. Soul travel is a very individual experience, unique to each Soul. Sometimes it can be as subtle as a temporary shift in consciousness, with eyes wide open. Jeffrey had such an experience.

. I was driving down the highway one Thanksgiving Day, trying to decide whether or not to attend a second Thanksgiving gathering of friends. I didn't need to eat more; I was very full from the first meal! However, I wanted to visit these dear and special friends.
. Would they be offended if I visited and didn't eat anything?
. I was thinking about this, and how much I loved these people, when I saw an eagle soaring overhead. Instantly, it seemed as if I was about ten feet away from this magnificent bird. I could see the golden sunlight shining through its tail feathers and gleaming off its white head. I could see every detail of the eagle's body. I was filled with joy at this gift from God, this closeness to such an incredible being.
. That was how I felt about the people I would be visiting. I decided this was a definite sign from God that I should go. Of course I was warmly welcomed, hungry or not.
. Later on, as I told the story of the eagle, I realized I had actually been out of my body. There was no other way I could have felt so close to the eagle and seen such detail. Also, it seemed like time stood still: I felt I was there, close to the eagle, for minutes, when it couldn't have been more than a split second.

. "Soul does not die; there is no need to rush to leave a planet doomed for destruction. The school will just begin anew, perhaps on another planet, in another culture. . . The Law Of Noninterference

. Soul's responsibility not to interfere in the affairs of another Soul, but to allow others their freedom. To interfere usually involves a lack of love. Impatience and offering uninvited advice are often symptoms. Even the Living ECK Master does not enter into someone's personal affairs without definite permission. This spiritual law forbids it.

. The lesson: A spiritual being cannot violate the personal space of others, even if desperate to make a living.

. Anyone who uses any means of change or influence on another's mind, including prayer, is violating a law of spiritual consciousness.

. When we see another person with problems and troubles, we can have compassion; but we understand that somewhere down the path these problems have come to him by his own efforts. We let him have freedom to have his troubles. If he asks for help or compassion in one sense or another, we can give it, but we certainly do not interfere with another person's problem and take it on ourselves by saying, I'm going to pray for his healing. We learn the laws of Spirit.

. One is required to pay the price for breaking the spiritual laws even though it is done in ignorance. This is the highest law. Do unto others as you would first have them do unto you really means if I don't want people meddling in my life without permission, then I ought to extend that same privilege to others.

. People of good intentions - who are often short on patience - sometimes forget the law of Noninterference.

. Most people develop health problems as they get on in years and the body begins to run down. That's a natural part of living. But those who interfere with others, without knowing the laws of Divine Spirit, take on more than is necessary.

. We don't have a right to push our beliefs upon anyone else, nor does anyone else have the right to push their beliefs on us. This is part of the freedom of Soul. . . .
. Why should any one religion try to suppress another simply because they feel it's their right to do so? This is a violation of spiritual law. You cannot force others to do your will and call it God's will.

. There is a spiritual law that says you cannot ask ECK Masters to interfere in other people's lives.

. One of the blessings, and perhaps curses, of this world is that Soul can do what It wants to. It has free will.
. Of course, there's a saying that my freedom ends where yours begins. And your freedom ends where mine begins. If people understand love correctly, they will understand that.
. So many people who pass themselves off as disciples of love today do not understand that simple relationship - that my freedom ends where yours begins. And vice versa. That's how it works.

The laws that ethical people of all religions and philosophies can agree to and support are only two in number. These laws, already given in other ECK writings and talks, are so important for your unfoldment that they bear repeating. . . . Learn each word by heart, because knowing and using these two laws as a guiding principle in your daily life will avoid a lot of extra, unnecessary karma. These two laws belong to the social order. However, used in company with the ECK writings and spiritual exercises, you will see yourself grow in confidence, strength, and self - direction.

