Aganju849:You are the one who has idiocy in your DNA. Hatred has consumed you and will be your lot in life if you continue this way. |
oshozondii:This is exactly where the southwest are selling themselves short - because they are so accommodating, they allow other tribes to troop to Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo & co. After a while, these immigrants begin to start trying to Lord it over their hosts and even challenging their ways of life. Imagine if this thread had been about Tinubu or Osoba having their daughters/sons made judges of high courts by governors they installed. Imagine it. By now all hell will be let loose from fake activists and sons of hate whose main goal is to bring down everything good in the southwest even though they don’t ever raise a voice when useless governors and politicians in their backyards are doing bad governance and looting their treasury. Look at all of them here celebrating and congratulating Odili. They have forgotten their so called activism which is very fake. It is sad that nairaland had turned to thrash. |
uncleck:May God have mercy on your anti-Christ soul. |
Drinokrane:All these paid/sponsored posts don’t cut it at all, especially when paid minions are already readied beforehand to start commenting on the thread and praising the person in the enormously edited and airbrushed photos. I used to actively seek out any YouTube movies which had Iyabo Ojo in them. I’d watch them just because she’s there. Like most people, I lost all respect for her after the Baba Ijesha saga. Iyabo Ojo did that case great injustice with her involvement. Before she got involved, everyone that I know and every commentator all called for the most severe kind of punishment for Baba Ijesha because of the very despicable alleged act, but with the manner of Iyabo Ojo’s involvement, most started having sympathies for Baba Ijesha (and still do). That’s a great disservice to that little girl who’s the one everyone should be concerned about. From wanting to watch anything Iyabo Ojo, Odunlade, etc, now I change the channel immediately anything Iyabo Ojo comes up - I don’t watch to watch. |
OfoIgbo:Dindinrin with a capital D. ![]() |
oluwaahmed:Shut the hell up and stop trying to feed people wiser than you with your trash. The whole world can see through you - you are a mouthpiece of IPOB/UGM and a core member of the group. The evil that you people initiated will consume you all soon. |
OfoIgbo:OfoIgbo you are daft and it is a shame that you think everybody else on nairaland is daft. When you people started with your UGM we all warned and begged that you should call your boys to order but you refused to listen. The politicians and traditional rulers, instead of saying no to the IPOB/UGM goons were encouraging and playing popularity contests so that IPOB people will like them. Today, the fire that all of you lit has become a huge inferno and by the way it has not started burning properly yet. By the time it fully starts to burn, none of you and your fathers’ houses will be safe. Just like the people of the northeast were petting Boko Haram on the head until it became a huge monster that has now consumed them so will it be when the violence that you southeast people cultivated becomes serious. |
johntraffic:The wonderful Joke Silva (the queen of them all), this lady (Genevieve), Omotola, Regina Askia and a handful of others are the sensible ones that can be described as celebrities and true role models. They are not perfect (no one is) but they are very different from all the shameless one-day-one-drama yeyebrities that largely make up Nigeria’s entertainment industry today. You know for a difference: young guys crush on Joke Silva, Genevieve, Omotola & co and “marry” them in their heads because they admire them. On the other hand, boys crush on the useless yeyebrities that fill up the place nowadays for sexual reasons because they see them first as hoes than as entertainers. |
Besk:God bless you for the good work. |
PrinceOfLagos:King of all Odes. King of all dumbasses. |
BMathew:Thanks, bro. I appreciate you loads. Hoping to have more intellectual exchanges with you on this forum. |
BMathew:Maximum respect for your temperance. I 100% respect the way you make your point. Indeed, you’re a gentleman. Sane people don’t fall into double digits on this forum. Thanks, bro, even though I must mention that, in as much as you claimed Kemi can sue Adah, you must also note that Sylvester’s family can easily sue Kemi for defamation, especially if investigations are concluded and it turns out she has made false allegations. |
Jakumo:You’re a brilliant writer and I have a lot of respect for what you wrote here. However, some bastards and terr0rists who have give the Igbo a bad name are the cause of the problem. |
