Hello Nairalanders, just discovered this forum some months ago and I must say I've learnt a lot from this platform.

Without mincing words let me go straight to an experience I had with a Nairalander like 2 weeks ago , when I came accross an advert on the comment section about buying cheap data of 1gig for 'just' N1500.
I called the number which as at then was 07031350573, politely introduced myself to the guy at the other end as a nairalander, and that I got his contact detail on the nairaland forum. I told him I needed 1gig worth of megabyte which he advertised as going for N1, 500. He persuaded me that instead of the 1gig that I shoukd go for 10gig which according to him would last 90 days, which was selling for the rate of N2,500.

I decided to opt for the latter. He requestes that I buy mtn credit(meanwhile I use an etisalat network) of N2, 500, which I did and sent same to him via an sms and also indicating my phone number where I want the megabyte sent. He equally told me I would receive the mb in less than 5 mins.
My dear Nairalanders I waited and waited and got no mb. When I call him to rectify my transaction, he told me to hold on he was working on it, at a point he stopped picking my calls. When he finally picked he requested for my PUK number which I didn't have, prompting him to demand that I send him another N500 Airtel recharge card together with the number at the back of my sim (Etisalat) for him to 'activate' my sim card. I told him I was no fool to keep sending him recharge card.

Up till today he hasn't sent me any mb not to talk of having the decency to return the N2500 worth of recharge card I sent him.
Even when my husband tried to reason with him man to man, he challenged him to do his worst.

I'm writing this as a means of warning unsuspecting Nairalanders from falling prey to such heartless crooks. From what I gathered he has changed his contact number and the way he designed his advert because of my several call outs.

N.B The name that appeared on his tru caller ID with the number 07031350573 is Akinlade James.

In other news, nairalanders pls beware of this guy that parades himself on this platform as cheap data expert. He is a pure scam! Dude scammed me into sending him N2500 worth of mtn recharge card in return for data that will last 90days. But up till today I haven't got any megabyte or my money back.
Pls beware of him. He may have changed his contact details and advert format, but he's still the same crook.

Nawaooo. He should have walked away and send the woman packing afterwards or something. Now he will spend a considerable amount of years in incarceration, cuz his charge will be for manslaughter as he acted in extreme provocation.

I saw his details here and sent him mtn recharge card worth N2, 500 on Friday, for him to send me megabyte which according to him is 10gig n will last me for 90 days. Pls the Op that posted this on thursday, I really need you to clarify what u meant in your reply via email that the applicant should come with his CV and copies of articles, essays, etc written by him/her. Is it mandatory for an NYSC lawyer or an Intern Lawyer to have written articles, essays or what have you? Pls next time be explicit in your post before making one send his/her credentials, cuz I myself I'm very careful about who or where I send my credentials. Thanks.

Anyone who believes this Freeze of a 'boy' should have his head re-examined. Someone that has d guts to bring his private issues on social media, even when the so-called accused wife, has been mute. What kind of father is he? Even if he no longer has regards for his estranged wife, what of the emotional trauma, and social stigma he's putting his children to? Thank you Jesus! I just lost my only nephew and trust me it's not easy losing one's child. Not even something to wish for your worst enemy. It's easy extending condolences, but quite devastating to experience it. I pray that none of us shall live to bury our children, rather they shall be the ones to bury us at a ripe age in Jesus Name, Amen!
