Working with the budget, 700k, the phones I listed are brand new High End (not mid range as you said), Neither are they UK/US used phones with the accompanying risk iof buying fake with changed battery or changed camera.

Please don't mislead the op to go and buy bad High End phone with 700k without warranty. Most of the time it will be either old flagship phone (he said he want something presentable for 2025) or fake/bad phone they will give him at that price

old flagships are better then new midrange phones. It will always be faster and way more responsive and durable. I mentioned the iPhone 13pro and not promax . The 13pro has a good camera, a very good display and a killer processor and ram. Phone is a beast, same as those Samsungs I mentioned. These are way better than a midrange phone.

if you finally decide to settle for the Samsung, never you upgrade the OS. I found out, upgrading it is mostly what breaks the display.

I tried plugging it into light without any battery cos I have some Mifis that work without batteries but this still wouldn’t work. I don’t know if it works with direct light though.

I plugged it into a power bank, same thing. Plugged it into power, no light. What can be the problem and can I fix it? I got this Mifi since Dec 2023 and haven’t had any need to use it since after then if not now that we had to travel due to the holidays.

It is noteworthy stating that replacing the battery for this MiFi is not a solution to the charging issue. It is a common problem with this MTN MiFi. I currently use one and had to dismantle and fix the power issue myself.

My bet is that the battery that came with it is still functional and doesn't require replacement. Just take it to a phone technician to fix the power and charging issue if you can't do it yourself.

Apparently, MTN was experimenting with this particular MiFi model.
