You mean you couldn’t be bothered to even try and verify what you are sharing.

Whatever is passed to you, you pass it out like that.

Garbage in Garbage out.

The Obaseki family is very unpopular in the state, history dating back to previous Oba's and their role in betraying the kingdom...old history, but man's been standing on egg shells before he started his administration.

Then there was the betrayal of the Khaki man, which brought back old yarns of we told you these guys were betrayals. Coupled with APC/Khaki man being popular, there's lots of people that would never see good in anything he does.

Also, there's deliberate sabotage from the APC, most of the roads leading into the state are a mess, and the federal roads within the state have as well been abandoned. Nobody cares what's federal road or not, road sha bad and na governor go chop blame.

And there's the fact that his style of governance is generally not conventional, instead of focusing on on shiny projects like flyovers and airports, he's focused more on those that have better ROI ...at least that's what they say.

I know he's been good with salaries and pension, my mum is a retired government worker and she's had no reason to complain. Also, government work spaces in the state are like you're regular tech company works space...those are the ones I can attest to personally.

Just 3 season sha.

Them try for the series.

My rating can't be objective, since I wasn't there for most of his tenure.

There's however two schools of thought on his performance as governor though, one that says the state is shit cause of bad roads (typical Nigerian metric to judge governance, which in his defence he says the roads they complain about are mostly federal roads), and the second school of thought that believes he's approaching governance in a ways that's less typical but more beneficial... investing and partnering in investment in tech hubs, a modular refinery, grain processing plants, the civil service, renovation of existing structures, and what not...things that have better ROI than 12 flyovers and unnecessary legacy projects.

I'm not even a big fan of the turn by turn thing they're proposing cause state basically lost 8 years with it's Lucky Igbinedion and the candidates I'm seeing from Edo Central aren't exactly impressive, mostly those guys that have been running since forever looking to get the nod since it's likely to go that way.

I want to hope Obaseki has something planned regarding succession. He's not a very popular governor, for many reasons, so not sure how him influencing his successor would work, but I'd have preferred whatever successor Obaseki picks.

Let's just see how it goes sha...

I trust Tinubu to compensate her. If there's anyone that knows how to play politics in Nigeria, is Tinubu.

Tinubu was born to be a politician.

Philip Shaibu is playing victim. I personally don't want him as governor, guess this drama is prequel to him making a return to the APC to run there.

OkpaNsukkaisBae:
