Okay.

I can pick beans, peel yam (not very well, though), I can also try to put food down from the fire. Oh, I can slice bread excellently well, and I am just learning how to cook spaghetti. I will be perfect in it on my fifth trial, I promise you. 😪
grin

You don try sef. Picking beans is enough, I can cook it well. You'll be taking care of breakfast, I'll be handling dinner.

the obidient movement officially has their Q and they are being even more mindfucked than the MAGA movement

one week one nonsense conspiracy theory for the base to run wild on

two weeks ago spy3.60 was telling us confam gist that it was actually a bolanale hamedat Tinubu that schooled in chicago who died and had her identity stolen

now we have this piece of ridiculousness.

it will be noted that we no longer have inspector hundeyin recycling old 'investigations' - rather these new stories begin and die in someones fever dream.

as it is , i could start some ridiculous rumour thing right here on NL that they would desperately latch onto

slowly as more and more members of the movement inevitably peel off - we will be left with the hard core of malignant psychotics who substitute their schizophrenia for reality.
grin

.....LMFAO! Movement will finally be under full control of E-Bandits as that Poster of nonsense.

I have always known that Hajj was subsidised.

I know those selected used to pay money which is lesser, compared to if they wanted to go on their own.

But since i have no personal knowledge on it, I kept quiet to learn from others.

I never said it was sponsorship at any point here.
Yes, you never said so.

You still do not understand the post yet.

NAHCON allocates seats to states.
States pay the equivalent amount to NAHCON
States now collect that money from individuals that they allocate the seats to.

I can't see any investment here.
....alright. i agree it is not an investment, at least you've pointed out it is not sponsorship either coz Board will get their money back.

Your post was clear. You are the one misinterpreting it

This is a deposit. You can see the "as part of the state’s 2023 Hajj fares"

If we use your math, then there is a balance of about 1 billion to be paid

So how is this an investment?
grin

.... how much is the remaining Balance? And is it sponsorship as we are/were made to believe?

The board needs to be dissolved. People should foot the cost of pilgrimages themselves.

We’ve not even talked about how scarce forex is handed out to these “pilgrims” at official rates who quickly round trip it on the black market and make a killing. That’s how Alhaji Dan Dogo blew up in Kaduna.

I know these things because I’ve seen beneficiaries first hand in my time working as a factory hand in Hausawa.
I agree with you. Whoever wants to go for pilgrimage should do so on his/her own. At least some travel Agencies in the Country already keyed into it.

I don't know what he's on about. A number of states in Nigeria sponsor Muslims to hajj annually free of charge. I personally know Muslim relatives and friends that benefitted from such schemes.

You know bruh. You really know. The update is misleading but lots of you quickly jump on it.

Yes, some States do sponsor people to Mecca and Jerusalem. Let me make myself clear, I am not in support of it.

Even if it was ” investment” as it was termed, it still not smart. Just not smart. There’s one million things that are better to do with the interest from that capital outlay.

The government is actually losing money here, Oasis. Think about it.
Its an Investment made by the board. I believe that is the reason the board is created..

1,225 seats multiply by ₦2.9m is equal to ₦3.5b+. Jigawa invest the money not sponsoring anyone to Hajj.
