docsholz: Can you just imagine their hypocrisy? ? They have occupied virtually every top position of power in the land (and sometimes even brag about it for bragging rights), and in the same breath they whine about being marginalized and cry secession when not in power. Tell me, what should an Urhobo or Nupe man now do? Very unstable bunch. 9 Likes |

BuddahMonk: Am beginning to lose respect for you coz you are becoming very dishonest and hypocritical. Why did you leave out the fact that the VP is Yoruba and from the South, and that the Senate President is also from the Yoruba ethnic group even if from the NC geopolitical zone? This coming from the same you who opened a thread yesterday to bash Yoruba "sophistication" while praising the igbos for simultaneously producing VP and Senate President in shagari's era, while a Cross riverian was HOR speaker -- in effect setting the precedent for having the #2,3, and 4 positions being alloted to the South. You should be ashamed of yourself. 8 Likes 1 Share |

BuddahMonk: Ok. Now that you've gotten all that out of your chest maybe now you can calm down. I think you people are just too emotional for your own good, which clouds your collective judgment and causes you to behave irrationally. Igbos have produced President (Ironsi), VP (Zik, Ekwueme), enough Senate Presidents and at least one Speaker of the HOR (Jaja Wachukwu) -- these are the highest positions in the land any ethnic group can attain. And if you all play your politics well, another igboman could actually take over from Buhari, yet you people complain the most, even when it can be argued that you gain the most from Nigeria above any other ethnic group and contribute the least to the Nigerian commonwealth. What should a Nupe or Igalaman now say or do? What exactly will make you people happy? Is it when an Igboman becomes Governor of Lagos, or when you completely dominate the rest of us? ? Smh. 9 Likes |

seunmsg: KPOM! All Nigeria need do to get the SS support is to make one of them VP or some other high political office and break their ranks, and it'll be settled. Gowon who faced Ojukwu was a Christian from a minority MB ethnic group. That was a strategic move by the North,at the time, to consolidate their unity. Till today Gowon, a Middle beltan, is no friend of igbos in general and is still a strong defender of Nigeria's decision to go to war against Biafra. 5 Likes |

EUROBOMBER: Ok. Now, when last did you hear a MiddleBeltan call for secession in spite of "what is happening in the MB". Before you answer that, bear in mind that the NC/MB isn't an homogeneous entity.
Again I reiterate that your analysis is faulty. Adaka Boro took up arms against the Nigerian state before even Ojukwu declared Biafra. Yet the same Adaka later fought against Biafra on the Nigerian side. What does that tell you? It means the FG can repeat history via Divide and Conquer tactics to bring the SS to its side. Like I said earlier, even the ijaws today are mellow in spite of their son's defeat. That should be instructive that you shouldn't make flippant assumptions about who and who will be for or against Nigeria in the unfortunate event of another civil war. 13 Likes 1 Share |

EUROBOMBER: You are one of the few individuals I respect on this forum even though we are almost always on opposite political sides, but I think you are mistaken. Ojukwu premised his decision to secede in 1967 on similar analyses and failed miserably. The real question is who wants another civil war and why? I hear a lot of igbos taunting the Yorubas for not wanting their own country,as if Yorubas are the only ethnic group that has yet to give up on Nigeria. Nigeria is bigger than wazobia (Yoruba, igbo and Hausa). It is in fact a conglomerate of hundreds of ethnic groups. Last time I checked igbos are the main and primary instigators of the clamour to destroy the Nigerian union/state -- even the ijaws are now mellow and engaging Buhari and the APC constructively even if largely still in opposition politically. I don't hear ibibios or anangs clamouring for it, neither are Nupes or Esans, or Urhobos. Yorubas will not be blackmailed into a spot by Biafran apologists, we will decide if and when we want to leave Nigeria and on our own terms. Bro, again I ask, WHO WANTS ANOTHER NIGERIAN CIVIL WAR? 47 Likes 8 Shares |

Xpaz: lol. The joke is actually on you and your wandering clan who keep migrating daily to the same SW for the simple fact that your daily bread is more assured here than in your accursed region combined. Civil servants aren't the only people in Osun, so life goes on for those who are being owed by gov't,and besides Osun isn't the only state of the Federation owing workers. That you mentioned Oyo alone has exposed your abysmal ignorance coz Oyo state alone adds more to the Nigerian economy than the entire SE region, not to talk of the billion dollar Cocoa export earnings Ondo state contributed to the Nigerian economy last year alone. We here in the SW contribute up to 80% of Nigeria's non-oil revenue to the Federal coffers -- Google is your friend so please go and educate yourself since you are obviously ignorant of this documented fact. What does the SE contribute to the Nigerian economy besides the negligible Oil contribution from Imo and Abia? When compared with other Oil producing states of the Federation SE oil contribution amounts to a drop in a bucket. Considering how little value you all add to the Nigerian commonwealth I pray God speed the day you all leave for your Biafra. Smh |
Politics / Re: Radio Biafra And Nnamdi Kanu: A Threat To Nigeria’s Stability. By Okija Juju by OduaVanguard: 7:45am On Jun 25, 2015 |
Many of us concerned Yorubas are monitoring the situation from here in the SW, especially Kanu's continued incitement against Yorubas. They'll be foolish to think that we won't respond if they carry out their violent threats against Yoruba sons and daughters, very foolish indeed. |

IlekeHD: I think it's rather too late coz the brainwashing that is taking hold is fantastically/super effective. Based on the comments I perused on Kanu's Facebook page, I seriously believe another terrorist group WILL emerge from the SE corridor any moment from now -- it's not a matter of 'if' but 'when'. |

IlekeHD: Honestly, they can strap themselves up in TNT/bombs and detonate them at Aba and Onitsha motor parks for Kanu for all I care, as long as they restrict that to the SE. It will be foolish of them to kill non-igbos and not expect reprisals, considering how many of them live outside their region. |

new2020: I don't give a flying ffvck about Biafra. My own is that all your chest-beating and threats of violence should be limited to the SE. In fact, any Yoruba man foolish enough to live in the SE shythole right now deserves whatever is coming to him. But be assured that for every Yoruba life/blood spilled on igbo soil, a truckload of igbos will be slaughtered in retaliation here in the SW -- I will personally see to that, unless there are no Igbos remaining in Lagos in such an eventuality. I repeat that I DARE you people to start harming non-igbos. 1966 will be child's play. 6 Likes |

liberty300: I only pity those igbos that don't support the Biafra "movement" in the East coz they may end up being slaughtered for being "sabos". I dare the Biafran militants to harm non-igbos coz that will be a game-changer right there -- from that point on no Igbo living outside of the SE will be safe. 1966 would look like child's play coz then they will realize that other Nigerians sef get crase. 6 Likes |
