ComputersReview And Video - SAMSUNG "CHROMEBOOK" PRO by Ochoochogift(op): 6:42pm On Mar 06, 2018
Samsung is widely recognized for its phones and TVs, but the company also makes quite a few Chromebooks.

With its Chromebook Pro , Samsung is using Google’s Chrome OS (of course) while also adding a bit of its smartphone know-how to the recipe. No, there's not an iris scanner or Super AMOLED display, but instead the Chromebook Pro comes with an embedded pen, similar to what you’d find in the latest Galaxy Note smartphone.

It also includes a high-res panel (for a Chromebook, at least) and is spill resistant, making it almost a phone/laptop hybrid. At $549 it's on the higher-end of the Chromebook pricing scale, and it's the flagship Samsung Chromebook. Let's see if its worth the higher price. One note before we jump in - Chromebooks are obviously not gaming machines or for power users.

We evaluate Chromebooks based off their design, build quality, battery life, and general ability to be an effective "daily driver" when it comes to web browsing, word processing, and other basic tasks. A high-scoring, inexpensive Chromebook should not be compared directly to a high-scoring, expensive gaming laptop.

Here are the specifications of the Samsung Chromebook Pro I am evaluating:

SportsKane Has The Hiehest Record Of 2017/18. by Ochoochogift(op): 9:18pm On Mar 02, 2018
Harry Kane's prolific goalscoring has made comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo commonplace, and he now stands on the brink of a feat not seen in English football since the Portuguese departed for Real Madrid a decade ago.

Ronaldo was the last player to score 40 goals in a season for an English club when he hit 42 on his way to winning the Ballon d'Or and a league and Champions League double for Manchester United in 2007/08. Kane is yet to win such illustrious honours, but is on course for a third straight Premier League golden boot after netting his 35th goal of the campaign late on to win a vital three points for Tottenham at Crystal Palace last weekend.

Next in his firing line are Huddersfield at Wembley on Saturday before another chance to further his burgeoning reputation on the continent in Wednesday's massive Champions League last 16, second leg against Juventus. "I know I'm in good form," Kane said after scoring his 11th goal in 10 games in 2018. "I set myself little targets and I'm going quicker than I expected to this season.

I've got 35 now, so I just have to keep scoring goals."

However, Kane is not alone in the race to follow Ronaldo into the 40-goal club. Liverpool's Mohamed Salah...

SportsLas Palmas Vs Barcelona - Preview And Possible Lineups by Ochoochogift(op): 2:02pm On Mar 01, 2018
La Liga fixture between Las Palmas and Barcelona at the Estadio Gran Canaria.

Las Palmas:

Centre-back Pedro Bigas will not feature as he begins his recovery from a long-term knee injury while midfielder Gabriel Penalba (knee) and winger Momo (muscle strain) also miss out.

Barcelona:

Lucas Digne is set to play at left-back as Jordi Alba is serving a one-match ban and Luis Suarez could also be rested given that he is one booking away from a suspension with the crunch match against Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

In terms of injuries, right-back Nelson Semedo continues his recover from a hamstring problem and centre-back Gerard Pique will most likely be rested as he struggles with a knock to the knee.

Las Palmas manager Paco Jemez:

"I can't worry about what [Barcelona] are going to do. I'm not going to do anything weird because Messi and Barca are coming in. We will continue to be faithful to the style of game we are playing". "If I had a formula to beat Barca, I wouldn't be a coach.

I would dedicate my life to selling it to others and become a millionaire". "We will try to make it the best match possible. Barca won't be the only team attacking. The only thing I will not forgive is if they don't try, don't want it and aren't brave".

Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde:

"[Las Palmas] are not going to run and hide. They're going to pressure us, they always do"

"They're going to come out and play. That's no help to us.

SportsGuardiola's Manchester City A Painful Reminder Of Arsenal's Past by Ochoochogift(op): 11:48am On Feb 28, 2018
Manchester City victory on Sunday delivered the first trophy of the Pep Guardiola era and underlined the sense that the two clubs are on radically different trajectories.

