his sack, then hire a washed out, journeyman oyibo coach who will dull our eyes with dreary football, then we will cry for an indigenous coach to be appointed and then the circle continues.
I never supported Eguavoen's sack. If we had let him continue, I believe he would have learnt some lessons.
Black man, we are always magical in our thinking. We want results but not ready to follow the processes that leads to success. Apt. |

charlesemeka85: Gospel truth The Poster is right. We keep adding fws like we can play more than 2 together at a time. Iheanacho has no reason playing on the wing, but that empty-headed coach just wanna play his stars at all cost. I can't ever imagine a combo of Onyeka and Iwobi as midlfiled pivot in a 4-4-2 formation. What that nigga is smoking? Can't believe I was supporting him before the game. |

It's enough to point the issues because some of the "way forward" y'all put out here is worse than the NFF y'all want to crucify. Perhaps Sunday Oliseh must be stvpid to assume home-based players could do the job too?! LOL!

I agree JPes is below average and he obviously has nothing to offer. I will rather have SiaOne as our Coach than that portuguese Eguavoen.
We also need to stop fooling ourselves, most of the players too are overrated. If indeed our players are top-class, nothing would stopped them from pummeling a fuckin Lesotho even without a Coach.
Ffs! These Players are getting trained and managed by foreigners at their respective clubs! I couldn't watch beyond first half coz I didn't see a team playing to score, rather a team entertaining their selves with useless passes like nothing is at stake!
If we don't want to miss out again at next world cup, JPes must go and large number of players need to be replaced.
Give local lads chance to prove their selves. We have seen enough of foreign based and nothing is spectacular. Last time we won an AFCON, its made by local Coach and local Players. |

I like visiting this thread anytime list of invited players is released. It always so entertaining coz you would definitely see one or two members nagging and cussing bitterly. Last time Collins ain't invited, some Dudes called for JPes head, but funnily some are now questioning while he is invited when some players can play the position. Sadiq Umar didn't play well to be honest, but we should understand this is Nigeria. Do you think its really easy to maintain your sanity as a Nigeria Leader?! The other time no Northerner made the list, there was uproar in the North, in fact some Northerners called for boycotting of Super Eagles Matches. Protest letters were sent like flood to NFF Glass House. Sadiq Umar is starboy of North, hence his inclusion, though sentimental but justifiable. We need to pity our coaches, we ain't in their shoes hence we wouldn't know where and how its pinching. Regarding thin midlfiled, I do not expect any argument on this again. JPes favours 4-4-2 formation. He prefers playing with 2 midfleders and 4 attackers, thus he always invite large number of Attackers compare to Midfielders. Tella, Iheanacho and Boniface can even play 10. Pls let's allow Jpes breathes, we are choking him too much. |
