barcanista:
Babangida annuled credible election

Obasanjo conducted 2 fraudulent elections and even wanted to go for an unconstitutional 3rd term.

Buhari's supporters sent over 1000 people to their early deaths in 2011 because Buhari lost.

Buhari's team made it clear that "should election be rigged, they won't go to court but will form parallel government".

Buhari accepted the 2015 results despite the fact that there was cleaaaaaaaaaaaar case of Almajiri kids voting for him. All because he was declared winner.

Despite the electoral skimish in the North, incumbent Jonathan had to accept the result because "his ambition is not worth the blood of anybody".

Truly, Jonathan is the only Democratic President Nigeria has ever produced. He's a complete gentleman and a Man of Peace.

He deserves the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize.
Mr Hypocrite shut up! Go and wake Mandela up and ask him what he did to get the award and you will know that Jonathan did nothing. Was he the first to concede? What about Kenneth Kaunda? Jonathan has been sent to where he belongs and we want to forget his clueless regime and focus on the Incoming Government. He deserves the award of the Most Clueless President of the Decade. I will laugh at you because he won't even get nominated.

And why didn't you mention Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar who midwifed the democracy that saw Obasanjo become President?

gringringrin ignorance is bliss...did Jonathan borrow any $50billion dollarshuh...do you know what is $50billion dollars?...how much is our budget worth?...kindly drop your evidence here grin ...you just run around insulting people instead of using that valuable time to educate yourself...
Yes sir, your ignorance is bliss. How much does Nigeria owe at the moment?

Whynotthetruth:
I am for good governance not blackmail like you do mostly here hence I pointed out your hypocrisy to you...Rochas of Imo state, Aregbesola of osun state etc has messed up the state treasuries notwithstanding Rochas huge allocation while aregbesola gets a modest allocation as compared to states in their cadre like Anambra which isn't an oil producing state yet but doing far better than these APC states with no single debt and is even increasing salary of its workforce by 15% more in the midst of so-called scarcity...

When these APC states mess up, instead of the masses holding them accountable as grassroot government, they shift the blame to FG to hide their lack of leadership and sincerity to electorates...To me, What reason has Rivers state to borrow and even owe workershuh Lagos state has no reason borrowing as much as it is doing now with nothing to show for it eg $1Billion loan for light rail whose delivery date was July 2013. Till now, there's nothing to show for it and the loan is there to be repaired...But APC and its minions can't see such...they only see Jonathan...ndonu
Again you beat about the Bush. Was it the APC governors that borrowed the 50 billion dollars?
If you can't answer simple question then please don't quote me again.

Thanks to you Op for the write up...Buhari should run a government devoid of propaganda like most APC states and shun vindictiveness...

Now to you; obi4eze : Was Jonathan that plunged all APC states into mind boggling debtshuh...with little or nothing to show for those debts...

Passingshot, if only you understand what constructive criticism is...maybe to you it is only massaging the ego of ruling party through subtle advise as this...otherwise it is met by insults and blackmail by you and fellow minions...
Was it the APC governors that borrowed the monies for the FG?
Politics › Re: Economic Realities: The Way Forward For President-elect Muhammadu Buhari by obi4eze(m):
Mr Barcanista,
I can see that you are beginning to change a bit. Well I don't care if you jump ship because I already know who you are.

Now to the issue on ground. You did well to state the way forward but you did not really highlight the failures of this government. The economy under this administration has not seen the light of day. Good luck Jonathan has been wasteful and plunged Nigeria into debt, which now stands at more than 50 billion dollars.

Gen Buhari will have a lot of work to do and you can't talk about a present without a past. He would have to clean up the mess and rot in the system. He would need capable hands to help revamp the economy and sustain it. His social welfare program is laudable and if done in phases, it would be a huge success. Corruption, if fought to a stand - still, will ensure that project funds are not lost to looters.

I have a firm belief in him that he would change things for better. I will be patient with him and pray for his success in governance.

God bless GMB.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Ogoni Nation Will Not Support Lower Niger Delta Of Nigeria's Secession Bid by obi4eze(m): 7:33am On May 07, 2015
barcanista:
@OP: First, you have expressed an opinion which I respect and believe falls within your right. However, I will want to respond to some issues which I think is malicious and very far from the truth...

Neither the Ijaws nor any ethnic group in the Niger Delta benefitted from Jonathan's government save the politicians and so-called militants. In fact, it was a case of Jonathan slapping us with peanuts and not what we deserve.(in his own case a better peanut).

Jonathan was more interested in power than the emancipation of the Delta until it dawned on him that the Northern elite are resolved to return power to their region. It is a known fact that the last National Conference was an insult to our collective intelligence. The demand for Resource Control/50% Revenue on Oil and gas was killed and was never even considered. To show that Jonathan does not know what he was doing, he failed to give the Confab a legal framework that will see the reports go through a referendum for adoption.

The APC as a party is filled with people whose antecedents we shouldn't even be discussing. People that in saner climes should be in jail. But what happened? Some people took advantage of the situation to form a consortium just to tell Jonathan that he isn't going for second term and they remain the "godfathers". However, the voting pattern of March 28 shows that the unity of this country is FAR from the truth. We have fundamental structural flaws which I believe must be addressed if we are to progress as a nation. If this can't be addressed, then the call for referendum should be the next legitimate call. Niger Delta struggle does not start and end with Jonathan's ambition.

I respect the right for the Ogoni nation to stand alone and I am 100% in support of a federating unit exclusively for Ogoni nation. I believe the right to self-determination of ethnic nationalities should be respected if we are to achieve peace. However, I believe that the unity of the SE/SS bloc should be seen as a welcome development for our collective progress. Any ethnic group that feel the need not to be a part can pull out and stand on their own.
You are so inconsistent. I thought you said Jonathan is your hero. Or are you trying to deceive again?
