I want to use this medium to talk about some issues. I want to first say that we Nigerians and the present generation are at risk of being the most informed generation to die of ignorance.
The Nigerian economy is in recession, now the FG has said a lot of things without saying anything. How can the same government say that they have recovered billions of naira and millions of dollars. They say we have up 3trillion naira in the TSA account. They have in one year borrowed 2.2 trillion naira and yet we are now talking about selling national assets.I just don't understand all these theories. And we are even talking about it.
I think the government should stop chasing shadows and have a clear path of direction. The fiscal policy team my not be the best, but I believe if they can get their acts tohether, they can perform good. I think that the past administration has contributed to the problem we face today, but that should not be an excuse for mediocrity and failure.
The monetary and fiscal policy teams should have a close door meeting between them and come out with the best policies that move the economy forward. It is wrong and sad that the finance minister is saying something else while the CBN governor is saying something else. That is also part of our problem.
Now in the area of fight against corruption, Please this is my opinion ( in as much as this is hard for me to say but I have to say it. I am not a fan of any zone or any political party). I think the EFCC and the FG for now should leave some of the so called politicians or persons who because of being investigated have made the particular region ungovernable. I think for now the government needs all the money it can get to deliver its campaign promises to the people. We need more local and foreign investment in the region. The government should show some interest in the development of the region like the EPZ project.
This is time for the senate and house of reps to prove many of us including me wrong. I think they should do everything within their power to pass the PIB bill. The bill should be structured in a way that is for the good of everyone. The senate should come up with bills that will encourage savings by changing the sharing formula. Some percentage of the monthly revenue must be saved.
It is also sad that even if we want vote out the government come 2019, I don't see any viable option from any part of Nigeria for now.I know many of us has this believe that Nigeria is not worth dying for. But we are already dying in silence. Please it is time we forget about tribe and religion and fight for a common cause, which is to have some basic amenities. Hold our leaders accountable. Applaud our leaders when they do well and criticize constructively. The so called elite knows no tribe or religion in sharing our wealth. Be wise. Know who your true enemy is. I don't think he is in nairaland or most of the social media fighting you. Of this government fail it is still us that will suffer it. Even if you don't like this government, at least for your own good, they need to succeed.

Please if we can't reject any thing, let us come together and reject sell of national assets especially oil assets. If we must sell any oil asset I can support sell of NNPC but it should not be done now that oil industry globally is low.
Let us not forget easily what brought us to this stage. The then governors and the executive shared and useless the excess crude oil account.
I don't know why we are still having about $2billion innexcess crude account. I think instead of borrowing that money can be used and let the federal government give detailed account of recovered monies.
I pity the future generations unborn and we youths. This old fools are mortgaging our future for the gain for the now. That why people should be careful about the number of children the bring into this useless and selfish world. If you know you can't give those children 1000% (I mean one thousand percent) of the things you did not have as a kid, it will be wickedness to bring the child to this world.

Please my country people we are all together in this mess caused by the same 1% Nigerians who only care about how much that is in their pocket. Past governments contributed to this mess and Buhari government made it worse.
Now these senators are also killing us. We are in recession and I was expecting the senate president to propose a cut in the money they get for doing nothing, so that we can surely know that they really want to help.
Now the senate president is calling for the sale of national asset. This is not a good call for now. Let the ones we have sold start yielding the desired result before we talk of selling another one.
What I don't understand is how nobody is doing serious selfless protest against the jumbo pay of these A...holes in the senate. I don't think we Nigerians are serious minded people when it comes to things about our collective welfare.
A serious protest has been done in places like Kenya against the jumbo pay of the senate and it yielded positive result. Nigerian youths wake IP from your sleep.
Now the same senate is saying the executive should solve the problem of Niger delta immediately. How much have they done in their capacity to solve some of the problem of the region. I was expecting by now the PIB bill would have been fine tuned and passed. And instead of the Niger delta avengers to go a and carry out a massive protest in the senate (code named operation occupy the national assembly) rather they are busy destroying the mother land.

Please let us know who our real enemy is. The executive is contributing to the mess and others are still contributing to the mess even the Governors.

You keep decievung yourself. Apart from very few European countries many countries including US still and will continue to depend on coal to meet up more than half of their energy needs.

For me, there many reasons you should go for manual. As a starter, manual will help you to perfect your driving skills. Anybody who complains about changing manual gear in traffic and claims that he knows our to drive is deceiving himself. You can look for a simple manual car which you can use for a period of years then later if you wish you can then go for auto.
