Streetinvestor2:And what if the Q3 results are fanstastic as expected? |
Aradel is falling like a pack of cards. Jijo investors are taking their profits, and who would blame them? If I also bought at 408 and put 10 million, I'd be happy to sell off at 22 million Naira or so. We long-term investors stand strong. No shaking! |
Mpeace:Yes but it has reached 805 before. I see it approaching the 1000 Naira mark before the end of the year. |
If implemented the way it is explained here. I will run from the NGX.

|
12.1 Billion Naira worth of Aradel stock bought at 590 Naira! I am beyond convinced that some investors are manipulating this stock to keep the price from appreciating, thereby chasing smaller investors like us out of the market. Now it's going to fall further today. There is God o! |
Mpeace:Yep. Its now trading at 561 Naira. Let's hope this is the start of a sustained bullish run ahead of the Q3 result. |
Aradel is finally rallying. I hope the volumes will be enough to push the closing share price. If it breaks the 550 ceiling today, I will be optimistic of a sustained bullish run. |
Aradel is renewing its $1.2 billion gas deal with NLNG https://www.aradel.com/aradel-holdings-plc-renews-contractual-commitment-to-supply-gas-to-nlng/ Not that it would have any effect on their stock price, though. |
Pennystockwarri:ROYALEX on full bid. Zero offers! |
henrolevra:Hmnnnn Aradel? I have lost millions, and it's not even wise to sell at this point. It's my biggest miscalculation on the NGX. We can't always win. We get some right and some wrong. |
Joyful365:Even on their website, you will see stuff like "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet...." in places where real information should be. I am shocked. I thought they hold a lot of promise as pioneers of fibre internet in Nigeria. I guess I am wrong. |
KarlTom:Someone should inform Legend Internet that they are now a publicly listed company and should publish their Q2 FY results, |
emmanuelewumi:I never knew this was a possibility. Thanks |
kintus:You are right. It's always a challenge balancing long-term focus(investor) and short-term gain(trading). I am experiencing the same thing with Aradel, where I have a substantial sum tied down without capital appreciation. I keep increasing my investment in the hope of averaging out my brek-even price, but seeing what is going on in the insurance sector, I feel like a fool now. |
mikeapollo:So, you would favour a welfarist system that eventually impoverishes the State, like in Venezuela? I wish Hugo Chavez is alive to see the fallout of his welfarism. The current government in Nigeria is doing well with the reforms. The attendant human suffering is sad, but that's the price to pay. I wish, thoguh, that lavishness and corruption in the corridors of power are curtailed. That's my main grouse ATM. |
hallysonia:Not really. DangSugar is solid. As soon as they pay off their debts, the profits will soar. |
Jaakay:CILeasing, possibly because of their new foray into Ghana. I dont know about Chams. |
MTN is dropping due to profit-taking. An opportunity to jump in. Transpower is in a free fall. I have never been a huge fan of Elumelu's business model. Has anyone seen Legend Internet's Q2 results? |
Payunsin:The result isn't fantastic, and the dividend is too miniscule. I am more wary of Transpower, which has seemingly returned significant revenue despite challenges in the power sector, yet the stock remains stagnant. |
The debt is much, plus a Negative Operating Cash Flow: -₦6.25B (vs. -₦11.50B in H1 2024) – Due to working capital pressures (inventory/receivables) is scary. . Fred2020: |
Transpower stocks are stuck at 288 Naira. I am surprised they have reported increased revenue and profits despite the harsh Nigerian power sector environment. I guess its because investors are wary of the sector and are not after the stock. sterlingD: |
A real headscratcher. Does it mean the actual price of this stock is around 400 Naira?
|
Aradel is in free fall. It may be under 500 Naira by midweek. ![]() |
But he is right. Aradel just seems to always have more shares on offer than bids. I wonder who is selling, seeing as it entered NGX at 709 Naira and is now trading at 529 Naira. Even if you bought at 410(its lowest 52-week value), I doubt if you would have enough capital appreciation to be taking profits for such a long time. I suspect it may be those with substantial quantities of the shares prior to the NGX listing. Its tough to watch other stocks gliding while your money is stuck in Aradel and Transpower |
What's up with Aradel? Very good financial results, sitting on huge assets, including the part-acquisition of Shell Petroleum Development Nigeria, yet the stock hardly appreciates! |
Hello, Please anybody planning to come to Siena should reach me personally. I need someone to help me bring my mobile phone ONLY. |

smithsydny:Please does anyone have a valid phone number for VFS in Abuja? I am in Minna Niger state and need to be sure I have all they require before I set out. The numbers listed on the website are not going through |
Hello mates. Please I have an urgent enquiry. Does the Abuja Embassy issue visas? I am going for an Advanced masters starting in June. I have done legalization and have my dov from Abuja embassy, although the oyinbo man there told me they just did it for me as a favor as they usually refer everyone to Lagos. I have been told by the school to proceed to apply for a visa, but confused if it is Lag or Abj |
Chinuaj:You Need to contact Mr. Oluga. He is the embassy's certified translator. He is around that Wuse 1, close to Shagari Mosque. Unfortunately I couldn't locate his number anymore |
