OP said: I am also writing/speaking as someone who was once an IPOB member, but left after I found out that this Nnamdi Kanu lacks all the facts and never listens to advise. Emphasis on the bolded portion of the oilyngbati 's quote. That right there is a common characteristic with all deranged demagogues/dictators -- they feel they are the only custodians of "truth" and are know-it-alls. Smh. 2 Likes |

One of the Senators of Like Minds vowed that there was no way the Sahara Reporters will be allowed to get away with such recklessness. Yimu. Even GEJ couldn't do nada to SR upon their constant exposes on his admin and in spite of federal might, how much more a Senator? SR go just begin dig up dirt on all of them then they will know how far. |

kulikuli26: Lol. You are a fool and are suffering from serious comprehension issues. I didn't mention anything about first timers holding principal offices in the Senate, rather I specifically referred to the HOR. Shebi you dug up Hosea from Oyo, why not also dig up first time HOR principal officers as precedents? You have a lot of digging to do so knock yourself out. Even when the SE and NC APC caucuses recently complained about marginalization, they appealed to the party to apply the "principle" and "spirit" of Federal Character and the constitution, and not extant house rules or any previous precedent. |

kulikuli26: I don't give two ffvcks if you're from the SE or not, I just told you the truth. If the SE had produced just one single APC senator the current NA debacle could've been avoided coz the Senate presidency would naturally have gone to the SE -- the zone didn't even produce a single APC senator, not one. Iriase is from the SS and has been presented by APC leadership as Deputy Chief whip but Dogora rejected the party leadership's candidates. The Imo APC reps are not even in contention coz they are first time reps and it's against the HOuse rules for freshers to hold such leadership positions. You are the real bigot here coz you jumped the gun by accusing the party of not being just and equitable without considering all sides of the situation. 1 Like |

kulikuli26: And what happens when a zone (like the SE) has no single qualified elected rep or senator in the ruling/majority party, so according to you, the members from that zone in the opposition party should now be considered by the ruling party to fill positions, right? You try well well, you hear? You people should learn to play your politics with some sense next time, rather than putting all your eggs in one (PDP) basket only to later shout marginalization after scheming yourselves out of reckoning from important positions. 3 Likes |

new2020: Abegi make I hear word! Save your sermon for revival pls. What I said is no different from what Biafran apologists have been screaming all over Nairaland lately, that such investments are rather needed in their own homeland. If you are not a hypocrite then openly condemn such folks that say that on here, but I am not holding my breath expecting that from you coz you never openly condemn the excesses of the Biafrans (they are saints to you), but if and when others lije myself expose their hypocrisy you will quickly jump to their defense. You are nothing but a hypocrite |

Politics / Re: Why Has Fayose Yet To Appoint Commisioners, 8months After?? by OduaVanguard: 8:25am On Jun 30, 2015 |
My own theory is that Fayose spent way too much time thinking of ways to attack Buhari as a candidate before the elections that he pretty much forgot he was elected to govern Ekiti. Till today, he has yet to initiate or commission any significant project in the state. Even his "stomach infrastructure" sef don cease. I think it's safe to conclude even at this point that one shouldn't expect anything meaningful in terms of governance from him throughout his tenure. The guy is simply an empty vessel. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Obiano and other SE Govs need to do more to convince Igbos rich folks to invest more in their SE homelands instead of the SW -- though I would also pick SW over SE as an investment destination any day! Here's another Igbo/Biafran already scheming how to erect a hospital in the yet-to-be-completed Eko Atlantic city -- even when there's a Centenary city being constructed in Enugu and a similar one, Millenium city, in Anambra, he would still rather build it in Lagos. Small time they will be abusing "Yolobas". Smh. 6 Likes 1 Share |