Guardiola's men also enjoy a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League and are virtually assured of their place in the Champions League quarter-finals, thanks to a 4-0 last-16, first-leg win in Basel. Arsenal, by contrast, face a huge challenge just to make it back into the Champions League next season. Sixth in the league, they trail north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, in fourth place, by 10 points.

Even the emergency route of a Champions League return via winning the Europa League looks a big ask after Arsenal were paired with Italian giants AC Milan in the last 16. What is galling for Wenger and Arsenal is that in many ways Guardiola is the modern-day incarnation of what the Frenchman used to be in his first decade at the club.

Wenger's early years married attractive, aggressive football with a winning culture. While some of the frills to Arsenal's football have remained in the second half of his 22-year reign, the club have failed consistently to challenge for the biggest prizes.

"This development of mediocrity has to be arrested," Arsenal's second-highest goalscorer of all time, Ian Wright, who played under Wenger, told BBC radio. Guardiola shares Wenger's ideals of how the game should be played and has spoken glowingly of his admiration for his counterpart's longevity.

"I would have liked to have played for him," said Guardiola ahead of Sunday's final. "He likes one type of player, with quality and respect for the ball. They are things I like a lot, so if people say we play a little bit like Arsenal of the last 20 years then it's good for us."

SportsEx-barcelona, Sporting Gijon And Spain Star Quini Dies Aged 68 by Ochoochogift(op): 10:38am On Feb 28, 2018
Quini spent the majority of his career with Sporting Gijon, who he represented prolifically either side of his 1980 to 1984 stint with Barca.

He won the Pichichi trophy for being the top scorer in LaLiga five times and remains eighth on the all-time list in Spain's top flight thanks to 219 goals across 448 appearances.

Quini represented Spain at the 1978 and 1982 World Cups, along with the 1980 European Championship. His honours at Barca included Copa del Rey triumphs in 1980-81 and 1982-83 – scoring twice against his beloved Sporting in the former final – and the 1981-82 Cup Winners' Cup.

Barcelona might have completed a Liga and Copa double in 1980-81 but their title bid faltered in astonishing circumstances when Quini was kidnapped at gunpoint after scoring twice in a 6-0 win over Hercules He was released 25 days later, choosing not to press charges against his captors, and finished the season as LaLiga's top scorer.

David Villa is another striker who learned his trade at Sporting before moving to Barca and Spain's all-time top scorer led the tributes to his mentor.

"When I took my first steps in this profession I was lucky to be blessed by the advice of the best Spanish striker of all time, I could never have arrived where I arrived without your help," he wrote in an Instagram post. "I will be eternally grateful, friend. I remember that you asked me one day [to be] a better striker than you and I apologise for not succeeding, but that was an impossible mission for any striker who wanted to try.

"We will miss you very much, not only because you have been the best as a forward but also because [of how] you have been as a person. "I am sure that they have claimed you up there because in the sky they need goals and they have taken the best. You will always be in my memory. I love you so much, wizard. RIP." Barca captain Andres Iniesta tweeted: "We'll miss you brujo. RIP. My condolences to family and friends."

EducationSnow Forces Closures Across The UK -school Closed Today? by Ochoochogift(op): 3:00pm On Feb 27, 2018
Britain is braced for a snowy blastdubbed "the Beast from the East" which is certain to see school closures around the country.

But while pupils delight in a snow day, it can be a real problem for working mums and dads.

So why do schools close when it snows - and how do they decide whether to or not? The answer is down to health and safety – and in particular the safety of the children.

The ultimate decision to shut a school is made by the headteacher, who has to assess a number of factors before closing the doors for the day.

Councils do not tend to make a blanket decision to close all schools due to inclement weather. Instead, the headteacher usually determines whether children can travel safely to and from school, and decides if the site will remain safe throughout the day.

Schools have to assess a number of factors before closing the doors for the day, according to the Stoke Sentinel .

