I know what a sub-station means. There used to be a 132KV transmission line from Alaoji power station to Calabar. I am making inference from the picture. Looks like the billows is coming from a spot. That's why I suspect power transformer catching fire. We are in rainy season. Lightning can cause it. It once happened at Egbu Road substation in Owerri around 2009.