. The theatre, the stage, life in the streets of your metropolis - all are illusory. Yet they serve their purpose, for in their unreality, they bring Soul back to reality - to the ECK!
. The illusions man creates on the earth world have no value before Yama, the judge of the dead. There is no argument, there are no delays. Only justice.
. The man known as Jesus Christ was a contemporary of mine. We met on several occasions while he was preparing for his mission. We talked, but we both knew our missions were different.
. There are several differences. First, Jesus's teachings became the worship of the personality, for there was no other way to get his message to the people in the manner they would understand. This is the way of the saviors. He took on the karma of making his work known through the power of his personality.
. When the ECK Masters lead the chela to the Mahanta the Inner Master, there is no personality involved. The Outer Master is the teacher who clears up any misunderstandings he can on the outer, but when he leaves earth, he leaves karma - free. There are no karmic debts attached to his personality, for he has guided the chelas to the Inner Master - the Mahanta.
. Now it is the nature of the Inner Master to teach self-reliance and self-responsibility. Since he is the highest representative of SUGMAD, yet resides in the heart of man, there is no outside agent to pin any blame or guilt on. The Mahanta reveals more of himself to the chela as the chela is able to demonstrate responsibility for his own actions.
. On the other hand, the followers of Jesus believed that he would take care of the karmic debts himself. Those following him dumped all their transgressions on him, doing nobody any good.
. The only purpose of the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master is to guide the chela back home to SUGMAD. The rest is up to the chela. This is the difference between world saviors and the Vairagi ECK Masters.

. If man looks at the universe around himself, he cannot fail to realize that there must be some overruling plan coordinating its infinite complexity. If he takes into his hands and examines minutely any living thing, however simple, he must equally realize that the ordered diversity of its parts is built upon a determining framework. Science has sought in vain for its organising principle, but it will never be found on the physical plane, for it is not physical. It is not the inherent nature of atoms which cause them to arrange themselves in the complex patterns of living tissues.


. Man, as known to most in the state of human consciousness, is not a complete being; that nature develops him up to a certain point and then leaves him to develop further by his own efforts and devices, or to live and die such as he was born, or to degenerate and lose capacity for development.
. The evolution of man in this case means the development of certain inner qualities and features which usually remain undeveloped and cannot develop by themselves. Experiences and observation show that this development is possible only in certain definite conditions, with the efforts of a certain kind on the part of man himself, and with sufficient help from those who have begun similar work before and have already attained a certain degree of development, or at least a certain knowledge of methods.


. Spiritual evolution of man depends on his understanding of what he may get and what he must give for it. If he does not want it, or if he does not want it strongly enough and does not make the necessary efforts, he will not unfold. If he is forced to become anything that he doesn't want to be, this would be an injustice.

. The truth lies in the fact that before unfolding any faculty or powers which man has within himself and doesn't know about, he must acquire and learn about faculties and powers which he has and never uses. This is the missing link and the most important point in the spiritual evolution of man. It is that point which has always been made - that man does not know himself.

For example, the Law of Reverse Effort is simply that the harder a person struggles to achieve some goal, the more difficulty he will have to overcome; difficulty caused, at least in part, by the strain of his effort. "You try too hard; relax, take it easy, and try again," is an expression we hear so much in the Western world. We must make the mind one-pointed, as the Eastern adepts say, but nothing mental should be strained. We should never try to force results. We should stick to our task and finish out the race, but never knock ourselves out doing it.
. If we were riding a bicycle along a road filled with holes, trying to miss all the ruts, it is a certainty that we would hit almost every one. If we try to walk across a plank between two points, only two feet above the ground, it would be an easy feat. But if we put the plank between two windows on the fifteenth floor of two adjoining buildings and try walking it, we would find it extremely difficult to accomplish the task without falling. We would be so Conscious of falling to reach the far side, that we might not make it. This is the Law of Reverse Effort.
. This is exactly how man fails in Soul movement. He is working with mind in trying to get out of the body, and mind, which is influenced by one or all of the perversions, will keep informing him that he cannot get out of body. The harder he tries, the more firmly will Soul and body stick together, and he will fail in trying to resist the commands of mind.