The state of pathways, steps and slopes around the school;

Condition of roads and pathways in the local area;

If the school's heating, lighting and water is working correctly; Whether catering can be provided;

Availability of public transport and school coaches;

SportsHarry Kane Finally Broke The Deadlock With A Header In The 89th Minute by Ochoochogift(op): 6:42pm On Feb 25, 2018
Harry Kane found a winner in the 89th minute of Sunday's clash between Crystal Palace and Tottenham, to see the home side off 0-1. 'Spurs' dominated throughou.

Sluggish first half

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Monday night, and in the first half it seemed like the players weren't 100% prepared for the fixture to be contested at the weekend. Neither side look too sharp in the first 45, and there were only a handful of clear cut chances.

'Spurs' started fairly quickly, and dominated possession throughout the half, but Palace looked fairly comfortable sitting back in a 4-5-1 when the visitors had the ball. The home side had a fair few dangerous counter-attacks, mostly down the right hand side through Andros Townsend. The pacey winger looked the most threatening player for the home side, but his final product wasn’t good enough.

Tottenham main man Harry Kane was pretty quiet in the half, but he was gifted the best chance of the first period in the ninth minute when Patrick Van Aanholt made a clanger, passing the ball into Kane’s path inside his own box after a cross field ball from Dele Alli. Kane was uncharacteristically profligate in front of goal, however, and Wayne Hennessey was able to save. Kane was also involved in a penalty shout in the 29th minute after Fosu-Mensah brought him down in the box, but the linesman flagged for offside.

Palace pinned

Spurs were even more dominant in the second half, and the majority of the play took place in Palace’s half of the pitch. The visitors attacked and attacked, but were not clinical, missing a few big chances. The biggest of these misses came from Kane again, as he fluffed a chance that was even easier than his first half opportunity.

SportsBarcelona Vs Girona - Preview And Possible Lineups by Ochoochogift(op): 2:38pm On Feb 24, 2018
Ernesto Valverde's side are cruising towards the Spanish title and, with 14 fixtures to go, they host Girona in a Catalan derby at the Camp Nou.

After a trip to Stamford Bridge and ahead of the return fixture of the Champions League last 16, Ernesto Valverde hinted he could rest some of his star men but field a strong side as Barca look to consolidate top spot.

When asked if Messi and Suarez would be rested, he said: "It's a possibility, but I'm not going to unveil it. Girona are one of the surprises of La Liga.

The intensity they play with means they are close to a place in Europe," said the Barca boss. "They handle themselves very well in attack and have players to create problems. They come to give the surprise and have nothing to lose."

Girona are having a fine maiden season in La Liga, currently in eighth place with 34 points, having won nine and drawn seven of their 24 matches. They have shown their capabilities against the top sides too, beating Real Madrid at home whilst drawing twice against Atletico Madrid. They lost 3-0 to Barcelona at Montilivi earlier this season.

Nelson Semedo is available for selection after missing the 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Champions League through suspension. Defender Thomas Vermaelen is also available and Valverde has a fully fit squad to select from at the Nou Camp.

SportsBayern Munich Vs Hertha Berlin - Preview And Possible Lineups by Ochoochogift(op): 7:29pm On Feb 23, 2018
Bayern Munich’s five-star Champions League performance against Besiktas on Tuesday has the league leaders firing on all cylinders ahead of their Saturday afternoon hosting the capital club.

Besides Manuel Neuer’s continued absence, however, Jupp Heynckes will also have to do without James Rodriguez, who missed training on Wednesday with a calf problem sustained in the European win.

Boateng is also sidelined, but fellow centre-back Mats Hummels should return while Joshua Kimmich is a doubt with a calf problem.

After Matchday 23’s disappointing home defeat to Mainz, Pal Dardai’s Hertha side are expected to be boosted by the returns of a number of key players. Karim Rekik, Ondrej Duda and Mitchell Weiser have all returned to team training and could be involved for the visit to Munich. Peter Pekarik (muscle problems) and Vedad Ibisevic (nose surgery) are two major doubts for Hertha.

