PoliticsSecret Over Jonathan's Rumour To Sack Inec Chairman, Attahiru Jega Revealed by ObeyaFriday(op): 11:54pm On Feb 15, 2015
Latest in the air from a reliable source this night has hit SUCCESSBASE NIGERIA news desk. The rumour which said, "Jonathan said he would sack the chairman of Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC, prof. Attahiru Jega" which was shamefully denied by the said President during the presidential media chat held on Wednesday, 11 February, 2015 has been confirmed to be true and planned.

A source tells SUCCESSBASE NIGERIA reporter this night that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has planned every possible means to make sure that as the chairman of Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC, Attahiru Jega is going for his annual leave comes 1 March, 2015 he would never return to the INEC office again. According to the source, "As Jega will be on his Annual leave, a new acting chairman who will come in will be blown in the mouth with approximately N45M to declare President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the new president of Nigeria Republic".

"The postponement of the elections was to make sure the elections did not hold before Attahiru Jega goes on his annual leave; rather he wants him to be on leave as the elections hold in order for the new person that will come in to utilize the time in abundance to declare President Jonathan as the new president of Nigeria" said the source.

"Because Jega and Buhari had a closed door meeting in outside the country; that means he has bought the chairman of INEC, Attahiru Jega, if nothing quickly is done, the elections would be biased in favour of the candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari", said Jonathan.

It was reported that the candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, Buhari, gave the chairman of Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC, Attahiru Jega a sum of N40m during the closed door meeting they had outside the country to wave the elections in favour of him.

PoliticsNiger Forces Killed 260 Boko Haram Members by ObeyaFriday(op): 10:39pm On Feb 12, 2015
Satisfactorily, unlike Nigerian forces in tackling the annoying development of insurgence in the country, Niger forces allegedly reported to have killed 260 members of Boko Haram since February 6, 2015. It is really sad to the hearing of the public when president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, during the Presidential Media Chat hosted last Wednesday, 11 February 2015 openly said he doesn't promise Nigeria that Boko Haram will be wiped out before elections. And also, nothing positive was said about the abducted Chibok girls during this chat.

The postponement of the elections, according to the chairman of Independence Electoral Commission, INEC, Attahiru Jega was as a result of insecurity state of the country. "The postponement was not instigated by neither People Democratic Party, PDP nor All Progressive Congress, APC for personal or political interest; but as an advice from the security chiefs in the country", said Jega.

According to Nigerian forces, "We are not going to be available on the elections day because we are going to finish Boko Haram that day. We cannot be facing the issue of Boko Haram insurgence and at the same time available for the elections".

Now, how many Boko Haram members have they killed since the postponement of the elections? What Nigerian forces have done about the insurgence since they promised to do so?

Education5 Easy Principles Of Success In Life Based On My Experience---by Obeya Friday by ObeyaFriday(op): 10:25pm On Feb 12, 2015
In my previous article, I emphasized mostly on the paths to which success can be attained in our daily struggle to make end meet. It is a well known fact that every thing which can be reached in life must surely have its own lead path to which it can be found. Therefore, there are certain principles in which one needs to follow or observe in order to find himself in the midst of the successful.

However, based on my personal experience; I would like to introduce you to the succinct success principles which had been my watch principles as follow:

1. KINDNESS: This principle, due to my inner most understanding and inculcation I had from my indomitable, care, self-controlled, focused and loving father had played the major role of my greatness in life.I could always remember, after each day we had our dinner; my father would always called all of us to the sitting room and started teaching us the ways of life. In fact, I have learnt a lot from my father; and I can testify to it today that I am blessed.

Kindness has a lot to play in achieving your goals in life. Learn how to be kind to people, both the known and unknown. If you really want to make it in life; you have got to help, save lives, impact lives, touch lives with the little in your disposal and possession irrespective of your financial status.

2. POLITENESS: The holy book says, "By their fruits we shall know them". It is a bitter truth that no one wants to help he who doesn't respect, regard and reference others. Learn how to be polite to people if you are really aiming at getting to the top of your world. I would like to put it direct to you that, it pays no less to think and feel the outcome of your words before you speak it out. The way you talk signifies he who you are. I got most of my blessings from being polite to people, and respecting their personalities for that was how I was taught.

