The 26yr old who hails from Akwa Ibom state graduated from the department of Geology in 2010. He Joined Kwara State Referee association in 1999 and became grade one referee in 2005. His first NPL match was Zamfara United Vs Kaduna united in Kano in 2011.
He was in charge when Heartland won away at Nembe City on Match day 1 of the NPFL where he dished out 6 yellow cards.

Referee Ferdinand Aniete Udoh described is appointment as a fruit of hardwork and honesty. He said; "it is a previledge and I feel great to be the youngest ever Nigerian to become a FIFA badge referee and one of the youngest in the world to get badged at such age".
