Politics / Re: If Election Was Held Today Who Do You Think Would Win? by Obojuju: 2:49pm On Sep 11, 2022
Peter Obi for sure. Peter Obi will surely win it. Nigerians will never forgive themselves in 2023 if they make the costly mistake of retaining these old brigades. Tinubu should be apologizing to Nigerians for the calamity he brought upon her and not coming out to contest for presidency. He has no shame but I assure him he will disgraced at the polls next year. After the monumental disaster called Buhari, Nigeria cannot afford another leader whose driving motivation for the presidency is to merely fulfil a lifelong dream.

After the monumental disaster called Buhari, Nigeria cannot afford another leader whose driving motivation for the presidency is to merely fulfil a lifelong dream. Tinubu has a right to pursue his ambition but not at the expense of poor and long-suffering Nigerians already counting down to the days when Buhari’s nuisance will be escorted out of Aso Rock. The 2023 election should be a turning point. Recruiting another bumbler like Tinubu as president jeopardizes that chance. We can all agree that Nigeria deserves better than a candidate without a viable record of administrative success beyond the cheap propaganda retailed in the media and parroted by those who do not listen to their own thoughts before mouthing them like Festus Keyamo and now FFK

Vote Peter Obi to move the country from crudeoil economy to other sectors that can give the country foreign exchange earning other than crudeoil. The country cant depend on this oil for too long.

Peter Obi from 2023 is moving the country from consumption to production to earn more foreign exchange.

Tinubu is too arrogant and currently empty in brain due to excess drugs. He is sick.
He thinks Nigeria belongs to him. . And the youths of this nation will open a new and wide pathway that will put him in his place.
He is also too corruption inclined and sees that system as normal.
His Muslim - Muslim ticket is also a sign of disrespect and shows how he prioritizes personal interest above collective interest of the nation.

In 70s Nigeria, some people used other person’s visas to travel to the United States. It was commonplace. All you had to do is go to Oluwole. They replace the real photo on the validly issued visa with yours. One Bola Tinubu was given a visa in 1975. Nigerian journalists will be shocked to know whose photo was in the original application. The Tinubu family has a family registry. Investigative journalists should peruse that registry to identify the real age, gender and parentage of the actual Bola Tinubu. Abibatu Mogaji, the supposed mother of Bola Tinubu, was a woman of renown. She was a society woman. She lived in Lagos. At that time, the colonial authorities MANDATED every birth in Lagos to be registered. Even if some unknown thugs burn down the Lagos city hall, those records still exist in London, in archives of the colonial office. Journalists can find out if indeed Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji actually had a child on March 29, 1952. We should not let a person of unknown pedigree and parentage wheeler deal his way to Aso Rock in 2014. Nigeria cannot have a President who is a semi ghost. Before 1975, Bola Tinubu did not exist in the form of a young man who was naturally born to parents of Lagosian origins. Is Tinubu Oduduwa that dropped from the sky? We need to know his real name and age.
Politics / Re: 2023: Labour Party Will Try But Can’t Win Presidential Election – Babatope by Obojuju: 8:01pm On Sep 05, 2022
8 REASONABLE REASONS TO ELECT PETER OBI

1. Peter Obi is averse to waste
At the root of the poor infrastructural development all over Nigeria is criminal wastefulness, corruption and inflated contracts. Road or rail projects that can be done with N2 billion are inflated to N20 billion. The consequences of this is that projects go on forever and funds that would have been used to do 4 or 5 projects are spent on just 1 project. A very good example is the Lagos light rail project. It was conceptualized by Jakande in the early 80s but still remains uncompleted till date, even after 23 years of APC/Tinubu unbroken stranglehold of Lagos State.

2. The people's president

Of the 3 main candidates, only Peter Obi is banking on the power of the people to get elected. Tinubu and Atiku are relying/relied heavily on the support of the delegates (bought with dollars), governors, senators, house of representatives and other structures of their political party to get elected. The consequences of this is clear. If Peter Obi is elected, naturally he will take decisions that will benefit the overwhelming majority of Nigerians who voted him to power. Unlike the other candidates who if elected will spend reasonable public funds and time to reward the structures that got them elected.

3. A visionary president
In 2023, we need a president who, while catering for the current generation and solving the myriads of the current problems, also plans for the future, our children and the unborn generation. A president who realizes that Nigeria will still be existing in 100 and 200 years to come and sets aside some funds for the future and unborn generations. That is what Peter Obi represents, as he demonstrated in Anambra by saving some money for the future. We do not need people who believe we should consume everything today and let the future take care of itself.