3. PERSISTENCE: Now, comes the supper one to quickly keying you up to your dreams, goals in life. The major problem of many in life is lack of persistence. It is a well known fact that it's very easy to start something; but finishing has always been the hard-knock of thousands of many youths in the world, today. Starting your project may not seem difficult, but how prepared are you to keep it to date until it's successfully accomplished? I don't think starting a blog, school, music, business is anyone's problem; but the guts, organized efforts, plans that are required in the action of persistence matter the most in accomplishing your project. If you really want to be wealthy in life, you must learn how to be persistent in your desiring dreams and goals in order to skyrocket you above the ladder of greatness in life.

4. DECISION: First of all, before any one becomes any body in life; he or she must decide what he would like to be in life. From my previous research, it was gathered that 95% of our youths do not know what actually they would want to become in life; thereby leaving them roaming in the streets like sheep without shepherd. What do you want to be in future? Do you want to become a doctor, musician, lawyer, nurse, writer? You must choose what you would like to be; then work towards it to achieving your goals. It is a well known fact that there are uncountable indecisive men and women out there. You must learn how to be decisive if you really want to be great in your life.

5. OPTIMISM: Finally, this is your spiritual strength towards achieving your goals in life. Being optimistic increases your driving force to attaining your desired dreams. Always think positive about your future, life, pursuit, project, mention it. Never have negative thought towards your planning to materialize your dreams. The truth is that, if you always think of failure in your life, you will definitely encounter failure. In other words, if you think of succeeding in everything you do, definitely you must succeed in life. The law of mental equivalent states that whatever man experiences in his life is the mental equivalent of what creates in his mind.

Christianity EtcVery Urgent: Nigeria Needs Your Prayer (massive Prayer) For Peaceful Election by ObeyaFriday(op): 9:08pm On Feb 11, 2015
Blood! Blood!! Blood!!! Everywhere spills with blood.

In my dream, I saw blood flowing in every gutter, street and house.

I woke up; but I was puzzled in figuring out its meaning. I went on my kneels; prayed for an hour, and it was revealed to me, "people are going to experience death toll in the country". I am not a prophet. It is not a vision nor prophecy; but a revelation.

My brethren, we are living in a wicked world. People are being killed every blessed day.
But, you shall not welcome fear for our God is greater than those killers. He said, "thousand may fall dead beside you, but you shall not be harmed. Ten thousand around you, but you shall not be touched". (Psalms 91:7)

I pray, may the Almighty God abort every plan of enemies this election period in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Brethren, it's high time we join hands together and pray for our country, Nigeria so that insurgents will become a thing of the past.

Type "Amen" or pray in your own way so that our enemies would be put to shame.

CareerWorking Or Wasting? Stop Being A Slave To Chinese Company by ObeyaFriday(op): 3:04pm On Feb 11, 2015
.....continued from "working or wasting?" (episode 2)

There is always this problem with our female youths who choose to be slaves to the modernised slave-organisations (Chinese Companies) set up here in our countries. They (our female youths) are nothing but just an inmates in these foreigners' dungeon. Prisoners are meant to remain indoors, endure all sorts of uncertainties, difficulties, suffering, hardships and serve government for the rest of imprisonment days ruled. As long as they remain being inmates, they cannot tell of what is happening out there; neither do they feel the beauty of nature flowing like milk.

Under normal circumstance; all women Suppose get married at the age of twenty to twenty five years. But, here in Nigeria, one can see a woman of forty years without a husband. If you really want to confirm or question my reality, kindly make your finding down to all these Chinese companies; I bet you definitely you must be wanting to deny this country and its government that closes her eyes against these our female youths who are wasting in the hands of foreigners.

How can they see a man who will say, "Hi babe, can I have a word with you? I must confess, you are too beautiful" while their system of work is nothing to write home about, but of abnormal and absurdity. The reason they always remain in that perpetual spinster attire is because no man is seeing them. It's not that they are not beautiful. It's not that they aren't going to make good mothers. But the fact remains that they are in prison. When others are coming back from offices is when they would be going to Chinese companies. How do you think man can see their beauties to admire?

Base on my research, I can boldly say, they are more than enough! If you go to some of these Chinese companies, among are Newbisco, Expression, AMingo, Wahum and many others; you must definitely say, "God, have mercy on these spinsters".

If you are a Muslim or a Christian, in your house of prayer kindly try to figure out this fact. Mostly, in churches they have special prayer session for people who are looking for husband. This time, pastor would say, those of you who are looking for husband should come out for special prayer that God is going to give someone husband today. In fact, you can't imagine the troop in which they would come out.
This is a clue to concord to my fact. After the prayer session, try to meet any one of those spinsters and find out where she is working. You wouldn't be surprised to be told that she is working in one of Chinese companies.

