Have you heard of the essenes?where they part of eckankar in Zadok's time.

A student new to Eck may gorge himself with everything of the spiritual works that he can find,while giving little or nothing in return to life.His joy in finding Eck is such that it astonishes him.He senses that it is truly the way home to God that he has searched for so long.His enthusiasm runs wild,though.He craves to satisfy his mental appetite by reading Eck book & discourse he can lay hands to.The consequence is often a fleeting reaction against th Eck.