Bayern Munich Manager Jupp Heynckes:

Jérôme Boateng is suffering from a cold, meaning Niklas Süle should partner Mats Hummels at centre-back here.Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry should both return to the starting XI after they started on the bench in the Champions League on Tuesday.Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry should both return to the starting XI after they started on the bench in the Champions League on Tuesday.

SportsLiverpool Vs West Ham - Preview And Possible Lineups by Ochoochogift(op): 7:11pm On Feb 23, 2018
Liverpool’s attacking trio is one of the best in world football and The Reds have no problem scoring.

Their defence, however, has not been brilliant this year.

Jurgen Klopp’s team have kept consecutive clean sheets in their last two games. They had conceded 12 goals in their previous 8 games. Virgil Van Dijk was brought in from Southampton to tighten up Liverpool’s defence but he hasn’t been overly impressive thus far. West Ham have only won one in their last 7 away matches in all competitions and have struggled on the road this term.

Liverpool were rampant when the two sides met earlier in the season. Mo Salah of course, scored twice whilst Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added goals later on as Liverpool won 4-1 at the London Stadium.

Liverpool Manager Jürgen Klopp:

Thankfully for all Liverpool fans this season, Salah, Firmino and Mane are yet to have a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The attacking trio have been involved in 85 goals between them this season. The only player missing from Liverpool’s squad is right-back Nathaniel Clyne. The English defender has been out of action for the duration of the season so far and is not far away rom a return but Saturday’s match is too soon.

SportsHere Is The Draw For The Europa League Round Of 16 by Ochoochogift(op): 5:26pm On Feb 23, 2018
Find out the pairings for the next round of the Europa League.

Here is the draw for the Europa League Round of 16

AC Milan v Arsenal

There's some interesting fixtures to be played in the Round of 16, the most notable of which will feature a battle between Gennaro Gattuso's resurgant Milan and Arsene Wenger's inconsistent Arsenal, who could arguably have the edge given that the return leg will be at the Emirates. Although Ostersunds FK proved on Thursday that home advantage is not always a good thing! The Serie A outfit arrive in the next round after thrashing Lugogorets 4-0 on aggregate and will not be a pushover for the English team.

Dortmund v Salzberg

Peter Stoger will be relishing his side's impending tie with the Austrian club given Dortmund only scraped through to the Round of 16 with a late equaliser to win 4-3 on aggregate. Salzberg are in a similar situation after coming through their tough clash with Real Socidad to also secure a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Sporting Lisbon v Viktoria Plzen

One of the more tame encounters see Portugal face Czech Republic. Sporting Lisbon weathered a six-goal thriller with Astana in their second leg to win 6-4 overall while Plzen overcame FK Patizan 3-1.

Marseille v Athletic Bilbao

Although it won't be billed as the big battle, both sides will fancy their chances to progress to the quarter-finals. Ligue 1 side Marseille lost the return leg against Braga but still progressed comfortably 3-1. Meanwhile in Spain, Bilbao also experienced a loss to Spartak Moscow but managed to just about hold on to progress 4-3 on aggregate.

CelebritiesHeavyweight Groped Hollywood Actor Brendan Fraser by Ochoochogift(op): 12:41pm On Feb 23, 2018
Actor Brendan Fraser says he wondered if he was "blacklisted" after he was allegedly groped by a former president of the organisation that hosts the Golden Globes.

The Mummy trilogy star told men's magazine GQ he did not have the courage to speak up until now because of the risk of humiliation and damage to his career. "Am I still frightened? Absolutely. Do I feel like I need to say something? Absolutely. Have I wanted to many, many times? Absolutely. Have I stopped myself? Absolutely," he said.

Fraser said he was leaving a luncheon held by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) at a Beverly Hills Hotel in 2003 when former president Philip Berk went to shake his hand.