My dear women, it's high time you say no to slavery. You've been enslaved. You've been denied of your husband. Take a bold step to put a Stop to it, today. You are just wasting! Enough is enough for the wise! Change that work; it's quite obvious that you are at the wrong place.

CelebritiesI Don't Mind Being A Second Wife---nkiru Sylvanus by ObeyaFriday(op): 6:08pm On Feb 10, 2015
There is no husband in the country; stick to the one at your disposal, girls.
Who remember this confession by Nkiru Sylvanus?

The dream of every woman is to find a man to spend her entire life with.  Even the Holy religious books have enjoined men and women, to seek each other out and cohabit as man and wife. But as beautiful and simple as this may sound, marriage has long gone from being a simple item on a menu, it has become a task, as finding a true life partner has become as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. It is particularly more difficult for the womenfolks as they have to be proposed to.

As liberated as our society is now, it is hard to find a woman that would go out of her way to propose to a man. The norm is the other way round. So, for a woman, waiting to get a marriage proposal may me as certain as waiting for the proverbial hen to play a golden egg. It doesn’t have to do with beauty, wealth or status, or else all the Nollywood divas would have been long married before they hit their 30s. Why are these ladies still single in spite of their relative affluence and beauty? Meet some of Nollywood singles in their 30s, 40s still single and why:

Nkiru Sylvanus

Talented Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus is still single though not getting younger. The former aide to the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has declared that she wouldn’t mind being a second wife if the need arises. While speaking on a TV programme, she said: “ If the situation and the person is good, I’ll go for it. I’ve said it before that if ladies don’t stop this nonsense they call ‘one-man-one-wife’, many of them will get to 40 and still remain single. There are more women than men. Go to churches, the number of single ladies in most cases is three times the number of single guys”

LiteratureMy Memorable Day Of The Year by ObeyaFriday(op): 5:50pm On Feb 10, 2015
During Christmas period, I travelled down to the village to spend sometime with my family. You know, this time celebration is everywhere booming like there is no tomorrow.

On the 25th December evening, an old friend of mine invited me to a party where if not for God I would have become a dead man by now. Glory be to God!

As the party was going on; at about 9pm, some hoodlums invaded the ambience shooting endless gun at direct target to an innocent human beings in attempt to make a way with the money remitted. In the process, five men and seven women were killed in the cool blooded attack.

In fact, I hate talking about it; it was a great memorable day in my life. From the same bench we sat, two girls and one man were killed live in my eyes. I was unharmed by no bullet. I don't know how I made my way out of the environment but I could only realise I was out of the troubled-ambience and unharmed.

It was then I came to acknowledge and confirm what Bible says in Psalms 91:7 which is "A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand around you, but you will not be harmed".

"Believe and have faith in your God for there is no protector like him", said Obeya Friday.

By the unquestionable power of the most high God, no hands that type "Amen" and mouth that says "Amen" to this testimony will ever die of gunshot or sudden death in Jesus name.

CareerAre You Working Or Wasting? That Job Is Not Yours. by ObeyaFriday(op): 12:09am On Feb 10, 2015
Obviously, my view on African youths basically, their working and earning status can never be overemphasized.

Many people in Africa, especially in Nigeria today are wasting thinking they are working. It is said the country is too bad compare to other advance countries like London, UK and USA in terms of economic equity and its citizens' salary volume.
Because of this mentality, people who are very blessed with natural ability and brain to be self-employed and create more job for others have woefully failed by joining the sounding beat.

Back in the days, we heard about slave trade that have made our great forefathers men of no choice; men of no taste, men of no self-confidence, men of no self-sufficient, men of no self-defence, men of no self-help, so on and so Forth.
However, I want to quickly ask a question before proceeding. In our days; today are we still under the influence of the same slave trade? If I may answer this question for some men of indecisive character and nonchalant attitude, I boldly and confidently say yes, they are.

Nowadays, the system of slave trade using in Africa, especially Nigeria have been modernised and packaged to extent that people willingly get themselves enrolled. Chinese company has been the major slavery organisation in most African countries, where our youths are been heaped in an oven drying their blood thinking they are working.
For how long are you going to be slaves to foreigners? When are you going to wake up from your slumbering? Wake up! It's high time you say no to this modernised slave trade!

Come to the money aspect of this modernised slave trade, how much these foreigners are paying these our youths? Peanuts! Imagine a big blow to our faces, we the indigenous citizens!!
Night is meant to sleep. while others are sleeping in their comfortable houses, slaves to Chinese are busy frozen in oven. Saturdays and Sundays are meant to rest; but being a slave to Chinese company you can never have that privilege.
What can seven hundred naira (N700) do to an äveraged man who has responsibilities on his shoulder? The highest they can pay would never exceed between N700 and N800 per day. What a wasting years!

