Barely 24 hours after the Rivers State Police Command foiled a Bank Robbery in a new generation bank(Diamond Bank) in port harcourt.

The Police command recorded another success story by rescuing the Kidnapped General Manager of dolphins football club, Mr.Joe Johnson, who was kidnapped on 11/10/2015

RESCUE OF A KIDNAPPING VICTIMS:
On 15/10/2015 at about 17:25 hour in an uncomplicated building at Ubima, Ikwerre LGA, police operatives safely rescued Mr. Joe Johnson, the General Manager of Dolphins Football Club, Port Harcourt. The victim was kidnapped on Sunday 11/10/2015 at 0817 hours between Omagwa and Aluu while on his way to Port Harcourt Airport. His kidnappers escaped with gunshot wounds while a short cut to size gun was recovered at the scene. Efforts is on to arrest the fleeing suspected kidnappers.

There are enough Mobile police men on Ordinance to wage a small war against a Local Government Area. Inside of Total which is just across the road from the bank, there would have been nothing less than 30 - 50 well equipped and armed Officers. Then coupled with the one's in the many other oil companies surrounding that bank, they could have wiped out those robbers immediately they existed the Bank gate.


There is Elekahia police station - Less than 5 mins from the Bank.

There is Oginigba police station too - Les than 3 mins from the Bank.

There is also Amadi - Ama Police Station - 10 mins from the Bank.

Mini-Okoro Police Station is also less than 5 mins away from that bank.


How the fhuck did the robbers get away despite being surrounded by these many number of police stations?

I'm sorry but I don't call this a success..

Instant action and hot chase by our men forced the armed robbers to abandoned their operational vehicle, Lexus jeep No. Rivers KRK 209 BX and escaped with gun shot wounds. Items recovered from the vehicle include the stolen money to the tune of 137 million Naira, one AK 47 rifle, rocket, an English made pistol and six magazines. The fleeing also abandoned another Lexus jeep at Rukpokwu along with three magazines and 160 rounds of 7.62 live ammunition. SCIID has taken over the case for discreet investigation.