4. He is young, vibrant and energetic

With the plethora of problems plaguing Nigeria currently, we need a president that is relatively young, energetic and vibrant. A president that has the physical and mental capacity to supervise the effective implementation of his programs and policies across all sectors simultaneously across the country. A president with hands on approach on all the issues. That is what Peter Obi represents.

5. A courageous president
We need a president who has the courage to take and implement critical decisions that can move Nigeria forward. Peter Obi demonstrated great courage when he opted to be impeached as Anambra governor rather than deploy public funds to pacify the greedy lawmakers. It takes courage and conviction to take such risky personal political decision because the impeachment court case could have gone either way.

6. His message is clear and concise

His campaign message in all the media interviews has centered around reducing waste and moving Nigeria from consumption to production. This is very clear message that tackles the root cause of many of the problems bedeviling Nigeria today.

7. A president that communicates to Nigerians
So far, of the 3 main candidates, only Peter Obi has granted to several live TV interviews. It shows he is a believer in the power of communication. He believes you and I have the right to know. Atiku only managed to grant a recorded interview while Tinubu has not granted any at all. This time around, we need a president that has the confidence to speak to Nigerians directly about his policies and challenges if any. Enough of deaf and dumb Presidents, hijacked by cabals in Aso Villa.

8. A listening president

As governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi was always visiting schools, hospitals, etc to hear and feel the challenges. At some point, he gave his phone number to the school prefects to get direct feedbacks. This demonstrates that Peter Obi will be a listening president. We don't need a president that will be hijacked by the Aso Rock cabal and only brought out once in 6 months to show proof of life.

In conclusion, 2023 presents another opportunity for you and I to choose a leader that will serve Nigeria and Nigerians in the next 4 to 8 years. For me, it is a very easy decision.

#ObiDatti 2023.

Let the truth be told about this country Nigeria, religious balancing is one of the first factors in determining competence for a Nigerian presidential aspirant. That’s is what it is in Nigeria at this time. He who fails in this is totally incompetent to be a Nigerian president in 2023.
God forbid that Tinubu and Shettima triumph at the 2023 presidential election and proceed to complete two terms. Power will thereafter be liable to rotate to Northern Nigeria, which will probably produce a Muslim. At the end of two terms of that person, following the two terms of Tinubu-Shettima and counting back to the two terms of Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s presidency would have been occupied by a Muslim for pretty much a quarter of a century or for 27 out of 32 years going back to the administration of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Children born at the beginning of this period may end up with the impression that Nigeria is indeed an Emirate in which only Muslims are entitled to aspire to the highest office.

Unfortunately, Christians don’t get the message being passed by this action. If it succeeds, in the next 8 years, political parties will only field Muslim candidates. They will tell you that if they present a Christian candidate, that they won’t win. That the North will not vote him, and they need northern votes to win. They will automatically sideline Christians in the politics of Nigeria. Then gradually, our laws begin to change towards a Muslim nation. The Hijab ruling is a clear example. Christians better stand your ground in this election or be eliminated. Once they vex, they attack churches and kill worshipers and its normal. They stone Christians in the name of blasphemy and its normal.

They negotiate with terrorists to release only Muslim girls and keep the Christian. Don’t use because of ethnicity and destroy your faith ethnicity is only in the world, you believe is beyond this world. Those attacked in Owo church, were not attacked because they are Yoruba, they were attacked because they are Christians. Those attacked in southern Kaduna are not attacked because they are Hausa’s, but because they are Christians.

Get your PVC and vote wisely in the 2023 presidential election. A word is enough for the wise!

“All of a sudden, the structure-less and social media candidates are now the headache of the ruling party that they now had to fabricate and imagine things they want the electoral Commission to act on. Obi’s successful trip abroad which is ostensibly to sensitize and carry along Nigerians aboard on his upcoming agenda of rebuilding the country is open and transparent and not a fund raising. But we know why its discomforting some people, because they cannot meet Nigerians in diaspora knowing that they contributed to their leaving the country in the first place. We have always said it umpteenth times that their own understanding of structure is the abundance of looted funds in their kitty that they plan to deploy on hungry Nigerian voters during the election to sway their votes. They know nobody has the kind of stolen funds they have and are always uncomfortable at anything suggesting to them that their opponents could match them. Obi did not go to beg for money but to sell himself and his mission to Nigerians outside the shores who are critical stakeholders in the Nigeria project. Since June 2022 that they deployed a lump of their loots to get the ticket of their party, the nation’s currency crashed and still battling for breath. And since then, they have been mopping up foreign currencies ahead of the election to buy voters. Obi and his Running mate are knowledgeable duo who know the law and operates within it and who became what they are financially, politically and socially doing legitimate businesses. They have no bullion van history of questionable wealth and are ready and willing to be scrutinized. Just as Obi and Datti backgrounds and antecedents are verifiable so also is their source of income before and now are unambiguous and auditable. Obi and Datti, reached where they are today in this 2023 journey giving no ‘shishi’ to anybody, because they are investing on the suffering Nigerians impoverished by the greedy leaders of the past who diverted public funds to their private and family pockets. We understand their predicament, the dearth of contents from their principal, Tinubu, the lack of what to market, using the ample opportunity provided by the campaigns and the resort to searching blindly for reasons to disqualify the people’s only hope for a new and better Nigeria. Suddenly, they are beginning to realize that the social media giant, the structure-less and inconsequential candidates, are in the heart of the people who are convinced by their pragmatic messages. In frustration and envy they are now desperately looking for all crooked ways to stop them. We like to advise all those in this school of thought that the old order that kept us down as a nation will still work, to read the writing on the wall and know that their time is up and that Nigerians are ready and determined to take back their county now.”

