Nexus25:Don’t waste your time on those Tinubu miscreants. How many countries are high ranking military officers and some of the finest airmen dying in air mishaps like they do in Nigeria? It’s so regular, it looks like a norm. It shows everything wrong with Nigeria. We want out! Tinubu and his miscreants can move to Gusau or Sokoto. They just killed 4 brilliant aircrew and a fine officer for no reason. I’m sure they won’t do proper investigation and this would be swept under the rug. And it’s back to business as usual. We’re out of that failed country. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:This is wishful thinking with the type of ethnocentric politics, jingoism and regional struggle in Nigeria. A country that can’t even do a proper population census. Kano has been divided 2/3 times now but somehow it’s allegedly still more populated than Lagos and the states that came out of it have big population. As the population continues to grow exponentially unabated, with the limited resources, it’s only a matter of time before all hell break loose in the Southwest. Yoruba leaders are just too stupid to see beyond their noses and all they care about is the useless “accommodating” label. Leaders need to have foresight and analytical skills. But we’re going to put an end to this rubbish soon. If you’re Yoruba and you live outside Yorubaland, start thinking home. If you don’t like the crowded Yoruba states, look towards Osun and Ondo. |
This is what I was talking about on another thread last week. There are too many refugees from other parts of Nigeria in the Southwest. And these people are fighting poor Yorubas for the scarce resources available. There’s a limit to how accommodating one can be especially when resources are scarce. To educated illiterates that govern Yorubaland, they believe bigger population drives commerce. But in reality, it doesn’t. The only thing it does is stifle development/growth and put unnecessary pressure on the already inadequate infrastructures. And it also drives the prices of things up unnecessarily. It’s not like these people are coming with money to invest, most are moving to the Southwest for survival. Something has to be done about this. And the easiest way to fix this is for us to control our borders and laws. |
[s] PissfulProtester:[/s] This dirty and leprosy infested Hausa/Fulani monkey again. I can't take any man that sits to take a pee seriously. ![]() |
Mooh247:Well, that's what his detractors have been saying. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbuL9nCkqaQ Is this the same man people are calling uneducated? Only a Yorubaman can lack formal education but understand economics and speak with wisdom/intelligence. ![]() Igboho is my hero. ![]() |
pongwa:The premise of your argument is based solely on size, population and edifice. However, that isn’t how development index is measured. Okay, let’s agree that Osogbo is small hence it looks aesthetically better than Ibadan and Abeokuta overall. But Osun also gets smaller allocation from the FG and its IGR is lower than Oyo and Ogun. Once you put that into consideration, the other two states have no excuses whatsoever. And they’re victims of successive incompetent leaders. What we highlighted on this thread that shows Osogbo is more developed: A. Better infrastructures. B. Stable electricity C. Higher literacy rate. D. Lower poverty rate. E. More modern All these show that the quality of life is better in Osogbo than Ibadan and Abeokuta. Talking about edifice and size won’t change that reality. The focus should be on the incompetence of successive governors that have ruled both Oyo and Ogun. |
BraveDesign:You won’t see them here. They will run from any thread that challenges them. But are quick to call Igboho who’s more intelligent and savvy than them an illiterate. ![]() Paupers with poor mentality. |
Awon elebi. No elections in 2023. Yoruba nation now! |
I have been seeing some lousy comments about the lack of Yoruba intellectuals in Yoruba nation agitation by some lazy posters. So it begs the following questions: A. How did you arrive at that conclusion? B. How many Yoruba intellectuals do you know and have direct contact with? I believe the lazy assumption is because the corrupt politicians aren’t involved and all they want to see is Chief Sunday Igboho. A lazy and biased mind would only see what he/she wants to see. The smart ones would do due diligence. Apart from the daily Twitter conference among some of the best Yoruba brains, there are countless town hall meetings being held all over the US and UK by Yoruba intellectuals. Qualified intellectuals who have made their marks on the global stage, not local champions with forged certificates. Don’t speak on what you don’t know, if you haven’t done your due diligence. It’s not like your opinions are important and we don’t need everyone. Once we achieve the goal, you will either get on with it or get deported to Sokoto. Those are the two options. But opportunities are there for you to join and add your voice to the agitation now. Follow @OdudwaRepublic on Twitter if you want to know more. |