. The principle which gives thought the dynamic power to correlate with its object, and, therefore, to master every adverse human experience; feeling that imparts vitality to thought; feeling is desire, and desire is love.


. Before you leave this life,take the trouble to learn the secret doctrine of ECK. It is the Law of Love which alone can carry you to God.


. The Law of Love will bring to you the necessary materials for your spiritual growth and maturity.
. Therefore, if you require love, try to realize that the only way to get love is by giving it, that the more you give the more you get, and the only way in which you can give it is to fill yourself with it until you become a magnet of love.
. Simplified, the mechanics of love is this: Thought is a channel of emotions and is carried by the Law of Vibration, the same as light and electricity. It is given vitality by the emotions through the Law of Love; it takes form and expression by the Law of Growth; it is a product of Soul, and hence it is divine, spiritual and creative in nature.


. Since we know that we cannot love everybody equally, then we can love warmly Only a certain number; but according to the law we must give impersonal love to all.

. There are many routes we can take to heaven. God has established so many different paths and means for us that there is a way for everyone, including the atheist. This sounds almost like a humorous paradox, but it's true. An atheist can be closer to God than a Bible-carrying, born-again Christian, simply because the atheist may have a better understanding of the Law of Love.


Every man must first seek to give love if he expects to receive it. He must give it under every circumstance - even though he is abused, mistreated, and given unnecessary hardships in this world.

You find that spiritual ecstasy does not touch all. But those whom it does touch, feel love drenching all consciousness, overwhelming all being. Love is God, and love is an act of God. Memories, doubts, and fears are far away when perceived through love, dimmed by love that is in itself so absolute, so separate from logic, that nothing else matters. Death is only an incident. Tortures can be endured until one dies, but it does not matter. In the end, agony dies of its own nothingness, like irrecoverable years. Love lives forever! Pain and the past are nothing more than love's chrysalis, its shell, its seedbed, in which these necessary nothings release such real wonders, such as the comforting thrill of God's hand on one's shoulder.


Knowledge can bring many things, for knowledge comes from mind expansion, but the consciousness of the heart brings love, and love brings all things.

The greatest law of all is the Law of Love. And this is the law that you're interested in to find your way back home to God.

The spiritual laws are based on the Law of Love. They do not punish for the mere pleasure of inflicting pain. They do it to teach people a spiritual lesson, which is part of their entire education. A little here, a little there; a little arithmetic, a little bit of language and geography. All the aspects of a spiritual nature. So that one day Soul can become a Co-worker with God.


All who have felt the love of God must return that love to others. It is the Law of Love. This law supports the universes, and it is the only hope of peace in your time. That peace never comes through any decree by a leader in politics or religion, for it already resides in the heart, but one must find it.

Love, after all, is the great law of life. God's love sustains all. Soul exists because God loves It, and so the Sugmad has sent the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master to help wandering Souls find their way home again.


Love is the only way to God. The only way. If you want to go this route, ask the Mahanta in contemplation to be shown the way.

. So what is the reason for living?
. Life is God's blessings to each Soul(you) to learn how to give and receive love. That's what's going on behind the scenes in this great laboratory of life.

. Soul is like a letter. The envelope that Soul comes in is the human body, and the address reads: "To Earth." The return address: "From Heaven." The whole point about this special mailing is the letter, Soul, and hardly the envelope.
. From heaven we came, and to heaven we do return. There is no doubt we will gather experiences. That goes with the turf. The question is, how much will we gain from them?
. Do we have more understanding? How about more compassion or love?
. No matter, for we get sent back here until we get our lessons right. There is no hurry. It is up to us to decide how quickly we wish to progress. Heaven certainly does not care. We each determine our own timetable. That is the whole of it, in spite of what other religions teach.