Pushing and adding negative stories with Obi Peter name to Nairaland front page every now and then wont change the fact that Tinubu is too arrogant and currently empty in brain due to excess drugs. He is also too corruption inclined and sees that system as normal. Atiku's only and major problem is that he will definitely steal heavily, because he is very loose. So it hard to trust him. If Osibanjo had been picked by APC, perhaps we would have had 2 viable choices at least, even thou he may be used as a puppet. Right now, the best option for any genuine and objective Nigerian is Peter Obi. Most of those craving for Tinubu and Atiku are those benefiting from their corrupt flows. So they don't want to be jobless or broke. Nigeria will be free. 65 million Nigerian voters have already made up their mind to vote for Peter Obi under Labour Party come 2023.

Buhari has taught us bitter lessons that every Nigerian is now wary of everything concerning Tinubu or APC. Only personality seems to matter in 2023 election not party or noisemaking. Nigerians seem to be more difficult now to predict.
We want an emergence of a new Nigeria now like never before. Tinubu should save his rotten image and support Obi and the world will celebrate him and acknowledge his good sides because his bad sides stink like soak away. He has not understood Nigerians want his money but don't him like him as a person or for presidency. His Muslim-Muslim ticket has fueled silent revolution that even affected his state election. He is pressed like Agege bread in the south by Obi being a Christian and in the north by Atiku being a landlord. What's his expectation? The odds are dangerously against him. He should be wise enough to understand the handwritings on the wall and redeem his image. The only option he has is to do the daring and support Obi since the north has used him to destroy APC. He will thank me later for following this advice. Nigerians don't celebrate hunger, pian and division, we want a Nigeria built on equality, justice and peace.
Nigerians this time around as a matter of urgency are voting the new breed, Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed for a new Nigeria. God bless Nigeria!
Peter Obi is the next President of Nigeria!

Obi will soon return from the trip to Diaspora engagement and in the coming days will certainly visit more and more predominantly local churches and mosque to preach about democracy and good governance. Nigerian patriots from all works of life will begin to join in the crusade spread the good news of this opportunity to vote wisely as against the only plan of the APC and PDP political class to continue wishing people to keep quiet so that the status quo would remain. Nigerian are tired of suffering and will certainly vote Peter Obi as the President of Nigeria in 2023 will will come as a rude shock to the political jobbers who want to continually hold the people down.

'It seems Nairaland is now deteriorating into being a partisan Forum before our very eyes. If they cannot be neural anymore maybe Nairaland should be sold to a more Neutral person. Look at how the mods are disgracing this great forum because of peanuts handed over to them. It now seems as if NAIRALAND is an outpost of APC. Maybe at last resort we that don’t support APC may have to leave this forum for APC members. It almost seems as if the front page is now an APC WhatsApp group where threads supporting APC are displayed and the thread against other candidates are displayed.'

Peter Obi is the next President of Nigeria. It a divine providence to liberate Nigerian people finally. All these senseless and useless attacks are just a mere last fight by the bunch of of these old corrupt politician who are now scared Peter Obi is taking over to sanitize Nigeria come 2023. PDP, APC and Tinubu were preparing to confront Atiku, they never saw Obi coming, they never prepared for Peter Obi, like the Peter Cornerstone Prophecy, the Peter Obi tsunami is sweeping across the whole black world for which Nigeria is very symbolic with. Peter Obi is a moving force, oppose it and it crushes you. Everything Tinubu supporters in particular are preparing are knee jerk reaction. They never saw Peter Obi coming, they are just making up impromptu attacks. How can you present a man who forfeited drug money to the tune of over $480,000 as far back as the 1990s to your white colleague at work in UK as the man to lead your country, a man whose ancestry is as opaque as death itself? Just because the man has enslaved Lagos and hypnotized his supporters, some people still have not been able to understand APC has wrecked the soul of Nigeria and needs to be chased out power in 2023.
