I'm 29 and I stay in southwest Nigeria, although I'm from the southeast of Nigeria. This region has changed my life because I came here with nothing but dreams, I'm not exactly where I want to be but I'm doing well. So I met this girl she's OK physically, I told her I would like us to get to more about ourselves she asked me what I do for a living and where I'm from I gave my answers and also asked the same questions of her. She's from Osun state She told me that she's not interested because she will not date any igbo guy �. E shock me too!!
I almost feel ppl here (OYO) are afraid of young successful men. ESPECIALLY men from the East. This same girl is running after another guy from her state who has a girlfriend already and she knows. I would very much like to believe Nigeria is one country but my experience here points in the other direction.
Are we really that different?