"His left hand reaches around, grabs my ass cheek, and one of his fingers touches me in the taint. And he starts moving it around," Fraser alleged. Fraser said he eventually removed Mr Berk's hand and rushed out of the crowded room. He said he told his then-wife Afton Smith what happened. "I felt like someone had thrown invisible paint on me," he said. Mr Berk wrote he 'pinched' Fraser's behind Mr Berk is reported to have written in his 2014 autobiography With Signs and Wonders that he pinched Fraser's behind as a joke. He also wrote Fraser pinched him back.

Mr Berk disputed Fraser's account in an email, stating his version was "a total fabrication". Mr Berk said he wrote a letter to Fraser after the incident but said that apology admitted no wrongdoing. "If I've done anything that upset Mr Fraser, it was not intended and I apologise," Mr Berk said.

'The silence was deafening'

Fraser said he became depressed after the incident and told himself he deserved what happened. "I was blaming myself and I was miserable — because I was saying 'this is nothing; this guy reached around and he copped a feel'," Fraser said.

CelebritiesGreat Billy Graham Dies At 99 by Ochoochogift(op): 11:37pm On Feb 21, 2018
Billy Graham, who counseled presidents and preached to millions across the world from his native North Carolina to communist North Korea during his 70 years on the pulpit, died on Wednesday at the age of 99, a spokesman said.

Graham died at 8 a.m. EST (1300 GMT) at his home in Montreat, North Carolina, according to Jeremy Blume, a spokesman for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. With his steely features and piercing blue eyes, Graham was a powerful figure when he preached in his prime, roaming the stage and hoisting a Bible as he declared Jesus Christ to be the only solution to humanity’s problems.
According to his ministry, he preached to more people than anyone else in history, reaching hundreds of millions of people either in person or via TV and satellite links. Graham became the de facto White House chaplain to several U.S. presidents, most famously Richard Nixon. He also met with scores of world leaders and was the first noted evangelist to take his message behind the Iron Curtain. “He was probably the dominant religious leader of his era,” said William Martin, author of “A Prophet With Honor: The Billy Graham Story.” “No more than one or two popes, perhaps one or two other people, came close to what he achieved.” In a rare trip away from his home in his later years, Graham had celebrated his 95th birthday on Nov. 7, 2013, at a hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, where some 800 guests, including Republican politician Sarah Palin, business magnates Rupert Murdoch and Donald Trump and television hostess Kathie Lee Gifford paid tribute.
The celebration featured a video of a sermon that his son Franklin said was Graham’s last message to the nation. Graham had been working for a year on the video, which was aired on Fox News. In it, he said America was “in great need of a spiritual awakening.” In his prime Graham had a thunderous, quick-burst speaking style that earned him the nickname “God’s Machine Gun.” Through his “Crusades for Christ,” Graham sowed fields of devotion across the American heartland that would become fertile ground for the growth of the religious right’s conservative political movement.

SportsMessi Breaks Chelsea Duck To Gain Barcelona A Draw by Ochoochogift(op): 12:58am On Feb 21, 2018
Lionel Messi ended his long barren spell against Chelsea on Tuesday night to earn Barcelona a draw at Stamford Bridge.

The fixture was a familiar one for both sides, with the pair having faced each other in the Champions League’s latter stages on several previous occasions.

In fitting with a game of such magnitude, the two sides spent the opening exchanges getting a feel for each other, with neither willing to commit too much too early. Eden Hazard was the first to try his luck, hammering a left-footed strike just off target after cutting in from the right.

Barca dominated possession for long stages during the first half, but generally it was the hosts who looked the more dangerous in front of goal. With just 16 minutes on the clock the visitors fashioned their first gilt-edged chance, but Paulinho - preferred in midfield to Andre Gomes - headed wide from 12 yards after being expertly picked out by Lionel Messi. Despite being an entertaining affair it was a first half of few chances, with Chelsea best efforts coming from Willian, who twice rattled the post with efforts from long range.

At the other end, Gerard Pique failed to take full advantage after his marker slipped to allow him a free header from a corner. Hazard powered a volley over the bar in the dying embers as the first half ended goalless.