As you unfold spiritually, you also unfold power - spiritual power - along with spiritual love. As this spiritual power comes to you, along with it comes the understanding of spiritual law that you cannot misuse this power at any time. Some people think, I like Eckankar. Now maybe I can develop my healing powers and go out and heal people. I've always wanted to be a healer. I'll just go heal people. But sometimes healing people when they haven't learned the spiritual lesson of their illness is interfering in their state of consciousness.
. This is why my role, in this mission, this time, is not to do things for people they should learn how to do for themselves.
. I try to help people find their own way to a health practitioner to overcome an illness. I try to help people go into contemplation and find out about their future themselves, by studying the ECK-Vidya, which is the ancient science of prophecy. Do this for yourself.
. My role is to help people who are ready for Mastership, not children who want to have things done for them. I help people who are striving to become self-sufficient and develop the very high spiritual state of being able to survive under any and all conditions. This includes such things as health and even wealth.

. If we use Spirit we must follow the Law of ECK which is ethics, Its only limitation. If our originating intention is good, we may employ the spiritual power for what purpose we will. Ethics can be defined as that which is not selfish, which is good for the whole, which will not harm one and will do justice for all concerned - actions for the benefit of all. If we conform to this principle of obedience to the universal, the cosmic Law of Spirit, all will be well for ourselves and all others concerned.

. Many ECKist grew up with Christian backgrounds. The moral codes came into play: Thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not kill. These are moral codes. Ethics are similar, but they are at a higher level. A moral law is something society makes you do if you want to live at peace within that society. Ethics are the fine shadings: You do the right thing spiritually, even though you may not gain from it materially. You may even lose. But it is the right thing to do; it's the spiritual thing to do.

. When you come to Eckankar and begin with the teachings of Light and Sound, your life is going to take a new direction.
. It will be a very straightforward and definite direction. Your life will become one of personal responsibility.
. I've been trying to bring you a code of conduct in the very simplest way I know. These are Richard Maybury's two laws. They are two simple laws discovered by someone who is not a member of Eckankar. "Do all you have agreed to do," and "Do not encroach on other persons or their property.

A joke in Reader's Digest illustrates the road to self-knowledge and truth:
. During an interview, a reporter asked a bank president for the secret of his success.
"Two words."
"And what are they?
"Right decisions."
"How are right decisions made?
"One word."
"What is that?"
"Experience."
"How do you get experience?"
"Two words."
"What are they?"
"Wrong decisions."
. In ECK, the course is a straight one, with definite guidelines. These include the Master, the Sound Current (Holy Spirit), and the Spiritual Exercises of ECK. They are key to entering the high worlds of God. Critics may try to discredit our path, but time and experience shall teach them better too.

Most of the nonessentials of divine wisdom were invented or were openly promoted when Truth was forced to go underground due to persecution by the Church and state. These two groups did not wish for men to learn lest they observe ways and means of bettering their downtrodden condition and try to overthrow the established orders. The saviours did not have the worldwide means of instantaneous communication which we have today, and could not reach enough people to make their teachings effective enough to have lasting strength except for a few, like Christ and Buddha. So what we got as holy scriptures was little more than a pale reflection of truth. In many cases, it makes me wonder what is actually hidden in the hearts of many who know, but who will not tell the truth to the masses of people. It has been every man for himself, and much truth had been hidden behind symbolism in the writings of the Magi and wise men of the ages. A lot of guesswork by self-styled savants has been born and written for the public. Students of truth have been compelled to seek truth the best way possible, through records left, through researching among those living who have claimed to know and whose words have had to be tested. A lot of unsound guesswork has been made. Today all seekers have inherited the job of sifting out the useless and trying to rediscover what has been hidden or lost. It is a gargantuan task, and there are few authentic teachers and centers among the thousands of utterly useless promulgators of shallow doctrine.
. The experiences of the seekers lead them into realizing that something is beyond the sweetness and light of the leaders they may have been following. Mainly, this comes about for the simple reason that what they have been hearing and reading did not have agreement. Contradictions started them looking deeper into the subject and into their own experiences to find truth.Many learned that they couldn't share their newly hard-won knowledge because of the possible dangerous aspects of spreading truth.
. Once the individual becomes emancipated from the convention of society he can easily become a criminal in the eyes of that society. Few really want change, peculiar enough. Few understand that truth reveals itself only to those who seek it and love it. The whole purpose of spiritual training is, therefore, the absolute union with the Divine Self.
. Buddha said, "The summit of Reality can only be realized within oneself." The principal source of human life comes from within and from the depth of the Soul. The jewels of the ECK wisdom are seldom strewn along the highway for people, but are left to the individual to find and know. The masses are never lifted to the position of understanding, nor have the religionists ever wanted them to be. It would mean lost trade for the pseudo mystics.
. Yet many true seekers have found something. Hazrat Inayat Khan gave me a clue in his writings, "He who depends on his eyes for sight and, his ears for hearing and his mouth for speech, is still dead.