Back to my question, I, personally will never concord with those who will say yes, we are still under the influence of same slave trade.
It is a well know fact that you are the product of your thought. That is why, the law of mental equivalent states that whatever you experience in your life is the mental equivalent of what creates in your mind. If you keep seeing yourself working for people from years to years, you must definitely keep working for them; but if you keep seeing yourself become your own boss, you must definitely be independent.
If you keep saying to yourself "I can't make it" undoubtedly you will never make it.

It is not yet late for you to decide if you are to stop being a slave to people or to continue until it is all late!

That work you engage in is not your work. You are just wasting not working!!
Procrastination is deadly in the aboad of success. Never procrastinate; make a move today. Change your position; change that work for God sake! Never be stagnant and limited, for these are recipes for going nowhere in life.

Business7 Ways To Get People Believe, Like And Respect You----obeya Friday by ObeyaFriday(op): 11:41pm On Feb 09, 2015
There are some simple, yet often forgotten, business principles that can build a positive professional reputation and keep credibility intact -- for you and your business. Here are seven ways to convey  that you are poised, polished and ready to conduct business with the highest standards of professionalism.

1. Be honest.

Unfortunately, fraud and scandals are too common in modern business. Your credibility is rooted in your ability to be honest, no matter the situation. Although you might be tempted to intentionally lie, mistake or misrepresent yourself or an aspect of your business, the long-term cost severely outweighs any short-term benefit. Even small fibs can damage or ruin your reputation.

2. Keep your word.

Your professional reputation is damaged when you don’t deliver on a promise. Every time you make a commitment, you have the opportunity to raise or lower your credibility quotient. Your word is all you’ve got. It’s important to be straightforward and upfront, letting everyone involved know what to expect before you start a new project. No one likes surprises. If you can’t complete a task before the deadline or stay within the budget, let clients know immediately. People tend to be much more understanding and forgiving if they’ve had advance warning.

3. Admit your mistakes.

Failure is an inevitable aspect of business. Though mistakes happen, successful managers and entrepreneurs understand how important it is to focus on solutions rather than obsess over problems. To maintain a professional reputation as someone who is reliable and trustworthy, own up to mistakes as soon as they occur. Don’t attempt to cover up, ignore or minimize your errors or those of your business. Instead, take responsibility and find a solution. Always learn from your mistakes and then move on.

4. Be punctual.

Clients will evaluate you in part on your dependability. Most people will choose to work with someone who consistently delivers projects on time and on budget over someone who is talented but unreliable. Manage your time carefully to ensure that you never miss a meeting, deadline or commitment.

When meeting with clients or associates, arrive a few minutes early. Give yourself a buffer for travel to account for any traffic delays, inclement weather or difficulty with parking. If you arrive with plenty of time to spare, take a few moments to go to the restroom and gain your composure. Take advantage of your punctuality and build rapport with others who have arrived early. If something unavoidable happens to delay you, don’t make up an excuse. Instead, simply apologize.

5. Don’t use foul language.

Choose your words carefully. What you say and how you say it can deeply impact how others perceive you. Using profanity and foul language in public can send the message that you are immature, impatient and lack self-control. Swearing in a professional setting will never command the respect of those around you. Instead, a foul mouth will isolate and alienate you from others. Don’t give clients, co-workers and customers an excuse to not work with you. If you find yourself so angry or upset that you start to lose your temper, walk away. It’s much better to excuse yourself to another room than direct your anger at someone else.

6. Handle conflict gracefully.

There will be times when you don’t agree with your clients, colleagues or partners. The potential for arguments and disagreements will always be a part of doing business. But how you handle difficult situations will reveal your character. If a client tests your patience or questions your authority, don’t allow the situation to ruffle your feathers. Try not to react with anger or take frustrations out on someone else. Instead, work with the client to find a compromise. When you’re wrong, yield with grace.

7. Don’t burn bridges.

The business world is tumultuous. Never speak negatively of a past client or business relationship. Your adversary today could be your ally tomorrow. In 1992, I lost my job to a department-wide layoff. Though it would have been easy to lose touch, I kept in contact with my former director. Two years later, when I was interviewing for a public relations position at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, she was happy to give me a good reference. Her recommendation helped me get the job.

Relationships change and people may surprise you with a change in position or stature. The person you once took for granted may eventually turn out to be a powerful acquaintance.