Bigboy911:Arindin ni e. Oponu ni e. You’ve just defined your mother and all your sisters. |
BMathew:You really don’t know what you’re talking about. A family lost a 12-year old child, the entire nation is in grief and then a totally unhinged woman makes very disparaging statements about that dead child - with such chilling recklessness it’s unbelievable. Unfortunately, here you are sermonising on how the actress’ anger (which is felt by millions of Nigerians) should not be expressed in a particular way. I’m not sure you really understand the import of the anger in the land. Millions of people will gladly beat up Kemi Olunloyo over this latest matter and would gladly beat you up if you publicly identify yourself and continue to define to grieving people how they must express their grief and anger. |
Asgard73:ASGARD73, you’re a very notorious animal, drug-pusher and drug-adddict. No one here is surprised anymore by your drug-fuelled rantings and manic language on this forum. You are a disgrace to the family that did great injustice to humanity by giving birth to you. |
Omicron007:Because the sons of hate are the ones involved. They don’t shout when it’s their shame. |
Asgard73:You are a very stupid animal. Why bring a tribe (Yoruba) into this? An entire nation irrespective of tribe are mourning the shocking manslaughter of a child and you son of a sl*t are here calling out tribes. You must have a very serious mental illness that you inherited in your DNA. |
Cantonese:You are too old for this kind of behaviour Barrister Ebun. What is no holds barred in you calling people alive dead and awarding compensation to their families and get you refuse to acknowledge being wrong till now? What is no holds barred in you including 3 names with no surnames and awarding huge monies to their families even when nobody knows who they are? If you’re referring to Barrister Owonikoko as a paid government agent, you dig yourself into a very big hole. Many of us only ever heard of that guy for the very first time when he appeared in Arise TV last week. He was erudite, he was logical, he was convincing, he provided facts and read copiously from the Law’s as well as referring to precedents. One of the things he said was that throughout most of the compelling witness testimonies about the alleged “massacre” you absented yourself yet you signed the report affirming that there was a massacre. Bros, quite trying to pull the wool over our eyes. I know your reputation is at stake hence you are fighting desperately. However, we will respect you if you actually respond to the allegations against you with facts and/or acknowledge you are wrong for the first time in your Lekki life. Put facts in the public domain and quit the trickery bros. |
DeepSight:Stop displaying your ignorance for the world to see. That portion was given attention because it bears the report of the Panel’s own official pathologist. If they refuse to accept the report of your own official pathologist and official ballistic experts, just because they have not produced reports aligned with your warped logic, what does that make them? They (Ebun, Rinu & Co) are crooked, deceptive and lack integrity. Just wait to see the ‘facts’ Barrisyer Ebun said he wants to bring out - they will verbally shred every remaining integrity he may still be hanging on to now. Facts are sacred hence no one can define their beliefs em version of facts. |
Zico5:What persecution and who is persecuting your master Ebun Adegboruwa? Some of you are so dumb such that you assume everybody else is also dumb. If only you are enlightened enough to read properly, you’d have seen from the panel’s report that even its own official pathologist and ballistic experts gave conclusions that tore to shreds the machinations of Ebun, Rinu and their lies-infested cohort. If anyone did wuruwuru to the answer, it is the panel which turned a blind eye to every report of expert witnesses in order to desperately validate a social media narrative of a “massacre”. Write it down, many members of that panel now have their reputations totally torn to shreds. Only God’s mercies can rehabilitate them. |
AutoReportNG:You are too old for this kind of behaviour Barrister Ebun. Toks2008:Animals like you are not difficult to know. You use bad language on people and it soon turns out you cannot stand half of that bad language when the tables are turned. You have just demonstrated your lack of proper upbringing. You are uncultured and unrefined. Argue on the basis of facts, Mr/Mrs Tyson Fighter and stop showing here that you grew up as a tout. |