. What Is Soul Travel?

. In the simplest terms, Soul Travel is an individual moving closer to the heart of God. This movement takes a variety of forms.
. Soul Travel is, for the most part, a tool for use in the worlds below the Soul Plane, first of the true spiritual worlds. It takes one through the Astral, Causal, Mental, and Etheric Planes. As a whole, these are the planes of time and space. Soul Travel occurs in two general ways. One form is the sensation of fast movement of the Soul body through the planes of time and space. In reality, though, is such movement possible?
. You see, Soul exists on all planes, so what feels like movement, or travel, is simply Soul coming into an agreement with fixed states and conditions that already exist in some world of time and space.
. If you can imagine a scene, then you can be there this instant in the Soul body. That is the Imaginative technique. It may feel as though you are hurtling through space at a breakneck speed, like a rocket, and zooming on a journey to the outer space. In fact, though, Soul (you) is motionless. It is shifting Its attention to some higher state. That shifting of attention results in a feeling of fast motion to the material senses.
. Soul Travel begins with a Spiritual Exercise of ECK in a physical setting.
. A contemplative may hear a rushing sound, like a wailing wind in a tunnel, along with a sensation of incredible speed. But as explained, Soul doesn't move; Soul is. Time and space adjust to Soul's state of consciousness, and it is this adjustment of time and space that renders an illusion of movement or breathtaking speed. A seeming, rapid change of location is one aspect of Soul Travel that may prove to be a daunting obstacle for the timid. These people fear going beyond themselves.
. Soul Travel is, therefore, for the bold and courageous in spirit. But remember, since one doesn't in fact travel anywhere, it's impossible to get lost.
. Keep that principle in mind during a spiritual exercise. It will lend the confidence to open your heart to love and so delight in any enlightenment that finds you.
. Another form of Soul Travel is the expansion of consciousness. This aspect is the true state of personal revelation or enlightenment that we aspire to in ECK. It visits both the timid and the bold, and is a gentler, less robust version of movement in consciousness. Most people experience this sort of gradual shifting of awareness.
. Love and wonder define Soul Travel the best.

. Golden Kiss of God

. Soul Travel is thus of several dimensions. Some people describe it as a shift in consciousness. Out of the blue, some event happens to shed light on a spiritual matter that had mystified them. A shift in consciousness to a new plane flits in like a soft, golden kiss of God. Then, these lucky Souls know they've had the best of good fortune and have touched the hem of divine love. Rather, it has brushed them.
. Soul Travel, as stated, may also be of a more dramatic sort. In this case, an individual transcends the human body and tastes the love and freedom that are a birthright. He rises into the other worlds. Each experience fits him, because each is a reflection of his spiritual state.
. People ask, "Why is it important in ECKankar to learn Soul Travel?"
. Soul Travel, in a broad sense, is of much value because it is a link to the expansion of consciousness. The rule of destiny holds that people at some time will begin to awaken to who and what they are. A knowledge of past lives may be open to them by way of dreams or déjà vu. A few catch a glimpse of future events.
. Note that Soul Travel means moving into the higher realms of God, to places people haven't yet dreamed of. Soul Travel reveals a majesty and security that abounds in the arms of God alone.
. For this reason, Soul Travel transcends astral or mind travel, and rote prayer, elevating one into profound spiritual areas. Whenever Soul reaches the far orbits of the inner planes through Soul Travel, the human heart opens to God's all-consuming love.
. It is our very purpose to discover that love.

