prowriterss:Please one of my friend had diploma certificate in Theology from his church, he asked me whether its proper to add it to his CV. People around him have divided opinion about it, some said he can add it since its an additional knowledge for him, while some said its a turn off that it makes someone look too religious since he is not applying for any job that requires it. Please note! His first degree is Agricultural Economics and had MBA after. He is currently working in a bank and got his Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) last year. Is it necessary to still add Diploma Certificate in Theology to his CV? Can the certificate in any way be positive in his CV? |

RoyalBlu:I also will like to go for something like this, but do you think it's ideal for a small family considering fuel consumption and Honda related fault? |
![]() |
Gkemz:Sure. Just like when I heard that this is the correct form of that popular saying "You can't have your cake and eat it", but we used to the other way round. I was like why won't I eat my cake when I have it. There are many things we just have to accept and move on in life. Till tomorrow I am still questioning why furniture and information do not have plural form. |

SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE Dear friends, I enjoy writing about relationships but sometimes it is pertinent to write about some issues that are important for effectual relationships on social media. I've personally experienced a few not so good manners on Facebook so I thought it was a good idea to point them out so that those fond of these habits can stop it. So, here they are: 1. STOP TAGGING PEOPLE UNNECESSARILY! I mean, when your post has nothing to do with people tagged, what's the point? If you are in a business and you want people to be aware of it, send them a message privately. Don’t just tag people randomly. Some people don't mind all sorts of junks on their Facebook walls but others cherish their walls a lot including me. So I'm sorry, I won't accept any tag that has nothing to do with me or my vision. If you want to share a post and you want someone to be aware of it, then you can mention them in the comment section to let them know. 2. SEND MEANINGFUL MESSAGES! Someone doesn't really know you but because the person has been kind enough to accept your friend request does not mean you start sending messages like "hi", "hello", “are you there"? "Please help me" etc as if the other person is just sitting in front of the computer or holding the phone and waiting to chat with you. Some people would even go ahead to call the person directly via Facebook messenger, instagram or whatsapp just because you can see that the person is online. That you see the person is online does not mean that he or she is idle online. For instance, when I’m online, I am online for a purpose and I might not want to be distracted. If you would like to have a conversation with a person, courtesy demands that you properly introduce yourself and what you want. For instance, when you are messaging someone for the first time, say something like “Hello ABC, My name is XYZ. Thank you for accepting my friend request. I’ve been following your posts for a while. I need help with QRS”. This way, you have introduced yourself and have started a sensible conversation. When people feel valued, they respond to you, and if they don’t, that’s their prerogative. Don’t condemn them. 3. READ POSTS PROPERLY BEFORE COMMENTING! Some people are so quick to comment without digesting the post. Others just see the trail of comments of people and follow suit. I once saw a post where a man shared a picture and wrote sweet things about his mum who just passed away and instead of some people reading the post properly and making reasonable comments like "rest in peace", they were wishing his late mum a happy birthday and many people joined the bandwagon. Another example is a recent post of mine where I celebrated the anniversary of my relationship and wrote extensively how I met my husband and even included my wedding date in the post! I had so many people wishing me a happy wedding anniversary instead!!! Oh friends, but why? I can go on and on but I will stop here. When next you have an activity on social media, please think on these things. Thank you Am I the only one who feels this way? Please what other etiquettes must people have on social media? Add yours!!! Feel free to share © Dr Blessing Ekundayo #Etiquette101 #SocialMediaEtiquette #DudushewaInspires #WellsOfWisdom |

A man digging a grave in northern India found a newborn girl buried alive, police said on Monday, in the latest case to shine a spotlight on female infanticide in the country. Hitesh Sirohi had gone to bury his own daughter, who died a few minutes after birth on Wednesday, when his spade hit an earthen pot, local police in Uttar Pradesh state told AFP. “When he noticed a newborn girl inside it, he immediately rescued her and dialled… for help.” Sirohi told the Times of India he found the baby wrapped in a cloth and crying. “At one point I thought that my daughter had come alive. But the voice was actually coming from the pot,” he told the newspaper. The newborn was taken to hospital where she is receiving medical care, police said, adding that a local politician was paying for her expenses. India has long struggled with female infanticide, which has become widespread because of parents’ preferences for sons — who are viewed as investments and heirs — while girls are seen as a liability. India is trying to bridge the sex ratio gap with tough laws, as the country fares badly with 940 females for every 1,000 males according to the 2011 census. Prenatal sex determination was outlawed in 1994 but families’ still use illegal methods or devices to discover the gender and terminate pregnancies for unwanted female offspring. A 2011 study in the British medical journal The Lancet found that up to 12 million girls had been aborted in the last three decades in India. In January, a three-week-old baby girl was found buried alive in Rajasthan state after locals heard her crying from a shallow grave, but died after a few weeks at a hospital. In 2017, police in western Maharashtra state recovered 19 female foetuses from a sewer near a clinic. A doctor was arrested and charged with illegally aborting female foetuses for parents desperate for a boy. https://punchng.com/man-burying-daughter-finds-newborn-alive-in-grave/ |

This 18yr old girl died after two weeks of wedding. It may not be anything related to her marriage that led to her death, but I still want to draw a few lessons from this especially to single ladies and guys. Marriage is good, but many marriages are graves. Some are graves of destinies, graves of vision, graves of happiness, graves of peace and joy. Would you had rather be married and die to each of the above mentioned? To be single is better than to marry wrongly. This is not saying that this girl married wrongly. Even if you are 40 or above, be happy because God's love is sufficient for us all. Don't be too quick to jump into marriage. Most married people wish they had waited a little longer. Your singleness is not a curse. Copied from Facebook

A lecturer II in the Department of Mathematics, University of Ibadan has reportedly committed suicide. The don, identified as A.O Subair set himself on fire on Monday afternoon in his senior staff quarters located at Phillipson Road of the University. He has been buried at Akinyele public cemetery. It was gathered that the late lecturer had recently resigned from the university without a justifiable reason but was yet to pack out of the staff quarters before he took his life. It was gathered that the late university lecturer had separated from his family and had challenges progressing on his career. Confirming the incident in a telephone Chat, Chairman Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Professor Deji Omole described the incident as pathetic and a major loss to the Union. Omole said the Union was only informed of the burning flat while efforts to save him proved abortive. Omole urged members of the Union to confide in one another saying isolation could deepen depression which may culminate in suicidal ideation. The late subair was survived by three children. “I used to swap babies at UTH for fun”!, she confessed on Monday in her sick bed. “I have terminal cancer and I know I will be dying soon. I wish to confess my sins before God and before all the affected people especially those who were giving birth at UTH during my service. I have found God, Ia, now born again. I have nothing to hide, In the 12 years I worked in the maternity ward at UTH, I swapped close to 5000 babies”, she said. “If you were born in UTH between the years 1983 to 1995 chances are your parents may not be your biological parents. I had developed a habbit of swapping newly born babies just for fun. So take a good look at your siblings, if for example everyone is light and you are darkie… you are that child and I am really sorry for that” “I know I sinned against God and may he forgve me for that. I am also asking Zambians to forgive me for the evil things I was doing to innocent children. I have caused some faithful couples to divorce after going for DNA Tests. Its now that I have realised I was just being used by a demon to do that. I have causeed many mothers to breastfeed children who are not theirs biologically. I dont want to go to Hell for that, Am really sorry I have sinned alot. Please FORGIVE me”, said Sister Elizabeth Bwalya Mwewa.
