Nairalanders,as I write,I am in shock.
My Sister travelled back to Abuja,with God is good motors yesterday morning,and we couldn't reach her till this minute.
we got a call from G.I.G.M customer care informing that my Sister was involved in a bus robbery,and was kidnapped as well as two female corpers.
Efforts to get more info failed,as the customer care staff of G.I.G,M who called initially to inform us,was all very evasive and declined to speak with us in detail,even to let us have access to the manifest,so we could speak with other passengers who were on the bus,was denied.
we only just got to find out this evening from one of their customer care staff ,at the Iyana Ipaja terminus,where my sister boarded ,who initially debunked the info ,after she made series of calls to her colleagues in abuja,apparently she had no info on the incident since yesterday evening,until we approached their Iyana Ipaja terminus, that was how she got to find out that in fact ,there was a robbery and kidnap of my sister and two other female corpers as they got into Abuja,and the kidnappers were requesting a ransom.
,we gathered,they were trying to conceal the fact that a ransom was demanded from the transport operator by the kidnappers.
please,house any useful suggestions? I need sound advice.

I have no idea whatever happened to logical and rational reasoning. Our Country is in a precarious state, and all some young people on nairaland do is insult each other, instead of being objective and honest.
Things are really bad now, take a trip to the markets and you will realise how bad a state we are in.
Every sector of productive industry is suffering strangulation.
As an Enginner in the construction industry, I will tell you that, materials we bought a few months ago, have doubled in price and still rising and its killing our proffession, you cant even find certain accesories in the market anymore, cos the importers cant afford to bring these things in.
I and a teeming lot of my colleagues, are still expecting the change we were promised, negative or positive, time will tell.

When the time is right, We all will learn in the hard way!

This is very true,in Ifako Gbagada,the INEC officials have stopped coming to issue PVC cards,while there are thousands of people coming to registration centres to collect their PVC's meanwhile INEC officials are no where to be found around .
This is very sad,I wonder why things like this happen in Nigeria in this day and age.
I haven't gotten mine till today,I have been going to the registration centre I registered at at gbagada comprehensive high school,in Ifako,Gbagada for over 2 weeks now and its such a shame!