There is no mystery about truth, but the acquisition and transmission of true knowledge demands both great labor and great effort of him who receives.
. Those who want truth must make the initial effort to find the source of knowledge and to approach it, taking advantage of the help and indications which are given to all, but which people as a rule do not want to see or recognize. Knowledge cannot come to you without effort on your part.
. Strangely, most persons feel that truth can be given them without much effort. However, this is a wrong attitude for great knowledge is not easy to gather to one's self. For example, it takes five to ten years to grasp the principles of medicine, and often the same or longer for the study of painting, writing or music.
. Many times an individual's independent effort will attain him nothing. It is usually gained through those who already possess it. One should learn from those who know.

What man wants most in life is freedom. And if this is denied in his waking state, he'll fulfill it on the Astral Plane while he's asleep. The next question, then of course, is, what is freedom?"
. "The essence of freedom is expression, and freedom is measured by the degree that one is able to express oneself. In the lower worlds, there are numerous limiting factors to this freedom. Society is nothing but a set of limiting rules. So we find that the common man is becoming bullied by outer conditions more each day, and in his desperation, he finds that the only way to have any semblance of freedom is to create - to cause effects. Then we get into the matter of setting policies, the science and application of power, in order to assert these creative actions. Multiply this by the number of Souls on earth at any given time, and you can see why there is so much struggle, war, and interference with one another's space."
. There is but one way to attain true freedom in life - through Soul Travel. And many times the first steps are taken in the dream state, here in Askleposis."
. Freedom is finding existence outside of limitations. It is at this point that creation becomes one with beingness. The need to assert oneself through creation ceases, because in true beingness, one is pure cause. One sees life in pure randomity by direct perception through the eyes of Soul. When you visit new states of consciousness through Soul Travel, you're creating a new state of awareness within your own state of consciousness in order to accept the new things you experience. The conditions you experience are not as important as the new consciousness you create, for once you are able to consciously create the conditions for the new awareness to come into your life, you will always be able to attain freedom, no matter how restricting the outer conditions. . Thanks for the clear up. But how come the air to air missile missed. I thought they lock on to the target before shooting, especially since you said Iran shot down a drone with similar technology. Some say the missile exploded before getting to the drone, something is wrong with this story.

This is not just about the patriot defense, this drone also evaded an air to air missile from a fighter jet. How's that possible. Am thinking Russia is testing a new toy in Syria, and a very dangerous one too. Hezbollah can't do this.

. What Is Soul Travel?

