My support for De Gea will not stop the gaffer from chasing him if he wants.

You are one of the few people who brings reasonable grounds for why we need a ball playing keeper without an undertone of agenda.

What some of us are against is some unfounded takes and assault to De Gea's character as a United player. He's done he's best as a servant of the club.

PSG won't win the UCL soon and will continue to be also rans there until a significant change.

To be honest, PSG no get pull like that sha, it's just the money now. I think Chelsea are just being careful because if they over spend unnecessarily this time round, they may be very well be banned via FFP.

Just my thinking though because a footballer who's yet to achieve anything serious should not be considering PSG at all. Imagine a player like Kane going to PSG. Terribly run club!

Why? This is not a science experiment and the team is not a petri dish. If a new keeper comes in it won't be with these current players because we will improve other aspects of the team as well.
The club won't buy just a GK and neglect all the other aspects of the team just in order to convince a single fan in Africa called odizeey that DDG is a problem in terms of passing out from the back.

For the 10,000th time, getting a better ball-playing GK is not a panacea to all our problems playing possession football, but it is a major step in the right direction.

I know it, you know it, everyone knows it that there's no way ETH or Man UTD will sell Bruno. He's top 2 if not our most important player and 90% of all clubs will take him in their team in an instant!

We all saw how well the players retained possession when he didn't play away at Sevilla.

Glaringly Bruno's not perfect and needs to improve in some areas, but he's not in any way or form the problem of this team.

So De Gea is the number one problem. Noted.

I don't think anybody said a midfielder is not important in a possession-based team, rather that with the way teams press now the GK is the single most important player in a possession-based team. If your GK doesn't excel in both short and long passes you will keep losing the ball via long kicks from the keeper, which is what we are experiencing.

I'll like to see how a new keeper plays with this current players.

Bruno is more of an opportunistic deep-lying 2nd striker/forward than a tactically gifted AM...

Bruno is not needed for the initial build up phase. But at the later stages where retaining possession and creating chances are paramount, he's very important.

How well does he retain that possession.

People here talk about how the striker is needed in the build up of modern football to press and all. But a midfielder is now not important. It's okay.