cafolu:Please show what you typed here to your 5-year old daughter/son if you have any and come back with what they say. They will not only know better but be disappointed that their dad/mum came up with this embarrassing illogicality. What is the use of a White Paper if it must carry wholesale the recommendations of a Panel it is meant to go through? Many countries of the world have always respected Nigerians’ intellectual capabilities. With cheap internet data and cheap phones, it looks like we are now exporting ignorance and daftness to the rest of the world. Many uneducated and unrefined people just come on social media now wanting to trend but ending up embarrassing themselves and their families online by exposing their lack of intellectual depth. |
Toks2008:You must be the dumbest person in your lineage. If not, you would have gone to read basic Law 101 to realise that it is the White Paper that gets gazetted and that is what is Law. An Administrative Panel barred Atiku from contesting the 2007 elections but the courts ruled that such Panels’ reports are no more than recommendations with no force of law. Atiku went on to contest that election against the late Yar’Adua. If you’re not dumb to your DNA, you will read to cure your ignorance before making comments that expose your lack of knowledge of the subject matter. |
cafolu:Stop using cunning lies to justify irresponsibility. You cannot establish deaths by public opinion. It must be backed up by facts - not just stated facts but verifiable facts. Falana has pushed in times past for implementation of White Papers when he woke up on the activist side of the bed. Now that his reputation (and his son’s) are on the line, with the “massacre” lies outed and totally exposed, he’s switching the narrative and clutching at straws. He cannot approbate and reprobate at the same time. Read this and ask yourself what the difference is between those White Papers and this one: https://thenationonlineng.net/falana-sack-wogu-for-alleged-complicity-in-subsidy-fraud/ Unfortunately, those who practice fake activism always fail to realise that the internet never forgets. Anyone can easily dig into your past within 30 minutes to fault your irresponsible and unprincipled nature. Falana used to be highly respected by most Nigerians who saw him as the heir apparent to Chief Gani Fawehinmi. We have been wrong - he is nothing like Gani. GANI only saw good or bad irrespective of who was on either side. Falana, on the other hand, likes to trend - he also cannot simply admit that he’s wrong (at times) and step back from the wrongdoing. Rather, he will dig himself further and further into more unprincipled behaviours and outbursts in order to keep trying to justify very obvious errors of omission and commission. It’s so sad seeing how low he has come. |
Aufbauh: Toks2008:This man used to be my hero when I was in University (in addition to Chief Gani Fawehinmi). But in recent times, his desperation to make his son Falz relevant and his desperation to validate his positions (faulty or otherwise) have made him to throw all caution to the winds. To all intents and purposes, Chief Femi Falana is a quack now and an object of laughter from so many who used to respect him and even venerate him before. The same man saying White Papers are not known to law has in the past pressed many governments to implement White Papers. When it suits him White papers are okay and MUST be implemented but when his reputation and his son’s reputation are now on the line, White Papers are no longer known to law. Read some of the articles below and one cannot help but realise that Chief Gani Fawehinmi must be turning in his grave seeing the pseudo-activist that his once protégé has become: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/259093-falana-wants-state-attorney-generals-investigated-refusal-prosecute-murder-suspects.html https://thenationonlineng.net/falana-sack-wogu-for-alleged-complicity-in-subsidy-fraud/ |

Fahdiga:Oponu radarada, so let’s even assume he owns First Bank, you are saying that as a private individual and businessman, he has no right to own shares in any company in Nigeria? Nairaland is so full of you dumb-asses who reason through your behind. First Bank is a Plc and EVERY NIGERIAN can own shares in it. Even those serving in public office now also can, so long as it’s done properly and declared appropriately. Seun and his team may like the traffic on this forum but it’s mainly made up (90%) of dumb and thuggish goons who openly celebrate ignorance of even the most basic of facts and compete for who is the most abusive. |
Bombastically00:Shut the hell up and stop pretending to be Yoruba. Yoruba people don’t suffer from dogmatism! |