. In the simplest terms, Soul Travel is an individual moving closer to the heart of God. This movement takes a variety of forms.
. Soul Travel is, for the most part, a tool for use in the worlds below the Soul Plane, first of the true spiritual worlds. It takes one through the Astral, Causal, Mental, and Etheric Planes. As a whole, these are the planes of time and space. Soul Travel occurs in two general ways. One form is the sensation of fast movement of the Soul body through the planes of time and space. In reality, though, is such movement possible?
. You see, Soul exists on all planes, so what feels like movement, or travel, is simply Soul coming into an agreement with fixed states and conditions that already exist in some world of time and space.
. If you can imagine a scene, then you can be there this instant in the Soul body. That is the Imaginative technique. It may feel as though you are hurtling through space at a breakneck speed, like a rocket, and zooming on a journey to the outer space. In fact, though, Soul (you) is motionless. It is shifting Its attention to some higher state. That shifting of attention results in a feeling of fast motion to the material senses.
. Soul Travel begins with a Spiritual Exercise of ECK in a physical setting.
. A contemplative may hear a rushing sound, like a wailing wind in a tunnel, along with a sensation of incredible speed. But as explained, Soul doesn't move; Soul is. Time and space adjust to Soul's state of consciousness, and it is this adjustment of time and space that renders an illusion of movement or breathtaking speed. A seeming, rapid change of location is one aspect of Soul Travel that may prove to be a daunting obstacle for the timid. These people fear going beyond themselves.
. Soul Travel is, therefore, for the bold and courageous in spirit. But remember, since one doesn't in fact travel anywhere, it's impossible to get lost.
. Keep that principle in mind during a spiritual exercise. It will lend the confidence to open your heart to love and so delight in any enlightenment that finds you.
. Another form of Soul Travel is the expansion of consciousness. This aspect is the true state of personal revelation or enlightenment that we aspire to in ECK. It visits both the timid and the bold, and is a gentler, less robust version of movement in consciousness. Most people experience this sort of gradual shifting of awareness.

. A person who wishes to move from the ego to higher self in understanding does so through right action. We call it dharma.

. We are interested in learning how to live life fully, not how to contemplate and withdraw, or retreat, from life. By living fully, we get the experience we need to one day become a CO-worker with God. You need every conceivable experience. It's better to go out and do something that you would later find was wrong, than to do nothing. At least you learned something - even if it's only that you would never do it again - and you're smarter than you were before.

. Danda Self-discipline; sometimes called the righteous law. It treats the divine rights of the people as well as that of kings. When it works both ways, it means that neither can trespass upon the other's rights. To have to write law upon the books and use this as a guide to keep society within the moral standards of life is to bring about disorder in a society. As the human race enters upon its decline in civilized standards, there is, and was, a transfer of the center of government from within man to enacted statutes; in other words, from moral standards deeply embedded in the inner consciousness of people to laws written in books. When the time came that the fundamental danda, the Law of Righteousness, was no longer in the hearts of people but in books, then the decline of civilization set in for society.
. It is only the ECK Masters who have witnessed such changes and have tried to lift the human race above the decline of every civilization in the history of mankind. The task is hard but since the Golden Age, long since passed, every ECK Master who has spent time upon this earth has gone through the Silver Age, the Copper Age, and others to witness the degenerative changes. Slowly has come the Iron Age, which marks the lowest ebb in individual and social degeneration. It is during this period that modern laws, government, and social regulations began to appear. Men, supposedly wise in nature, hailed these changes as progress. But it's not true that man has progressed in nature, but has decreased due to the workings of the Kal forces. He usually does not recognize such a negative force and, if he does at all, he scorns it as being nothing in his life.



. Those of you who wish to make the effort can also attain this self-mastery in life. You do not come to the point where you begin to direct or control Spirit,because Spirit will not be controlled or directed. People who try to do this are using the psychic powers, black magic. Instead, you let Spirit flow through you without any blocks or obstacles whatsoever. Eventually you become Its pure vehicle, as an ECK Master; and whatever It wants, you carry it out. When you get a direction on the inner planes, you immediately begin figuring ways to carry it out. Sometimes it may take a while. You pick priorities and begin working on them.

. Every atom is striving continually to manifest more life; all are intelligent, and all are seeking to carry out the purpose for which they were created.

. Life is a mystery until we come to the path of ECK. We begin to understand that we can be the creators of our own world and that, in truth, what we are today is a creation of that which we have made from the past. There is a way to change the future, and we can do it. But you don't do it by wishing.
. When an individual looks for God-Realization, it has to be more than a passing fancy. It's not like a fashion that you only wear for a season; you don't just forget your high aspirations for God. It must be something that is within your heart in a gentle way. You know that no matter what happens on the path, it is always to lead you closer to the source of Soul's creation in the heart of God. Soul wants to return home.