Barcelona possession

The second half started as the first had finished, with Barca dominating the ball but without any real creative edge. Andres Iniesta blazed over from range, before Luis Suarez forced a good low save from Thibaut Courtois from a narrow angle after jinking past Cesar Azpilicueta. However, despite Chelsea barely having a kick for long spells it was they who found the opener. Cesc Fabregas - playing against his boyhood side for the first time - saw an effort deflected away for a corner on the left, which the hosts took quickly.

The ball was worked to Willian on the edge of the box and he duly curled home a lovely finish form 18 yards. Very much a case of third time lucky for the Samba star. Given their solid defending up to that point it looked like Chelsea would take a precious lead to the Camp Nou, but it wasn’t to be, with the ‘Blues’ shooting themselves in the foot with just 15 minutes to play.

SportsEibar Vs Barcelona 0-2 : Great Victory For Barcelona by Ochoochogift(op): 7:07pm On Feb 17, 2018
Barcelona made three more points in their pursuit for the La Liga title on Saturday as goals from Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba helped them to a 2-0 victory over Eibar.

Jordi Alba saw an effort well blocked away by a visiting defender after Luis Suarez had rounded Marko Dmitrovic before the hosts continued their early pressure. Kike Garcia saw a low effort from a narrow angle well saved by Marc-Andre Ter Stegen before Ivan Ramis could only direct a header straight at the German.

Against the run of play

With 16 minutes of the game gone, Barca took the lead against the run of play. Lionel Messi was allowed to turn on halfway and he sent Suarez scampering away with a fine pass, with the Uruguayan keeping his cool to round Dmitrovic and roll the ball into the empty net. Despite the setback, Eibar continued in the same vein and almost found an immediate response as Fabian Orellana thumped a curling effort against the crossbar from 25 yards. As the first half wore on Joan Jordanwasted a good shooting chance by dragging an effort well wide of the near post under little pressure. Despite Eibar’s dominance it was Barca who came closest as the half drew to a close, Brazilian midfielder Paulinho only managing to head straight at Dimitrovicin the home goal after meeting Alba’s cross, before Messi rattled the post after being fed by Suarez.

Nevertheless, the two sides went into the break level and there continued to be little between them in the second half.

SportsAll You Need To Know About Premier League by Ochoochogift(op): 10:57am On Feb 17, 2018
The Premier League is the top level of the English football league system. Contested by twenty clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the English Football League (EFL). The Premier League is a corporation in which the member clubs act as shareholders. Seasons run from August to May with each team playing 38 matches (playing each other home and away).[1] Most games are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It is known outside the UK as the English Premier League (EPL).

The competition was formed as the FA Premier League on 20 February 1992 following the decision of clubs in the Football League First Division to break away from the Football League, founded in 1888, and take advantage of a lucrative television rights deal.
[2] The deal was worth £1 billion a year domestically as of 2013–14, with BSkyB and BT Group securing the domestic rights to broadcast 116 and 38 games respectively.
[3] The league generates €2.2 billion per year in domestic and international television rights.
[4] In 2014–15, teams were apportioned revenues of £1,600 million,
[5] rising sharply to £2,400 million in 2016–17.
[6]The Premier League is the most-watched sports league in the world, broadcast in 212 territories to 643 million homes and a potential TV audience of 4.7 billion people.
[7] In the 2014–15 season, the average Premier League match attendance exceeded 36,000,
[8] second highest of any professional football league behind the Bundesliga's 43,500.
[9] Most stadium occupancies are near capacity.
[10] The Premier League ranks third in the UEFA coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the past five seasons, as of 2016.
[11] Forty-nine clubs have competed since the inception of the Premier League in 1992.

SportsMonrea, Papagiannopoulos And Özil Give Arsenal Great Win Against Ostersunds by Ochoochogift(op): 9:55pm On Feb 15, 2018
Arsenal’s freezing players did not have the look of archetypal fairytale villains as they emerged into the night in Sweden’s ‘Winter City’.

