Mercedes Benz unveils it's 2018 pick up truck dubbed the " X- class"
Mercedes is offering the X-Class with four engines, two four-cylinder diesels, a four-cylinder gas engine, and a V6 diesel. It'll be offered in both rear- and all-wheel drive form, and either with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic. At launch, the X-Class will come with switchable 4Matic all-wheel drive with a low-range gearbox, while a permanent all-wheel drive system will arrive later.
As you'd expect, Mercedes also promises that the X-Class will be better on road than other pickups. The German automaker claims that the X-Class' dynamics are "on a par with passenger cars." Mercedes is also offering the X-Class with its safety tech like lane-keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
The X-Class is based on the non-US market Nissan Navara, though its styling is pure Mercedes—the front Facia looks quite a lot like the GLS SUV. Inside, the X-Class gets some of its own design touches, and you'll recognize a lot of switchgear from elsewhere in the Mercedes range. Most obvious is the 8.4-inch "Comand" touch screen that's offered in the C-Class and other Mercedes cars. The X-Class will be offered in three forms—the work-truck-esque "Pure" , the more luxurious "Progressive," and the stylish "Power."

AutoJoshNG: Nigerians would always be peculiar people.Thats what makes the country fun and distracts us from all the wahala .
If you are coming to Nigeria or Lagos for the first time , this would be very helpful.
Here are some slangs we won’t stop saying anytime soon .
Go Slow This is the way we say “traffic jam” in Naija . I dey inside go slow .
Drop This has two meanings, it means hailing a taxi and riding in it alone to your destination. It also means alighting from a bus or taxi.
Fockanizer Well, nothing much to say here, its Vulcanizer people .
Rewire “Rewire” is actually an action , the person doing the rewiring should be called an electrician , not a rewire, my country pipo !.

Men In Black This refers to the police , the popo , the Nigerian Police Force .
Agbero This word doesnt really mean something abusive , it can be translated as “Carrier of people /carrier of crowd” .But the madness of the agberos has made the word abusive. So it means conductors, tax collectors , infact any tout and their species .
Alaye From my little understanding of Yoruba , alaye means “the living” “alive” “lively” ,but the way its used is similar to the way Americans call their friends “nigga” or “brah” or “bro” .

Cut Your Hand This one cracks me up every time .It means “turn the steering wheel” .
The slang "shandy" for 20 naira note was adapted from the drink Green Sands Shandy because the colour of the bottle was green so was the color of the drink. You know the 20 naira note is also green.
boman2014: The taskforce team of the Nigeria Customs Service today stormed the Lagos home of billionaire businessman, Olu Okeowo, and seized his Rolls Royce cars. According to Sahara Reporters, the luxury cars were seized because the businessman is yet to pay the import duties on the cars.
enochogaga: 1. When the power indicator went off does the gen stop supplying power to ur house, if No, then the indicator bulb is bad, but if is not supplying then the gen has an electrical problem, fix it the bulb will light,
2. The auto key could not start coz the battery is weak, dues to long duration of unused, when u then use it the battery charge itself a bit, that why it start.
Abidevine, thanks for contacting prof,
Good morning Prof, I didn't say anything about the power indicator, I said voltage indicator you know that thing on the side of a gen that indicates if the gen output is 220v. It doesn't move anymore if my gen is on. Infact please send me your number so I can call and explain properly.
Professor, I bought a sumec firman spg 3000e2 generator in December 2017. I actually bought it from Alaba. I checked for originality and I confirmed it. Sumec firman crested on the carburetor, and other places. The gen is already doing hard starting
The voltage indicator that indicates that the gen is supplying current to 220v has stopped working. You know the spg3000e2 has key and rope start. I've not used the rope to start it since I bought it, as the key refused to start it, I tried the rope after 3 trials it started, I then turned it off and tried starting with the key and it started. I'm confused the gen is too new to be having this sort of wahala.
Please I need your advice. Thanks. Please mention me when responding so that I know when you respond.