. . Chela, Laws and Rules for the

. The laws and rules for the ECK chela are simple. These are to give harmony, purity, and perfection of Soul. This constitutes heaven while in the physical vehicle.

. He must practice the disciplines of ECK. The first is to have cleanliness of mind, that no words which would pollute the air enter into his mind. He shall look upon all men as creatures of God and this only; for they, like himself, are temples who shall eventually become Co-workers with God.
. He must, in mind, fast continuously from all Kal thoughts which could infect his mental state and consciousness. Through this he learns the powerful awareness of the presence of the Living ECK Master, who is with him constantly. He learns not to be deceived or dismayed by the conflicting world around him. He knows that all universes, regardless of whether or not they are under the rulership of Kal Niranjan, are really worlds of perfection, harmony, and good.
. He learns that patience is the greatest discipline of all the spiritual works of ECK. By patience he can endure life, hardships, karmic burdens, the slanders of men, and the pricks of pain and disease. He keeps his mind steadfastly upon the Light of God, never swerving, never letting up on his attention to the goal of God-Realization.
. He comes to know humility and chastity in his life on earth and that all his responsibility belongs to God, not to anyone nor anything within this physical realm. His loved ones, family, and relatives are the images of God, mirrored in this worldly life and embodiment to serve the Sugmad, the Supreme Deity. . . .
. He will come to discriminate between all things, that there is no good nor evil, no beauty nor ugliness, and there is no sin. That all these are concepts of the mind, the dual forces in the matter worlds. Once he recognizes and understand this, he will then be free of all the Kal traps.
. He will be ready to enter into the Kingdom of God, the Ocean of Love and Mercy.
. He will be the ECK, of Itself.

The fourth law of this universe is the Law of Vibration, or Harmonics: This is the law that governs all the influences upon Soul and body in this world, such as wavelengths, outflows from the planets, stars, and heavenly bodies; Under this principle falls karma, cause and effect and inflow and outflow.

. Close observance shows the manifestation of the Law of Harmonics in vibrations of every kind including light, heat, chemistry, and other vibratory sciences.

. From the seven scales of music, each octave, do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti, contains a good foundation for understanding the cosmic laws of vibration. Each octave has an ascending octave, in which frequency of vibrations increase. . . . As one goes along the scale, it is found to descend, after ti, and continue going around the scale again and again, until it makes a circle or something similar to a circle. This is true of the physical universe for nothing keeps a straight line.

. Nothing in the physical world stays in the same place, or remains what it was; everything moves, everything is going somewhere, is changing inevitably, either develops or goes down, weakens, or degenerates. . . . Ascent or descent is the inevitable cosmic condition of any action.

. If man looks at the universe around himself he cannot fail to realize that there must be some overruling plan coordinating its infinite complexity. If he takes into his hands and examines minutely any living thing, however simple, equally must he realize that the ordered diversity of its parts is built upon a determining framework. Science has sought in vain for its organizing principle, but it will never be found on the physical plane for it is not physical. It is not the inherent nature of atoms which causes them to arrange themselves in the complex patterns of living tissues.




Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad

. History shows some Living ECK Masters in the past worked in public, while others were wholly unknown even to their neighbors. Whatever their posture in the community, it depended upon the supreme command given them by the Sugmad at the moment they took on the Spiritual Mantle. Each messenger carries out his prescribed duties with single-minded devotion until his term is done.
. Another ECKist writes: "It is difficult to adjust to the reality of a new Living ECK Master. . . but it has brought home again the importance of the continuity and ongoing flow of the ECK in contrast to the personality of the Master.
. The Mahanta is not a personality.
. The Mahanta is a spiritual title that designates the highest state of consciousness while still in this world and carrying on the duties of the Living ECK Master. Rebazar Tarzs, Fubbi Quantz, Yaubl sacabi have all passed through the state of Mahantaship and still retain it.