They did, however, play the part to perfection. There was no sympathy for the romance of this Ostersunds FK journey, no consideration for their English manager, and no chance Arsene Wenger’s side would be prevented from thawing out this two-legged tie in under an hour.

With their Premier League season derailing at speed, Wenger had made his intentions clear by naming a team that included Mesut Ozil for the first time in the Europa League.

Champions League qualification is at stake, so this was no occasion for needless risks, particularly in a city so cold that roads are pisted rather than built. It was akin to parachuting the special forces into action, and the decision paid off. Ozil strutted and scored, adding a third to an earlier strike by Nacho Monreal and an own goal from Sotirios Papagiannopoulos. At times, the Ostersunds players would have been forgiven for feeling a little starstruck. Graham Potter’s disparate outfit, made up of misfits and rejects, have defied both logic and footballing convention to journey this deep into European competition.

Three promotions and a Swedish Cup victory have set pulses racing in this isolated corner of Sweden, as have the squad’s famous theatrical productions. Potter, in short, has turned a sideshow into a passion. A team that was barely supported a decade ago, and did not even exist when Arsene Wenger took over as Arsenal manager, has become an integral part of a city which has a population that would not even fill the Emirates Stadium.

None of this will be reversed by a thrashing at the hands of Arsenal’s international stars and World Cup winners. But it will serve as a reality check as much as a footballing lesson.

Such was Arsenal’s control that Shkrodran Mustafi, one of only two players to have braved the conditions without gloves, had cooled down enough after 20 minutes that he had to request a pair from the Arsenal bench. Potter had not disagreed with suggestions that the contrast in size between the two sides had given this tie a flavour similar to an FA Cup third-round tie, although he did point out that most minnows would not have already beaten Galatasary and Hertha Berlin in the competition. For all that this was a fair point, and for all that Ostersunds deserved to be here, the first 25 minutes certainly had an unbalanced feel. Arsenal quickly set up camp not just in the Ostersunds half, but in the final third of it.

Technology MarketBitcoin Price Gained 12% On Thursday To Approach $10,000 by Ochoochogift(op): 7:31pm On Feb 15, 2018
As Bitcoin added almost 40% in February from lows of under $6000 in some markets, Max Keiser led cautious optimism, celebrating what he called the end of “secular bull market.”

“$28,000 in play,” he wrote on Twitter late Wednesday, adding that he thought Bitcoin’s “break through $10,000 will usher in a new burst of news coverage and a fresh wave of buying.”

Altcoins broadly followed suit as BTC rose, with Litecoin making additional gains on the back of LitePay’s merchant acceptance announcement and hard fork speculation.

Against BTC, Litecoin took an unlikely opportunity to post a new all-time high of 0.025, making LTC easily the best-performing altcoin asset in the top 50 by market cap in BTC terms. Others echoed positive sentiment similar to Keiser’s “healthy pullback,” with investor Alex Gurevich commenting Bitcoin had “established a very solid bottom.” “If it clears $10,000 now it should have an easy path to $50,000 this year,” he wrote in a social media forecast Wednesday.

Ronaldo stepped up in the final minutes of the first half to convert a penalty against Paris Saint-Germain after Tony Kroos was pulled down in the area.

That leveled the score at 1-1 in the Champions League last-16 first leg match at the Santiago Bernabeu, canceling out Adrien Rabiot’s 33rd minute goal for the visitors.

SportsPorto 0-5 Liverpool Mane Bagged A Hat-trick On Wednesday Night by Ochoochogift(op): 12:42am On Feb 15, 2018
Jurgen Klopp spoke before the game about how his side has the potential to beat Paris Saint-Germain if they should face one another in the European competition. One thing stood in their way though, their Round of 16 opponents: Porto.

