That is fine. I don't think there has been assault on his character though. I used to be a DDG fan myself and i had a longstanding debate with one of my guys offline. Right from around 2014 this guy used to criticize DG for being weak at crosses, not commanding the box and communicating, and not coming off his line. I supported DDG for years but slowly football changed and more was asked of keepers.

DDG has improved only marginally in terms of aerial ability, he still does not communicate well or command his box, he rarely comes off his line. Not being a ball-playing keeper is just the final nail. Appreciating his contributions to the club does not mean we should start lying to ourselves. We can extend him if we like. We will all be alive to bear witness to the fruits by God's grace.

Let Ten Hag do what's best.
