everychicken farmer i know of ,wake up btw 4.30/5am to attend to their holdings . for early feeding and waste clearing,watering etc, is that quantifiable.?
if u dont enjoy doing it u better quit now cos i bet my bottom dollar these birds do drop dead when u least expected.

@knowledge4, fine analysis right there, but i wany u to have in mind that there is no buss. u run in nigeria with less than 25% overheads, none. am yet to find that buss.
the cost of running even one okada exceed 25% overheads, its impossicant in nigeria.

@knowledge4, you definately have a valid point there. the reason ppl go into catfish buss. are to me two folds, number one the rate of unemplyment in the country is mind buggling hence most will think in my backyard i can make moni raising catfish '@ more or less zero cost.
secondly there are few bogus companies promoting there agenda thru vicious advert. on radio, papers ,not letting ppl know the problems involve but the ease @ wish they want to get rid of there fingerlinks.
this same problem you encounter by raising cockerel, i tell u for a fact the moni req. for feeding up to 6/7mths superceede the expected profit.
i want every body on n'l to note, if you go past 12/13wks b4 you sale ., mark me down you will loose moni.
unless 1, u are making your own feeds or 2 u are on a free range programme.

these are very easy crop to plant yet majority now prefare to go buy instead gething dirty @ the backyard.
this same lazy bone complain of price increment on foodstuff, well some forget how hard farming is.
the country is teething towards food shortage anyhow and lazybone will not be on the menu.

I think Nigerians generally hate the Police. I'm yet to ascertain why. They seem to prefer soldiers. Even here in Port Harcourt I have seen people say that a dead Policeman deserves it. The Police need to prove themselves.