However, the Merseyside club made light work of their Portuguese opponents, who are currently undefeated in their national league this season, scoring five important away goals without reply to put the tie comfortably in their destiny. It was a scrappy first 45 minutes with neither side posting clear-cut chances although Liverpool's effervescent attack would prove to be the deadly factor in the end, along with some appalling defending by Porto. The deadlock was broken in the 24th minute thanks to a goalkeeping error from Jose Sa.

As Sadio Mane ran onto a pass from Georginio Wijnaldum just inside the box, he opened his body and took a shot at the opposing keeper. It was tame but the Senegalese forward would be gifted the goal as Sa allowed the shot to go underneath his body and into the back of the net.

It wasn't long after that Liverpool cemented their lead. Five minutes later, James Milner's curled effort crashed off the post and fell at Mohamed Salah's feet, who cleverly hit the ball up and over the keeper before bringing it down to finish his effort past a desperate lunge from a defender and net his 30th goal in all competitions. The two goals in quick succession left the Portuguese side stunned, as they failed to mount a serious comeback before the whilstle went for half-time. However, there was more misery to be had in the second-half. - The 'Sadio Mane' show - His strike partners may have grabbed more headlines this season, but the Senegal international wasted no time adding to his tally after the break.

EducationAuthorities Say : Florida High School Shooter In Custody, Injurer Reported by Ochoochogift(op): 11:09pm On Feb 14, 2018
A shooting at a Florida high school Wednesday sent students rushing out into the streets as SWAT team members swarmed in and locked down the building. School officials said they had received reports of multiple injuries.

Authorities say the shooter at a South Florida high school is now in custody.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office gave no details in briefly tweeting that development. It did not identify the shooting suspect nor say how the person was taken into custody. Television footage showed police putting a person in the back of a police car outside the high school. Coral Springs Police said on their Twitter account Wednesday that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was locked down and that students and teachers inside should remain barricaded until police reach them. Len Murray's 17-year-old son, a junior at the school, sent his parents a chilling text around 2:30pm: "Mom and Dad, there have been shots fired on campus at school. There are police sirens outside. I'm in the auditorium and the doors are locked."

A few minutes later, he texted again: "I'm fine."

Ambulances converged in front of the school, and TV news broadcasts showed at least one person being wheeled to an ambulance on a gurney. Live footage also showed emergency workers appearing to treat possibly wounded people on the sidewalks. It wasn't immediately clear how many were wounded.

Television footage showed police in olive fatigues, with weapons drawn, entering the school, then dozens of children frantically running and walking quickly out. A police officer waved the students on, urging them to quickly evacuate. Some students exited the building in single-file rows with hands raised overhead to show they carried no weapons.

Foreign AffairsShots Fired Outside National Security Agency Headquarters by Ochoochogift(op): 7:06pm On Feb 14, 2018
Shots were fired outside the headquarters of the National Security Agency in Maryland on Wednesday morning when an unauthorized vehicle attempted to enter the agency's campus, the NSA said in a statement. Sources told CBS News that three people were injured and two people were being held by authorities. One person in custody was being questioned and appeared to be cooperating with authorities, CBS News justice and homeland security correspondent Jeff Pegues reports. An SUV was seen stopped at the entrance to the key U.S. intelligence facility in Fort Meade, Maryland, northeast of Washington.

According to a law enforcement source, the SUV apparently tried to ram a security gate, CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton reports. There didn't appear to be a nexus to terrorism, a law enforcement source told CBS News. Bullet holes were seen in the vehicle's windshield, but two officials told CBS News that no one was hit by gunfire. One person was rushed to a hospital with injuries sustained from the crash. Two others who were in the vehicle were being held by authorities. It's not clear whether any weapons were in the vehicle, the officials said.

NSA police, the FBI and local law enforcement responded to the shooting, sources told CBS News. The situation was under control, and there was no ongoing threat, the NSA said in a statement. It was unclear what the SUV was doing at the gate. White House deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters said in a statement that President Trump had been briefed on the shooting. "Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that has been affected," Walters said. After the shooting, authorities closed a major highway in both directions, causing major backups throughout the area during rush hour.
